1For, behold, the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah stay and staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water;
1 Wele, y mae'r Arglwydd, ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, yn symud ymaith o Jerwsalem a Jwda y gynhaliaeth a'r ffon � yr holl gynhaliaeth o fara ac o ddu373?r �
2the mighty man, and the man of war; the judge, and the prophet, and the diviner, and the elder;
2 y gu373?r cadarn, y rhyfelwr, y barnwr a'r proffwyd, y dewinwr a'r henadur,
3the captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counsellor, and the expert artificer, and the skilful enchanter.
3 y capten a'r swyddog, y cynghorwr a'r swynwr celfydd, a'r sawl sy'n deall hudoliaeth.
4And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
4 Gosodaf fechgyn yn swyddogion arnynt a phlantos i'w rheoli;
5And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the old man, and the base against the honorable.
5 a bydd y bobl yn gorthrymu ei gilydd, a phob un ei gymydog; bydd y llanc yn drahaus yn erbyn yr henwr, yn y parchus.
6When a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, [saying], Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand;
6 Pan gaiff rhywun afael ar ei frawd yn nhu375? ei dad, fe ddywed, "Y mae gennyt ti glogyn; bydd di'n bennaeth arnom; bydded y pentwr hwn o garnedd dan dy awdurdod di."
7in that day shall he lift up [his voice], saying, I will not be a healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: ye shall not make me ruler of the people.
7 Ond yn y dydd hwnnw fe etyb, "Na, ni allaf fod yn arweinydd arnoch. Nid oes bara yn fy nhu375?, na chlogyn ychwaith; ni chewch fy ngosod i yn bennaeth y tylwyth."
8For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen; because their tongue and their doings are against Jehovah, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
8 Cwympodd Jerwsalem, syrthiodd Jwda; y mae eu geiriau a'u gweithredoedd yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD, yn herio ei fawrhydi.
9The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have done evil unto themselves.
9 Y mae'r olwg ar eu hwynebau yn tystio yn eu herbyn, ac y maent yn cyhoeddi eu pechodau fel Sodom. Gwae hwy! Y maent yn dwyn drwg arnynt eu hunain.
10Say ye of the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
10 Dywedwch y bydd yn dda ar y cyfiawn, canys c�nt fwyta ffrwyth eu gweithredoedd.
11Woe unto the wicked! [it shall be] ill [with him]; for what his hands have done shall be done unto him.
11 Gwae'r anwir! Bydd yn ddrwg arno, canys fe gaiff yr hyn a haedda.
12As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they that lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
12 Plant sy'n gorthrymu fy mhobl, a gwragedd sy'n eu rheoli. O fy mhobl, y mae dy arweinwyr yn dy gamarwain, ac yn drysu trywydd dy lwybrau.
13Jehovah standeth up to contend, and standeth to judge the peoples.
13 Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn sefyll i ddadlau ei achos, ac yn barod i farnu ei bobl.
14Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of his people, and the princes thereof: It is ye that have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses:
14 Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn dod i farn yn erbyn henuriaid y bobl a'u swyddogion: "Yr ydych wedi lloffa'r winllan yn llwyr; y mae cyfran y tlawd yn eich tai.
15what mean ye that ye crush my people, and grind the face of the poor? saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.
15 Beth yw eich meddwl, yn ysigo fy mhobl ac yn mathru wyneb y tlawd?" medd yr Arglwydd, ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd.
16Moreover Jehovah said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with outstretched necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet;
16 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD, "Oherwydd i ferched Seion dorsythu, a cherdded o amgylch �'u gyddfau'n ymestyn allan, a'u llygaid yn cilwenu, a'u camau'n fursennaidd, a rhodio � fferledau am eu traed,
17therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and Jehovah will lay bare their secret parts.
17 bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn rhoi clafr ar gorun merched Seion, bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dinoethi eu gwarthle hwy."
18In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, and the cauls, and the crescents;
18 Yn y dydd hwnnw bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn symud ymaith bob addurn � y fferledau, y coronigau, y cilgantiau,
19the pendants, and the bracelets, and the mufflers;
19 y clustlysau, y breichledau, y gorchuddion,
20the headtires, and the ankle chains, and the sashes, and the perfume-boxes, and the amulets;
20 y penwisgoedd, y cadwyni, y gwregys, y blychau perarogl, y m�n swyndlysau;
21the rings, and the nose-jewels;
21 y fodrwy-s�l, y fodrwy trwyn;
22the festival robes, and the mantles, and the shawls, and the satchels;
22 y gwisgoedd hardd, y fantell, y glog a'r pyrsau;
23the hand-mirrors, and the fine linen, and the turbans, and the veils.
23 y gwisgoedd sidan a'r gwisgoedd lliain, y twrban a'r gorchudd wyneb.
24And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet spices there shall be rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well set hair, baldness; and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth; branding instead of beauty.
24 Yn lle perarogl bydd drewdod, yn lle gwregys bydd rhaff; yn lle tresi o wallt bydd moelni, yn lle mantell bydd sachliain, yn lle prydferthwch bydd marc llosg.
25Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
25 Syrth dy wu375?r gan gleddyf, a'th wu375?r nerthol mewn rhyfel;
26And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she shall be desolate and sit upon the ground.
26 bydd pyrth y ddinas yn gofidio a galaru, a hithau wedi ei gadael yn unig, yn eistedd ar y llawr.
