1 Yna galwodd Jacob ar ei feibion, ac meddai, "Dewch ynghyd, imi ddweud wrthych beth fydd eich hynt yn y dyddiau sydd i ddod.
2Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; And hearken unto Israel your father.
2 "Dewch yma a gwrandewch, feibion Jacob, gwrandewch ar Israel eich tad.
3Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength; The pre-eminence of dignity, and the pre-eminence of power.
3 "Reuben, ti yw fy nghyntafanedig, fy ngrym a blaenffrwyth fy nerth, yn rhagori mewn balchder, yn rhagori mewn gallu,
4Boiling over as water, thou shalt not have the pre-eminence; Because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
4 yn aflonydd fel du373?r; ni ragori mwyach, oherwydd dringaist i wely dy dad, dringaist i'm gorweddfa a'i halogi.
5Simeon and Levi are brethren; Weapons of violence are their swords.
5 "Y mae Simeon a Lefi yn frodyr; arfau creulon yw eu ceibiau.
6O my soul, come not thou into their council; Unto their assembly, my glory, be not thou united; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will they hocked an ox.
6 Na fydded imi fynd i'w cyngor, na pherthyn i'w cwmni; oherwydd yn eu llid lladdasant wu375?r, a thorri llinynnau gar yr ychen fel y mynnent.
7Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; And their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, And scatter them in Israel.
7 Melltigedig fyddo eu llid am ei fod mor arw, a'u dicter am ei fod mor greulon; rhannaf hwy yn Jacob a'u gwasgaru yn Israel.
8Judah, thee shall thy brethren praise: Thy hand shall be on the neck of thine enemies; Thy father's sons shall bow down before thee.
8 "Jwda, fe'th ganmolir gan dy frodyr; bydd dy law ar war dy elynion, a meibion dy dad yn ymgrymu iti.
9Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, thou art gone up: He stooped down, he couched as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up?
9 Jwda, cenau llew ydwyt, yn codi oddi ar yr ysglyfaeth, fy mab; yn plygu a chrymu fel llew, ac fel llewes; pwy a'i cyfyd?
10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come: And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.
10 Ni fydd y deyrnwialen yn ymadael Jwda, na ffon y deddfwr oddi rhwng ei draed, hyd oni ddaw i Seilo; iddo ef y bydd ufudd-dod y bobloedd.
11Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine; He hath washed his garments in wine, And his vesture in the blood of grapes:
11 Bydd yn rhwymo'i ebol wrth y winwydden, a'r llwdn asyn wrth y winwydden br; bydd yn golchi ei wisg mewn gwin, a'i ddillad yng ngwaed grawnwin.
12His eyes shall be red with wine, And his teeth white with milk.
12 Bydd ei lygaid yn dywyllach na gwin, a'i ddannedd yn wynnach na llaeth.
13Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; And he shall be for a haven of ships; And his border shall be upon Sidon.
13 "Bydd Sabulon yn byw ar lan y mr; bydd yn borthladd llongau, a bydd ei derfyn hyd Sidon.
14Issachar is a strong ass, Couching down between the sheepfolds:
14 "Y mae Issachar yn asyn cryf, yn gorweddian rhwng y corlannau;
15And he saw a resting-place that it was good, And the land that it was pleasant; And he bowed his shoulder to bear, And became a servant under taskwork.
15 pan fydd yn gweld lle da i orffwyso, ac mor hyfryd yw'r tir, fe blyga'i ysgwydd i'r baich, a dod yn gaethwas dan orfod.
16Dan shall judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel.
16 "Bydd Dan yn barnu ei bobl fel un o lwythau Israel.
17Dan shall be a serpent in the way, An adder in the path, That biteth the horse's heels, So that his rider falleth backward.
17 Bydd Dan yn sarff ar y ffordd, ac yn neidr ar y llwybr, yn brathu sodlau'r march nes i'r marchog syrthio yn wysg ei gefn.
18I have waited for thy salvation, O Jehovah.
18 "Disgwyliaf am dy iachawdwriaeth, O ARGLWYDD!
19Gad, a troop shall press upon him; But he shall press upon their heel.
19 "Gad, daw ysbeilwyr i'w ymlid, ond bydd ef yn eu hymlid hwy.
20Out of the Asher his bread shall be fat, And he shall yield royal dainties.
20 "Aser, bras fydd ei fwyd, ac fe rydd ddanteithion gweddus i frenin.
21Naphtali is a hind let loose: He giveth goodly words.
21 "Y mae Nafftali yn dderwen ganghennog, yn lledu brigau teg.
22Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a fountain; His branches run over the wall.
22 "Y mae Joseff yn gangen ffrwythlon, cangen ffrwythlon wrth ffynnon, a'i cheinciau'n dringo dros y mur.
23The archers have sorely grieved him, And shot at him, and persecute him:
23 Bu'r saethwyr yn chwerw tuag ato, yn ei saethu yn llawn gelyniaeth;
24But his bow abode in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong, By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, (From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),
24 ond parhaodd ei fwa yn gadarn, cryfhawyd ei freichiau trwy ddwylo Un Cadarn Jacob, trwy enw'r Bugail, Craig Israel;
25Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee, And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee, With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that coucheth beneath, Blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.
25 trwy Dduw dy dad, sydd yn dy nerthu, trwy Dduw Hollalluog, sydd yn dy fendithio bendithion y nefoedd uchod, bendithion y dyfnder sy'n gorwedd isod, bendithion y bronnau a'r groth.
26The blessings of thy father Have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors Unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: They shall be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
27Benjamin is a wolf that raveneth: In the morning she shall devour the prey, And at even he shall divide the spoil.

28 Dyna ddeuddeg llwyth Israel, a dyna'r hyn a ddywedodd eu tad wrthynt wrth eu bendithio, a rhoi i bob un ei fendith.
29And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
29 Yna rhoes Jacob orchymyn iddynt a dweud, "Cesglir fi at fy mhobl. Claddwch fi gyda'm hynafiaid yn yr ogof sydd ym maes Effron yr Hethiad,
30in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place.
30 yr ogof sydd ym maes Machpela, i'r dwyrain o Mamre, yng ngwlad Canaan. Prynodd Abraham hi gyda'r maes gan Effron yr Hethiad i gael hawl bedd.
31there they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah:
31 Yno y claddwyd Abraham a'i wraig Sara; yno y claddwyd Isaac a'i wraig Rebeca, ac yno y cleddais i Lea.
32the field and the cave that is therein, which was purchased from the children of Heth.
32 Cafwyd hawl ar y maes a'r ogof sydd ynddo gan yr Hethiaid."
33And when Jacob made an end of charging his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.
33 Wedi i Jacob orffen rhoi ei orchymyn i'w feibion, tynnodd ei draed ato i'r gwely, bu farw, a chasglwyd ef at ei bobl.
