1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.
1Kanto de suprenirado. El profundo mi vokas Vin, ho Eternulo.
2Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
2Mia Sinjoro, auxskultu mian vocxon; Viaj oreloj atentu la vocxon de mia petego.
3If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
3Se vi, ho Eternulo, kalkulus la pekojn, Kiu povus stari, ho mia Sinjoro?
4But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.
4Sed Vi estas pardonema, Por ke Vi estu respektata.
5I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.
5Mi esperis al la Eternulo, esperis mia animo, Kaj Lian vorton mi fidis.
6My soul [waiteth] for the Lord More than watchmen [wait] for the morning; [Yea, more than] watchmen for the morning.
6Mia animo atendas mian Sinjoron pli, Ol la gardantoj atendas la matenon, La gardantoj la matenon.
7O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.
7Izrael fidu la Eternulon; CXar cxe la Eternulo estas favorkoreco Kaj cxe Li estas granda liberigo.
8And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
8Kaj Li liberigos Izraelon De cxiuj liaj pekoj.
