¹Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Jehovah thy God; for in the month of Abib Jehovah thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

¹Observe le mois des épis, et célèbre la Pâque en l'honneur de l'Eternel, ton Dieu; car c'est dans le mois des épis que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait sortir d'Egypte, pendant la nuit.

¹שמור את חדש האביב ועשית פסח ליהוה אלהיך כי בחדש האביב הוציאך יהוה אלהיך ממצרים לילה׃

²And thou shalt sacrifice the passover unto Jehovah thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Jehovah shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

²Tu sacrifieras la Pâque à l'Eternel, ton Dieu, tes victimes de menu et de gros bétail, dans le lieu que l'Eternel choisira pour y faire résider son nom.

²וזבחת פסח ליהוה אלהיך צאן ובקר במקום אשר יבחר יהוה לשכן שמו שם׃

³Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

³Pendant la fête, tu ne mangeras pas du pain levé, mais tu mangeras sept jours des pains sans levain, du pain d'affliction, car c'est avec précipitation que tu es sorti du pays d'Egypte: il en sera ainsi, afin que tu te souviennes toute ta vie du jour où tu es sorti du pays d'Egypte.

³לא תאכל עליו חמץ שבעת ימים תאכל עליו מצות לחם עני כי בחפזון יצאת מארץ מצרים למען תזכר את יום צאתך מארץ מצרים כל ימי חייך׃

⁴And there shall be no leaven seen with thee in all thy borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which thou sacrificest the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.

⁴On ne verra point chez toi de levain, dans toute l'étendue de ton pays, pendant sept jours; et aucune partie des victimes que tu sacrifieras le soir du premier jour ne sera gardée pendant la nuit jusqu'au matin.

⁴ולא יראה לך שאר בכל גבלך שבעת ימים ולא ילין מן הבשר אשר תזבח בערב ביום הראשון לבקר׃

⁵Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee;

⁵Tu ne pourras point sacrifier la Pâque dans l'un quelconque des lieux que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour demeure;

⁵לא תוכל לזבח את הפסח באחד שעריך אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃

⁶but at the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

⁶mais c'est dans le lieu que choisira l'Eternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom, que tu sacrifieras la Pâque, le soir, au coucher du soleil, à l'époque de ta sortie d'Egypte.

⁶כי אם אל המקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשכן שמו שם תזבח את הפסח בערב כבוא השמש מועד צאתך ממצרים׃

⁷And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.

⁷Tu feras cuire la victime, et tu la mangeras dans le lieu que choisira l'Eternel, ton Dieu. Et le matin, tu pourras t'en retourner et t'en aller vers tes tentes.

⁷ובשלת ואכלת במקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו ופנית בבקר והלכת לאהליך׃

⁸Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah thy God; thou shalt do no work [therein].

⁸Pendant six jours, tu mangeras des pains sans levain; et le septième jour, il y aura une assemblée solennelle en l'honneur de l'Eternel, ton Dieu: tu ne feras aucun ouvrage.

⁸ששת ימים תאכל מצות וביום השביעי עצרת ליהוה אלהיך לא תעשה מלאכה׃

⁹Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: from the time thou beginnest to put the sickle to the standing grain shalt thou begin to number seven weeks.

⁹Tu compteras sept semaines; dès que la faucille sera mise dans les blés, tu commenceras à compter sept semaines.

⁹שבעה שבעת תספר לך מהחל חרמש בקמה תחל לספר שבעה שבעות׃

¹⁰And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto Jehovah thy God with a tribute of a freewill-offering of thy hand, which thou shalt give, according as Jehovah thy God blesseth thee:

¹⁰Puis tu célébreras la fête des semaines, et tu feras des offrandes volontaires, selon les bénédictions que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, t'aura accordées.

¹⁰ועשית חג שבעות ליהוה אלהיך מסת נדבת ידך אשר תתן כאשר יברכך יהוה אלהיך׃

¹¹and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

¹¹Tu te réjouiras devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, choisira pour y faire résider son nom, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, le Lévite qui sera dans tes portes, et l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve qui seront au milieu de toi.

