¹Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not irksome, but for you it is safe.

¹ Bellach, gyfeillion, llawenhewch yn yr Arglwydd. Nid yw ysgrifennu'r un pethau atoch yn drafferth i mi, ac i chwi y mae'n ddiogelwch.

²Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision:

² Gwyliwch y cu373?n, gwyliwch y drwgweithredwyr, gwyliwch y rhai nad ydynt ond yn gwaedu'r cnawd.

³for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:

³ Oherwydd ni yw'r rhai gwir enwaededig, ni sy'n addoli trwy Ysbryd Duw, ac yn ymfalch�o yng Nghrist Iesu heb ymddiried yn y cnawd �

⁴though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh: if any other man thinketh to have confidence in the flesh, I yet more:

⁴ er bod gennyf, o'm rhan fy hun, le i ymddiried yn y cnawd hefyd. Os oes rhywun arall yn tybio fod ganddo le i ymddiried yn y cnawd, yr wyf fi'n fwy felly:

⁵circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

⁵ wedi enwaedu arnaf yr wythfed dydd, o hil Israel, o lwyth Benjamin, yn Hebr�wr o dras Hebrewyr; yn �l y Gyfraith, yn Pharisead;

⁶as touching zeal, persecuting the church; as touching the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.

⁶ o ran s�l, yn erlid yr eglwys; yn �l y cyfiawnder sy'n perthyn i'r Gyfraith, yn ddi-fai.

⁷Howbeit what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.

⁷ Ond beth bynnag oedd yn ennill i mi, yr wyf yn awr yn ei ystyried yn golled oherwydd Crist.

⁸Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,

⁸ A mwy na hynny hyd yn oed, yr wyf yn dal i gyfrif pob peth yn golled, ar bwys rhagoriaeth y profiad o adnabod Crist Iesu fy Arglwydd, yr un y collais bob peth o'i herwydd. Yr wyf yn cyfrif y cwbl yn ysbwriel, er mwyn imi ennill Crist

⁹and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, [even] that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

⁹ a'm cael ynddo ef, heb ddim cyfiawnder o'm heiddo fy hun sy'n tarddu o'r Gyfraith, ond hwnnw sydd trwy ffydd yng Nghrist, y cyfiawnder sydd o Dduw ar sail ffydd.

¹⁰that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

¹⁰ Rwyf am ei adnabod ef, a grym ei atgyfodiad, a chymdeithas ei ddioddefiadau, wrth gael fy nghydffurfio �'i farwolaeth ef,

¹¹if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead.

¹¹ fel y caf i rywfodd, gyrraedd yr atgyfodiad oddi wrth y meirw.

¹²Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus.

¹² Nid fy mod eisoes wedi cael hyn, neu fy mod eisoes yn berffaith, ond yr wyf yn prysuro ymlaen, er mwyn meddiannu'r peth hwnnw y cefais innau er ei fwyn fy meddiannu gan Grist Iesu.

¹³Brethren, I could not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing [I do], forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,

¹³ Gyfeillion, nid wyf yn ystyried fy mod wedi ei feddiannu; ond un peth, gan anghofio'r hyn sydd o'r tu cefn ac ymestyn yn daer at yr hyn sydd o'r tu blaen,

¹⁴I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ yr wyf yn cyflymu at y nod, i ennill y wobr y mae Duw yn fy ngalw i fyny ati yng Nghrist Iesu.

¹⁵Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, this also shall God reveal unto you:

¹⁵ Pob un ohonom, felly, sydd ymhlith y rhai aeddfed, dyma sut y dylai feddwl. Ond os ydych o wahanol feddwl am rywbeth, fe ddatguddia Duw hyn hefyd ichwi.

¹⁶only, whereunto we have attained, by that same [rule] let us walk.

¹⁶ Ond gadewch inni ymddwyn yn unol �'r safon yr ydym wedi ei chyrraedd.

¹⁷Brethren, be ye imitators together of me, and mark them that so walk even as ye have us for an ensample.

¹⁷ Byddwch yn gydefelychwyr ohonof fi, gyfeillion, a daliwch sylw ar y rhai sy'n byw yn �l yr esiampl sydd gennych ynom ni.

¹⁸For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

¹⁸ Oherwydd y mae llawer, yr wyf yn fynych wedi s�n wrthych amdanynt, ac yr wyf yn s�n eto yn awr gan wylo, sydd o ran eu ffordd o fyw yn elynion croes Crist.

¹⁹whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and [whose] glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

¹⁹ Distryw yw eu diwedd, y bol yw eu duw, ac yn eu cywilydd y mae eu gogoniant; pobl �'u bryd ar bethau daearol ydynt.

²⁰For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

²⁰ Oherwydd yn y nefoedd y mae ein dinasyddiaeth ni, ac oddi yno hefyd yr ydym yn disgwyl Gwaredwr, sef yr Arglwydd Iesu Grist.

²¹who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, [that it may be] conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

²¹ Bydd ef yn gweddnewid ein corff iselwael ni ac yn ei wneud yn unffurf �'i gorff gogoneddus ef, trwy'r nerth sydd yn ei alluogi i ddwyn pob peth dan ei awdurdod.
