1And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
1Et il me montra un fleuve d'eau de la vie, limpide comme du cristal, qui sortait du trône de Dieu et de l'agneau.
1ויראני נחל של מים חיים זך מבהיק כעין הקרח יצא מכסא האלהים והשה׃
2in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve [manner of] fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2Au milieu de la place de la ville et sur les deux bords du fleuve, il y avait un arbre de vie, produisant douze fois des fruits, rendant son fruit chaque mois, et dont les feuilles servaient à la guérison des nations.
2ובתוך רחוב העיר ואל שפת הנחל מזה ומזה עץ חיים עשה פרי שנים עשר כי מדי חדש בחדשו יתן את פריו ועלה העץ לתרופת הגוים׃
3And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;
3Il n'y aura plus d'anathème. Le trône de Dieu et de l'agneau sera dans la ville; ses serviteurs le serviront
3וכל חרם לא יהיה עוד וכסא האלהים והשה יהיה בה ועבדיו ישרתהו׃
4and they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] on their foreheads.
4et verront sa face, et son nom sera sur leurs fronts.
4והמה יראו את פניו ושמו על מצחותם׃
5And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
5Il n'y aura plus de nuit; et ils n'auront besoin ni de lampe ni de lumière, parce que le Seigneur Dieu les éclairera. Et ils régneront aux siècles des siècles.
5ולילה לא יהיה עוד ולא יצטרכו עוד לאור נר ולאור שמש כי יהוה אלהים הוא יאיר להם וימלכו עד עולמי עולמים׃
6And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.
6Et il me dit: Ces paroles sont certaines et véritables; et le Seigneur, le Dieu des esprits des prophètes, a envoyé son ange pour montrer à ses serviteurs les choses qui doivent arriver bientôt.
6ויאמר אלי הדברים האלה אמתים ונאמנים הם ויהוה אלהי הנביאים הקדשים שלח את מלאכו להראות את עבדיו את אשר היה יהיה במהרה׃
7And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.
7Et voici, je viens bientôt. -Heureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre!
7הנני בא מהר אשרי השמר את דברי נבואת הספר הזה׃
8And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.
8C'est moi Jean, qui ai entendu et vu ces choses. Et quand j'eus entendu et vu, je tombai aux pieds de l'ange qui me les montrait, pour l'adorer.
8ואני יוחנן הוא הראה אלה ושמעם ויהי כשמעי וכראותי ואפל לפני רגלי המלאך אשר הראני את אלה להשתחות לו׃
9And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.
9Mais il me dit: Garde-toi de le faire! Je suis ton compagnon de service, et celui de tes frères les prophètes, et de ceux qui gardent les paroles de ce livre. Adore Dieu.
9ויאמר אלי ראה אל תעשה זאת כי עבד כמוך אנכי וחבר לך ולאחיך הנביאים ולשמרים את דברי הספר הזה לאלהים השתחוה׃
10And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.
10Et il me dit: Ne scelle point les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre. Car le temps est proche.
10ויאמר אלי אל תחתם את דברי נבואת הספר הזה כי קרוב המועד׃
11He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.
11Que celui qui est injuste soit encore injuste, que celui qui est souillé se souille encore; et que le juste pratique encore la justice, et que celui qui est saint se sanctifie encore.
11החומס יוסיף לחמס והטמא יוסיף להטמא והצדיק יוסיף להצדק והקדוש יוסיף להתקדש׃
12Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.
12Voici, je viens bientôt, et ma rétribution est avec moi, pour rendre à chacun selon ce qu'est son oeuvre.
12והנני בא מהר ושכרי אתי לשלם לכל איש כמעשהו׃
13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
13Je suis l'alpha et l'oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.
13אני האלף והתו הראש והסוף הראשון והאחרון׃
14Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right [to come] to the tree of life, and my enter in by the gates into the city.
14Heureux ceux qui lavent leurs robes, afin d'avoir droit à l'arbre de vie, et d'entrer par les portes dans la ville!
14אשרי העשים את מצותיו למען תהיה ממשלתם בעץ החיים ובאו העירה דרך השערים׃
15Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
15Dehors les chiens, les enchanteurs, les impudiques, les meurtriers, les idolâtres, et quiconque aime et pratique le mensonge!
15ומחוץ לה הכלבים והמכשפים והזנים והמרצחים ועבדי האלילים וכל אהב שקר ועשהו׃
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.
16Moi, Jésus, j'ai envoyé mon ange pour vous attester ces choses dans les Eglises. Je suis le rejeton et la postérité de David, l'étoile brillante du matin.
16אני ישוע שלחתי את מלאכי להעיד לכם את אלה בפני הקהלות אנכי שרש דוד ותולדתו כוכב נגה השחר׃
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.
17Et l'Esprit et l'épouse disent: Viens. Et que celui qui entend dise: Viens. Et que celui qui a soif vienne; que celui qui veut, prenne de l'eau de la vie, gratuitement.
17והרוח והכלה אמרים בא והשמע יאמר בא והצמא יבוא והחפץ יקח מים חיים חנם׃
18I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:
18Je le déclare à quiconque entend les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre: Si quelqu'un y ajoute quelque chose, Dieu le frappera des fléaux décrits dans ce livre;
18מעיד אני בכל השמע דברי נבואת הספר הזה אם יוסיף איש עליהם יוסיף עליו האלהים את המכות הכתובות בספר הזה׃
19and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
19et si quelqu'un retranche quelque chose des paroles du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu retranchera sa part de l'arbre de la vie et de la ville sainte, décrits dans ce livre.
19ואם יגרע איש מדברי ספר הנבואה הזאת יגרע האלהים את לחקו מעץ החיים ומעיר הקדש הכתובים בספר הזה׃
20He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.
20Celui qui atteste ces choses dit: Oui, je viens bientôt. Amen! Viens, Seigneur Jésus!
20המעיד את אלה אמר אמנם כן אני בא מהר אמן באה נא האדון ישוע׃
21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
21Que la grâce du Seigneur Jésus soit avec tous!
21חסד אדנינו ישוע המשיח עם כלכם כל הקדושים אמן׃
