¹And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

¹Kaj Li diris al mi:Ho filo de homo, starigxu sur viaj piedoj, kaj Mi parolos al vi.

²And the Spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spake unto me.

²Kaj kiam Li parolis al mi, venis en min spirito kaj starigis min sur miaj piedoj; kaj mi auxskultis Tiun, kiu parolis al mi.

³And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me even unto this very day.

³Kaj Li diris al mi:Ho filo de homo, Mi sendas vin al la Izraelidoj, al la defalintaj gentoj, kiuj defalis de Mi; ili kaj iliaj patroj perfidis Min gxis la nuna tago.

⁴And the children are impudent and stiffhearted: I do sent thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.

⁴La filoj havas malmolan vizagxon kaj obstinan koron; Mi sendas vin al ili, por ke vi diru al ili:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo.

⁵And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

⁵CXu ili auxskultos, cxu ili ne auxskultos (cxar ili estas domo malobeema), ili almenaux sciu, ke profeto estis inter ili.

⁶And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

⁶Kaj vi, ho filo de homo, ne timu ilin, kaj ne timu iliajn parolojn; kvankam ili estas por vi dornoj kaj pikiloj kaj vi logxas inter skorpioj, tamen ne timu iliajn vortojn, kaj ne sentu teruron antaux ilia vizagxo, cxar ili estas domo malobeema.

⁷And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

⁷Kaj diru al ili Miajn vortojn, cxu ili auxskultos aux cxu ili ne auxskultos, cxar ili estas malobeemaj.

⁸But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.

⁸Kaj vi, ho filo de homo, auxskultu tion, kion Mi diras al vi; ne estu malobeema, kiel la malobeema domo; malfermu vian busxon, kaj mangxu tion, kion Mi donos al vi.

⁹And when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

⁹Kaj mi ekvidis, jen mano estas etendita al mi, kaj en gxi estas skribrulajxo.

¹⁰And he spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

¹⁰Kaj Li disvolvis gxin antaux mi, kaj gxi estis skribkovrita interne kaj ekstere, kaj sur gxi estis skribitaj lamentoj, gxemoj, kaj veoj.
