¹Thus saith Jehovah, Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

²Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth it fast; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

²Felicxa estas la homo, kiu tion faras, kaj la homido, kiu sin tenas je tio, kaj observas sabaton, por ne malsanktigi gxin, kaj gardas sian manon, por fari nenian malbonon.

³Neither let the foreigner, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah will surely separate me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

³La fremdulo, kiu aligxis al la Eternulo, ne diru:La Eternulo elapartigos min de Sia popolo; kaj la euxnuko ne diru:Jen mi estas arbo velkinta.

⁴For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:

⁴CXar tiele diras la Eternulo pri la euxnukoj, kiuj observas Miajn sabatojn, elektas tion, kio placxas al Mi, kaj tenas sin je Mia interligo:

⁵Unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

⁵Al ili Mi donos en Mia domo kaj inter Miaj muroj lokon kaj nomon pli bonan ol al filoj kaj filinoj; Mi donos al ili nomon eternan, kiu ne ekstermigxos.

⁶Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant;

⁶Kaj la fremdulojn, kiuj aligxis al la Eternulo, por servi al Li kaj ami la nomon de la Eternulo, por estis Liaj sklavoj, cxiujn, kiuj observas sabaton, por ne malsanktigi gxin, kaj kiuj tenas sin je Mia interligo,

⁷even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

⁷Mi venigos sur Mian sanktan monton kaj gxojigos en Mia pregxejo; iliaj bruloferoj kaj bucxoferoj estos favore akceptataj sur Mia altaro; cxar Mia domo estos nomata pregxejo por cxiuj popoloj.

⁸The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him, besides his own that are gathered.

⁸La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, kiu kolektas la dispelitojn de Izrael, diras:Al liaj kolektitoj Mi kolektos ankoraux pli.

⁹All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, [yea], all ye beasts in the forest.

⁹Venu por mangxi, ho cxiuj bestoj kampaj, cxiuj bestoj arbaraj.

¹⁰His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

¹⁰Liaj gardistoj cxiuj estas blindaj, senkomprenaj; ili cxiuj estas hundoj mutaj, kiuj ne povas boji, dormemaj, kusxemaj, amantaj dormeti.

¹¹Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.

¹¹Tamen ili estas hundoj avidaj, kiuj ne povas satigxi; kaj ili estas pasxtistoj, kiuj nenion komprenas; cxiu iras sian vojon, cxiu siaflanke sercxas sian profiton, dirante:

¹²Come ye, [say they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, [a day] great beyond measure.
