¹And I said, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: is it not for you to know justice?

¹ Yna dywedais, "Clywch, benaethiaid Jacob, arweinwyr tu375? Israel! Oni ddylech chwi wybod beth sy'n iawn?

²ye who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

² Yr ydych yn cas�u daioni ac yn caru drygioni, yn rhwygo'u croen oddi ar fy mhobl, a'u cnawd oddi ar eu hesgyrn;

³who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

³ yr ydych yn bwyta'u cnawd, yn blingo'u croen oddi amdanynt, yn dryllio'u hesgyrn, yn eu malu fel cnawd i badell ac fel cig i grochan.

⁴Then shall they cry unto Jehovah, but he will not answer them; yea, he will hide his face from them at that time, according as they have wrought evil in their doings.

⁴ Yna fe waeddant ar yr ARGLWYDD, ond ni fydd yn eu hateb; bydd yn cuddio'i wyneb oddi wrthynt yr amser hwnnw, am fod eu gweithredoedd mor ddrygionus."

⁵Thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that make my people to err; that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and whoso putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him:

⁵ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD am y proffwydi sy'n arwain fy mhobl ar gyfeiliorn, y rhai os c�nt rywbeth i'w fwyta sy'n cyhoeddi heddwch, ond pan na rydd neb ddim iddynt sy'n cyhoeddi rhyfel yn ei erbyn:

⁶Therefore it shall be night unto you, that ye shall have no vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.

⁶ "Am hyn bydd yn nos heb weledigaeth arnoch, ac yn dywyllwch heb ddim dewiniaeth; bydd yr haul yn machlud ar y proffwydi, a'r dydd yn tywyllu o'u cwmpas."

⁷And the seers shall be put to shame, and the diviners confounded; yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

⁷ Bydd y gweledyddion mewn gwarth a'r dewiniaid mewn cywilydd; byddant i gyd yn gorchuddio'u genau, am nad oes ateb oddi wrth Dduw.

⁸But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Jehovah, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

⁸ Ond amdanaf fi, rwy'n llawn grym ac ysbryd yr ARGLWYDD, a chyfiawnder a nerth, i gyhoeddi ei drosedd i Jacob, a'i bechod i Israel.

⁹Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, that abhor justice, and pervert all equity.

⁹ Clywch hyn, benaethiaid Jacob, arweinwyr tu375? Israel, chwi sy'n cas�u cyfiawnder ac yn gwyrdroi pob uniondeb,

¹⁰They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

¹⁰ yn adeiladu Seion trwy dywallt gwaed a Jerwsalem trwy dwyll.

¹¹The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us.

¹¹ Y mae ei phenaethiaid yn barnu yn �l y t�l, ei hoffeiriaid yn cyfarwyddo yn �l y wobr, ei phroffwydi yn cyflwyno neges yn �l yr arian; ac eto, pwysant ar yr ARGLWYDD, a dweud, "Onid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn ein mysg? Ni ddaw drwg arnom."

¹²Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

¹² Am hynny, o'ch achos chwi bydd Seion yn faes wedi ei aredig, a Jerwsalem yn garneddau, a mynydd y deml yn fynydd-dir coediog.
