Psalms

53

1For the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath. Maschil of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.
1Al la hxorestro. Por mahxalato. Instruo de David. La sensagxulo diris en sia koro:Dio ne ekzistas. Ili sentauxgigxis, kaj abomenigxis en la malvirto; Ekzistas neniu, kiu faras bonon.
2God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.
2Dio el la cxielo ekrigardis la homidojn, Por vidi, cxu ekzistas prudentulo, kiu sercxas Dion.
3Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3CXiu devojigxis, cxiuj malvirtigxis; Ekzistas neniu, faranta bonon, ne ekzistas ecx unu.
4Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, And call not upon God?
4CXu ne prudentigxos tiuj, kiuj faras malbonon, Kiuj mangxas mian popolon, kiel oni mangxas panon, Kaj kiuj ne vokas al Dio?
5There were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because of God hath rejected them.
5Tie ili forte ektimis, kie timindajxo ne ekzistis; CXar Dio disjxetis la ostojn de tiuj, kiuj vin siegxas; Vi hontigis ilin, cxar Dio ilin forpusxis.
6Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
6Ho, ke venu el Cion savo al Izrael! Kiam Dio revenigos Sian forkaptitan popolon, Tiam triumfos Jakob kaj gxojos Izrael.
