¹And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

¹Je regardai, et voici, l'agneau se tenait sur la montagne de Sion, et avec lui cent quarante-quatre mille personnes, qui avaient son nom et le nom de son Père écrits sur leurs fronts.

¹וארא והנה שה עמד על הר ציון ועמו מאת אלף וארבעים וארבעה אלפים הנשאים שם אביו כתוב על מצחותם׃

²And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard [was] as [the voice] of harpers harping with their harps:

²Et j'entendis du ciel une voix, comme un bruit de grosses eaux, comme le bruit d'un grand tonnerre; et la voix que j'entendis était comme celle de joueurs de harpes jouant de leurs harpes.

²ואשמע קול מן השמים כקול מים רבים וכקול רעם גדול ואשמע קול תפשי כנור המנגנים בכנורותיהם׃

³and they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, [even] they that had been purchased out of the earth.

³Et ils chantent un cantique nouveau devant le trône, et devant les quatre êtres vivants et les vieillards. Et personne ne pouvait apprendre le cantique, si ce n'est les cent quarante-quatre mille, qui avaient été rachetés de la terre.

³וישירו כשיר חדש לפני הכסא ולפני ארבע החיות ולפני הזקנים ואין איש אשר יכל ללמד את השיר זולתי מאת האלף וארבעים וארבעת האלפים ההם אשר נקנו מן הארץ׃

⁴These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These [are] they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, [to be] the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb.

⁴Ce sont ceux qui ne se sont pas souillés avec des femmes, car ils sont vierges; ils suivent l'agneau partout où il va. Ils ont été rachetés d'entre les hommes, comme des prémices pour Dieu et pour l'agneau;

⁴אלה הם אשר לא נגאלו בנשים כי בתולות המה אלה הם ההלכים אחרי השה אל כל אשר ילך אלה נקנו מתוך בני האדם לראשית בכורים לאלהים ולשה׃

⁵And in their mouth was found no lie: they are without blemish.

⁵et dans leur bouche il ne s'est point trouvé de mensonge, car ils sont irrépréhensibles.

⁵ותרמית לא נמצאה בפיהם כי תמימים המה לפני כסא האלהים׃

⁶And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people;

⁶Je vis un autre ange qui volait par le milieu du ciel, ayant un Evangile éternel, pour l'annoncer aux habitants de la terre, à toute nation, à toute tribu, à toute langue, et à tout peuple.

⁶וארא מלאך אחר מעופף במרום הרקיע אשר היה לו בשורת עולם לבשר את ישבי הארץ ואת כל גוי ונשפחה ולשון ועם׃

⁷and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.

⁷Il disait d'une voix forte: Craignez Dieu, et donnez-lui gloire, car l'heure de son jugement est venue; et adorez celui qui a fait le ciel, et la terre, et la mer, et les sources d'eaux.

⁷ויאמר בקול גדול יראו את האלהים והבו לו כבוד כי באה עת משפטו והשתחוו לעשה שמים וארץ את הים ומעינות המים׃

⁸And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

⁸Et un autre, un second ange suivit, en disant: Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande, qui a abreuvé toutes les nations du vin de la fureur de son impudicité!

⁸ומלאך אחר בא אחריו ויאמר נפלה נפלה בבל העיר הגדולה כי השקתה כל הגוים מיין חמת תזנתה׃

⁹And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand,

⁹Et un autre, un troisième ange les suivit, en disant d'une voix forte: Si quelqu'un adore la bête et son image, et reçoit une marque sur son front ou sur sa main,

⁹ומלאך שלישי בא אחריהם ויאמר בקול גדול כל אשר ישתחוה לפני החיה ולפני צלמה ונשא את תוה על מצחו או על ידו׃

¹⁰he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

¹⁰il boira, lui aussi, du vin de la fureur de Dieu, versé sans mélange dans la coupe de sa colère, et il sera tourmenté dans le feu et le soufre, devant les saints anges et devant l'agneau.

