¹Thus saith Jehovah, Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

¹Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Observez ce qui est droit, et pratiquez ce qui est juste; Car mon salut ne tardera pas à venir, Et ma justice à se manifester.

¹כה אמר יהוה שמרו משפט ועשו צדקה כי קרובה ישועתי לבוא וצדקתי להגלות׃

²Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth it fast; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

²Heureux l'homme qui fait cela, Et le fils de l'homme qui y demeure ferme, Gardant le sabbat, pour ne point le profaner, Et veillant sur sa main, pour ne commettre aucun mal!

²אשרי אנוש יעשה זאת ובן אדם יחזיק בה שמר שבת מחללו ושמר ידו מעשות כל רע׃

³Neither let the foreigner, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah will surely separate me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

³Que l'étranger qui s'attache à l'Eternel ne dise pas: L'Eternel me séparera de son peuple! Et que l'eunuque ne dise pas: Voici, je suis un arbre sec!

³ואל יאמר בן הנכר הנלוה אל יהוה לאמר הבדל יבדילני יהוה מעל עמו ואל יאמר הסריס הן אני עץ יבש׃

⁴For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:

⁴Car ainsi parle l'Eternel: Aux eunuques qui garderont mes sabbats, Qui choisiront ce qui m'est agréable, Et qui persévéreront dans mon alliance,

⁴כי כה אמר יהוה לסריסים אשר ישמרו את שבתותי ובחרו באשר חפצתי ומחזיקים בבריתי׃

⁵Unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

⁵Je donnerai dans ma maison et dans mes murs une place et un nom Préférables à des fils et à des filles; Je leur donnerai un nom éternel, Qui ne périra pas.

⁵ונתתי להם בביתי ובחומתי יד ושם טוב מבנים ומבנות שם עולם אתן לו אשר לא יכרת׃

⁶Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant;

⁶Et les étrangers qui s'attacheront à l'Eternel pour le servir, Pour aimer le nom de l'Eternel, Pour être ses serviteurs, Tous ceux qui garderont le sabbat, pour ne point le profaner, Et qui persévéreront dans mon alliance,

⁶ובני הנכר הנלוים על יהוה לשרתו ולאהבה את שם יהוה להיות לו לעבדים כל שמר שבת מחללו ומחזיקים בבריתי׃

⁷even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

⁷Je les amènerai sur ma montagne sainte, Et je les réjouirai dans ma maison de prière; Leurs holocaustes et leurs sacrifices seront agréés sur mon autel; Car ma maison sera appelée une maison de prière pour tous les peuples.

⁷והביאותים אל הר קדשי ושמחתים בבית תפלתי עולתיהם וזבחיהם לרצון על מזבחי כי ביתי בית תפלה יקרא לכל העמים׃

⁸The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him, besides his own that are gathered.

⁸Le Seigneur, l'Eternel, parle, Lui qui rassemble les exilés d'Israël: Je réunirai d'autres peuples à lui, aux siens déjà rassemblés.

⁸נאם אדני יהוה מקבץ נדחי ישראל עוד אקבץ עליו לנקבציו׃

⁹All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, [yea], all ye beasts in the forest.

⁹Vous toutes, bêtes des champs, Venez pour manger, vous toutes, bêtes de la forêt!

⁹כל חיתו שדי אתיו לאכל כל חיתו ביער׃

¹⁰His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

¹⁰Ses gardiens sont tous aveugles, sans intelligence; Ils sont tous des chiens muets, incapables d'aboyer; Ils ont des rêveries, se tiennent couchés, Aiment à sommeiller.

¹⁰צפו עורים כלם לא ידעו כלם כלבים אלמים לא יוכלו לנבח הזים שכבים אהבי לנום׃

¹¹Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.

¹¹Et ce sont des chiens voraces, insatiables; Ce sont des bergers qui ne savent rien comprendre; Tous suivent leur propre voie, Chacun selon son intérêt, jusqu'au dernier: -

¹¹והכלבים עזי נפש לא ידעו שבעה והמה רעים לא ידעו הבין כלם לדרכם פנו איש לבצעו מקצהו׃

¹²Come ye, [say they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, [a day] great beyond measure.

¹²Venez, je vais chercher du vin, Et nous boirons des liqueurs fortes! Nous en ferons autant demain, Et beaucoup plus encore! -

¹²אתיו אקחה יין ונסבאה שכר והיה כזה יום מחר גדול יתר מאד׃