¹¹ושמחת לפני יהוה אלהיך אתה ובנך ובתך ועבדך ואמתך והלוי אשר בשעריך והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשר בקרבך במקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשכן שמו שם׃

¹²And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

¹²Tu te souviendras que tu as été esclave en Egypte, et tu observeras et mettras ces lois en pratique.

¹²וזכרת כי עבד היית במצרים ושמרת ועשית את החקים האלה׃

¹³Thou shalt keep the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in from thy threshing-floor and from thy winepress:

¹³חג הסכת תעשה לך שבעת ימים באספך מגרנך ומיקבך׃

¹⁴and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

¹⁴Tu te réjouiras à cette fête, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, et le Lévite, l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve qui seront dans tes portes.

¹⁴ושמחת בחגך אתה ובנך ובתך ועבדך ואמתך והלוי והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשר בשעריך׃

¹⁵Seven days shalt thou keep a feast unto Jehovah thy God in the place which Jehovah shall choose; because Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the work of thy hands, and thou shalt be altogether joyful.

¹⁵Tu célébreras la fête pendant sept jours en l'honneur de l'Eternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu que choisira l'Eternel; car l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te bénira dans toutes tes récoltes et dans tout le travail de tes mains, et tu te livreras entièrement à la joie.

¹⁵שבעת ימים תחג ליהוה אלהיך במקום אשר יבחר יהוה כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל תבואתך ובכל מעשה ידיך והיית אך שמח׃

¹⁶Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Jehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles; and they shall not appear before Jehovah empty:

¹⁶Trois fois par année, tous les mâles d'entre vous se présenteront devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira: à la fête des pains sans levain, à la fête des semaines, et à la fête des tabernacles. On ne paraîtra point devant l'Eternel les mains vides.

¹⁶שלוש פעמים בשנה יראה כל זכורך את פני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשר יבחר בחג המצות ובחג השבעות ובחג הסכות ולא יראה את פני יהוה ריקם׃

¹⁷every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee.

¹⁷Chacun donnera ce qu'il pourra, selon les bénédictions que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, lui aura accordées.

¹⁷איש כמתנת ידו כברכת יהוה אלהיך אשר נתן לך׃

¹⁸Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, according to thy tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.

¹⁸Tu établiras des juges et des magistrats dans toutes les villes que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne, selon tes tribus; et ils jugeront le peuple avec justice.

¹⁸שפטים ושטרים תתן לך בכל שעריך אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לשבטיך ושפטו את העם משפט צדק׃

¹⁹Thou shalt not wrest justice: thou shalt not respect persons; neither shalt thou take a bribe; for a bribe doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

¹⁹Tu ne porteras atteinte à aucun droit, tu n'auras point égard à l'apparence des personnes, et tu ne recevras point de présent, car les présents aveuglent les yeux des sages et corrompent les paroles des justes.

¹⁹לא תטה משפט לא תכיר פנים ולא תקח שחד כי השחד יעור עיני חכמים ויסלף דברי צדיקם׃

²⁰That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

²⁰Tu suivras ponctuellement la justice, afin que tu vives et que tu possèdes le pays que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne.

²⁰צדק צדק תרדף למען תחיה וירשת את הארץ אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃

²¹Thou shalt not plant thee an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Jehovah thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

²¹Tu ne fixeras aucune idole de bois à côté de l'autel que tu élèveras à l'Eternel, ton Dieu.

²¹לא תטע לך אשרה כל עץ אצל מזבח יהוה אלהיך אשר תעשה לך׃

²²Neither shalt thou set thee up a pillar; which Jehovah thy God hateth.

²²Tu ne dresseras point des statues, qui sont en aversion à l'Eternel, ton Dieu.

²²ולא תקים לך מצבה אשר שנא יהוה אלהיך׃