¹⁰גם הוא שתה ישתה מיין חמת אלהים יין בלתי מהול הנמסך בכוס זעמו ויענה באש וגפרית לפני המלאכים הקדשים ולפני השה׃

¹¹and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.

¹¹Et la fumée de leur tourment monte aux siècles des siècles; et ils n'ont de repos ni jour ni nuit, ceux qui adorent la bête et son image, et quiconque reçoit la marque de son nom.

¹¹ועשן ענוים יעלה לעולמי עד ולא ימצאו מנוחה יומם ולילה המשתחוים לחיה ולצלמה ואשר ישא את תו שמה׃

¹²Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

¹²C'est ici la persévérance des saints, qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi de Jésus.

¹²בזה סבלנות הקדשים בזה השמרים את מצות האלהים ואת אמונת ישוע׃

¹³And I heard the voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

¹³Et j'entendis du ciel une voix qui disait: Ecris: Heureux dès à présent les morts qui meurent dans le Seigneur! Oui, dit l'Esprit, afin qu'ils se reposent de leurs travaux, car leurs oeuvres les suivent.

¹³ואשמע קול מן השמים מדבר אלי כתב אשרי המתים אשר ימותו באדון מעתה אמנם כן אמר הרוח למען ינוחו מעמלם ומעשיהם הלך ילכו אחריהם׃

¹⁴And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud [I saw] one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle.

¹⁴Je regardai, et voici, il y avait une nuée blanche, et sur la nuée était assis quelqu'un qui ressemblait à un fils d'homme, ayant sur sa tête une couronne d'or, et dans sa main une faucille tranchante.

¹⁴וארא והנה ענן בהיר ועל הענן ישב כדמות בן אדם ועל ראשו עטרת זהב ובידו מגל מלטש׃

¹⁵And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

¹⁵Et un autre ange sortit du temple, criant d'une voix forte à celui qui était assis sur la nuée: Lance ta faucille, et moissonne; car l'heure de moissonner est venue, car la moisson de la terre est mûre.

¹⁵ומלאך אחר יצא מן ההיכל ויזעק בקול גדול אל הישב על הענן לאמר שלח מגלך וקצר כי באה העת לקצר כי יבש קציר הארץ׃

¹⁶And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.

¹⁶Et celui qui était assis sur la nuée jeta sa faucille sur la terre. Et la terre fut moissonnée.

¹⁶וישלח הישב בענן את מגלו בארץ והארץ נקצרה׃

¹⁷Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

¹⁷Et un autre ange sortit du temple qui est dans le ciel, ayant, lui aussi, une faucille tranchante.

¹⁷ומלאך אחר יצא מן ההיכל אשר בשמים וגם לו מגל מלטש בידו׃

¹⁸And another angel came out from the altar, he that hath power over fire; and he called with a great voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

¹⁸Et un autre ange, qui avait autorité sur le feu, sortit de l'autel, et s'adressa d'une voix forte à celui qui avait la faucille tranchante, disant: Lance ta faucille tranchante, et vendange les grappes de la vigne de la terre; car les raisins de la terre sont mûrs.

¹⁸ויצא מלאך אחר מן המזבח וממשלתו על האש ויקרא קול גדול אל אשר בידו המגל המלטש לאמר שלח מגלך המלטש ובצר את גפן הארץ כי בשלו ענביהם׃

¹⁹And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the winepress, the great [winepress], of the wrath of God.

¹⁹Et l'ange jeta sa faucille sur la terre. Et il vendangea la vigne de la terre, et jeta la vendange dans la grande cuve de la colère de Dieu.

¹⁹וינף המלאך את מגלו על הארץ ויבצר את אשכלת גפן הארץ וישליכם בגת חמת אלהים הגדולה׃

²⁰And the winepress are trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

²⁰Et la cuve fut foulée hors de la ville; et du sang sortit de la cuve, jusqu'aux mors des chevaux, sur une étendue de mille six cents stades.

²⁰ותדרך הגת מחוץ לעיר ויצא דם מן הגת עד רסני הסוסים דרך אלף ושש מאות ריס׃
