¹The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. [Thus] saith Jehovah, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:

¹Oracle, parole de l'Eternel sur Israël. Ainsi parle l'Eternel, qui a étendu les cieux et fondé la terre, Et qui a formé l'esprit de l'homme au dedans de lui:

¹משא דבר יהוה על ישראל נאם יהוה נטה שמים ויסד ארץ ויצר רוח אדם בקרבו׃

²behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.

²Voici, je ferai de Jérusalem une coupe d'étourdissement Pour tous les peuples d'alentour, Et aussi pour Juda dans le siège de Jérusalem.

²הנה אנכי שם את ירושלם סף רעל לכל העמים סביב וגם על יהודה יהיה במצור על ירושלם׃

³And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

³En ce jour-là, je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre pesante pour tous les peuples; Tous ceux qui la soulèveront seront meurtris; Et toutes les nations de la terre s'assembleront contre elle.

³והיה ביום ההוא אשים את ירושלם אבן מעמסה לכל העמים כל עמסיה שרוט ישרטו ונאספו עליה כל גויי הארץ׃

⁴In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.

⁴En ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel, Je frapperai d'étourdissement tous les chevaux, Et de délire ceux qui les monteront; Mais j'aurai les yeux ouverts sur la maison de Juda, Quand je frapperai d'aveuglement tous les chevaux des peuples.

⁴ביום ההוא נאם יהוה אכה כל סוס בתמהון ורכבו בשגעון ועל בית יהודה אפקח את עיני וכל סוס העמים אכה בעורון׃

⁵And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God.

⁵Les chefs de Juda diront en leur coeur: Les habitants de Jérusalem sont notre force, Par l'Eternel des armées, leur Dieu.

⁵ואמרו אלפי יהודה בלבם אמצה לי ישבי ירושלם ביהוה צבאות אלהיהם׃

⁶In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and [they of] Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

⁶En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda Comme un foyer ardent parmi du bois, Comme une torche enflammée parmi des gerbes; Ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples d'alentour, Et Jérusalem restera à sa place, à Jérusalem.

⁶ביום ההוא אשים את אלפי יהודה ככיור אש בעצים וכלפיד אש בעמיר ואכלו על ימין ועל שמאול את כל העמים סביב וישבה ירושלם עוד תחתיה בירושלם׃

⁷Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.

⁷L'Eternel sauvera d'abord les tentes de Juda, Afin que la gloire de la maison de David, La gloire des habitants de Jérusalem ne s'élève pas au-dessus de Juda.

⁷והושיע יהוה את אהלי יהודה בראשנה למען לא תגדל תפארת בית דויד ותפארת ישב ירושלם על יהודה׃

⁸In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them.

⁸En ce jour-là, l'Eternel protégera les habitants de Jérusalem, Et le faible parmi eux sera dans ce jour comme David; La maison de David sera comme Dieu, Comme l'ange de l'Eternel devant eux.

⁸ביום ההוא יגן יהוה בעד יושב ירושלם והיה הנכשל בהם ביום ההוא כדויד ובית דויד כאלהים כמלאך יהוה לפניהם׃

⁹And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

⁹En ce jour-là, Je m'efforcerai de détruire toutes les nations Qui viendront contre Jérusalem.

⁹והיה ביום ההוא אבקש להשמיד את כל הגוים הבאים על ירושלם׃

¹⁰And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

¹⁰Alors je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur les habitants de Jérusalem Un esprit de grâce et de supplication, Et ils tourneront les regards vers moi, celui qu'ils ont percé. Ils pleureront sur lui comme on pleure sur un fils unique, Ils pleureront amèrement sur lui comme on pleure sur un premier-né.

¹⁰ושפכתי על בית דויד ועל יושב ירושלם רוח חן ותחנונים והביטו אלי את אשר דקרו וספדו עליו כמספד על היחיד והמר עליו כהמר על הבכור׃

¹¹In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

¹¹En ce jour-là, le deuil sera grand à Jérusalem, Comme le deuil d'Hadadrimmon dans la vallée de Meguiddon.

¹¹ביום ההוא יגדל המספד בירושלם כמספד הדד רמון בבקעת מגדון׃

¹²And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

¹²Le pays sera dans le deuil, chaque famille séparément: La famille de la maison de David séparément, et les femmes à part; La famille de la maison de Nathan séparément, et les femmes à part;

¹²וספדה הארץ משפחות משפחות לבד משפחת בית דויד לבד ונשיהם לבד משפחת בית נתן לבד ונשיהם לבד׃

¹³the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;

¹³La famille de la maison de Lévi séparément, et les femmes à part; La famille de Schimeï séparément, et les femmes à part;

¹³משפחת בית לוי לבד ונשיהם לבד משפחת השמעי לבד ונשיהם לבד׃

¹⁴all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

¹⁴Toutes les autres familles, chaque famille séparément, Et les femmes à part.

¹⁴כל המשפחות הנשארות משפחת משפחת לבד ונשיהם לבד׃
