¹And the word of Jehovah of hosts came [to me], saying,

¹ A daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf a dweud,

²Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

² "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Yr wyf yn eiddigeddus dros Seion, yn eiddigeddus iawn; � llid mawr yr wyf yn eiddigeddus drosti.'

³Thus saith Jehovah: I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth; and the mountain of Jehovah of hosts, The holy mountain.

³ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: 'Dychwelaf i Seion a thrigo yng nghanol Jerwsalem, a gelwir Jerwsalem, Y Ddinas Ffyddlon, a mynydd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, Y Mynydd Sanctaidd.'

⁴Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

⁴ Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Bydd hen wu375?r a gwragedd unwaith eto yn eistedd yn heolydd Jerwsalem, pob un � ffon yn ei law oherwydd ei henaint;

⁵And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

⁵ bydd strydoedd y ddinas yn llawn o fechgyn a genethod yn chwarae ar hyd y stryd.'

⁶Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith Jehovah of hosts.

⁶ Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Os yw'n rhyfedd yng ngolwg gweddill y bobl hyn yn y dyddiau hynny, a yw hefyd yn rhyfedd yn fy ngolwg i?' medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd.

⁷Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

⁷ Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Wele fi'n gwaredu fy mhobl o wledydd y dwyrain a'r gorllewin, a'u dwyn i drigo yng nghanol Jerwsalem;

⁸and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁸ a byddant yn bobl i mi, a minnau'n Dduw iddynt hwy, mewn gwirionedd a chyfiawnder.'

⁹Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets that were in the day that the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.

⁹ "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Chwi yn y dyddiau hyn sy'n clywed y geiriau hyn o enau'r proffwydi oedd yno pan osodwyd sylfeini tu375? ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, cryfhaer eich dwylo i adeiladu'r deml.

¹⁰For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in, because of the adversary: for I set all men every one against his neighbor.

¹⁰ Oherwydd cyn y dyddiau hynny nid oedd llogi ar ddyn nac ar anifail, ac ni chaed llonydd gan y gelyn i fynd a dod, ac yr oeddwn yn gyrru pob un ohonynt yn erbyn ei gilydd.

¹¹But now I will not be unto the remnant of this people as in the former days, saith Jehovah of hosts.

¹¹ Ond yn awr nid wyf yr un tuag at weddill y bobl hyn ag yn y dyddiau gynt,' medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd.

¹²For [there shall be] the seed of peace; the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.

¹² 'Oherwydd bydd hau mewn heddwch; rhydd y winwydden ei ffrwyth, y tir ei gynnyrch, a'r nefoedd ei gwlith; rhof yr holl bethau hyn yn feddiant i weddill y bobl hyn.

¹³And it shall come to pass that, as ye were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing. Fear not, [but] let your hands be strong.

¹³ Ac fel y buoch chwi, du375? Jwda a thu375? Israel, yn felltith ymysg y cenhedloedd, felly y'ch gwaredaf, a byddwch yn fendith. Peidiwch ag ofni, ond cryfhaer eich dwylo.'

¹⁴For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: As I thought to do evil unto you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I repented not;

¹⁴ "Oherwydd fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Fel y bwriedais wneud drwg i chwi pan gythruddodd eich hynafiaid fi,' medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, 'ac nid edifarheais,

¹⁵so again have I thought in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

¹⁵ felly y bwriadaf eto yn y dyddiau hyn wneud da i Jerwsalem ac i du375? Jwda; peidiwch ag ofni.

¹⁶These are the things that ye shall do: speak ye every man the truth with his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates;

¹⁶ Dyma'r peth a wnewch: dywedwch y gwir wrth eich gilydd; gwnewch farn uniawn a chywir yn eich pyrth;

¹⁷and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Jehovah.

¹⁷ peidiwch � dyfeisio �'ch meddyliau ddrwg i'ch gilydd, na charu llwon celwyddog, oherwydd yr wyf yn cas�u yr holl bethau hyn,' medd yr ARGLWYDD."

¹⁸And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying,

¹⁸ Daeth gair ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd ataf a dweud,

¹⁹Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth [month], and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love truth and peace.

¹⁹ "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Bydd ymprydiau'r pedwerydd mis, a'r pumed mis, a'r seithfed mis, a'r degfed mis yn troi'n dymhorau llawenydd a dedwyddwch, ac yn wyliau llawen i du375? Jwda; felly carwch wirionedd a heddwch.'

²⁰Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: [It shall] yet [come to pass], that there shall come peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities;

²⁰ "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Daw eto bobloedd a thrigolion dinasoedd mawrion;

²¹and the inhabitants of one [city] shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of hosts: I will go also.

²¹ bydd trigolion un dref yn mynd at drigolion tref arall ac yn dweud, Awn i geisio ffafr yr ARGLWYDD ac i ymofyn ag ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd; ac fe af finnau hefyd.

²²Yea, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Jehovah.

²² Daw pobloedd cryfion a chenhedloedd nerthol i ymofyn ag ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd yn Jerwsalem ac i geisio ffafr yr ARGLWYDD.'

²³Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In those days [it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

²³ Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Yn y dyddiau hynny bydd deg o blith cenhedloedd o bob iaith yn cydio yn llewys rhyw Iddew ac yn dweud, Awn gyda chwi, oherwydd clywsom fod Duw gyda chwi.'"
