1And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
1Je levai de nouveau les yeux et je regardai, et voici, quatre chars sortaient d'entre deux montagnes; et les montagnes étaient des montagnes d'airain.
1ואשב ואשא עיני ואראה והנה ארבע מרכבות יצאות מבין שני ההרים וההרים הרי נחשת׃
2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
2Au premier char il y avait des chevaux roux, au second char des chevaux noirs,
2במרכבה הראשנה סוסים אדמים ובמרכבה השנית סוסים שחרים׃
3and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses.
3au troisième char des chevaux blancs, et au quatrième char des chevaux tachetés, rouges.
3ובמרכבה השלשית סוסים לבנים ובמרכבה הרבעית סוסים ברדים אמצים׃
4Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
4Je pris la parole et je dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi: Qu'est-ce, mon seigneur?
4ואען ואמר אל המלאך הדבר בי מה אלה אדני׃
5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
5L'ange me répondit: Ce sont les quatre vents des cieux, qui sortent du lieu où ils se tenaient devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.
5ויען המלאך ויאמר אלי אלה ארבע רחות השמים יוצאות מהתיצב על אדון כל הארץ׃
6[The chariot] wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country.
6Les chevaux noirs attelés à l'un des chars se dirigent vers le pays du septentrion, et les blancs vont après eux; les tachetés se dirigent vers le pays du midi.
6אשר בה הסוסים השחרים יצאים אל ארץ צפון והלבנים יצאו אל אחריהם והברדים יצאו אל ארץ התימן׃
7And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
7Les rouges sortent et demandent à aller parcourir la terre. L'ange leur dit: Allez, parcourez la terre! Et ils parcoururent la terre.
7והאמצים יצאו ויבקשו ללכת להתהלך בארץ ויאמר לכו התהלכו בארץ ותתהלכנה בארץ׃
8Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
8Il m'appela, et il me dit: Vois, ceux qui se dirigent vers le pays du septentrion font reposer ma colère sur le pays du septentrion.
8ויזעק אתי וידבר אלי לאמר ראה היוצאים אל ארץ צפון הניחו את רוחי בארץ צפון׃
9And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
9La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
9ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
10Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;
10Tu recevras les dons des captifs, Heldaï, Tobija et Jedaeja, et tu iras toi-même ce jour-là, tu iras dans la maison de Josias, fils de Sophonie, où ils se sont rendus en arrivant de Babylone.
10לקוח מאת הגולה מחלדי ומאת טוביה ומאת ידעיה ובאת אתה ביום ההוא ובאת בית יאשיה בן צפניה אשר באו מבבל׃
11yea, take [of them] silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
11Tu prendras de l'argent et de l'or, et tu en feras des couronnes, que tu mettras sur la tête de Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur.
11ולקחת כסף וזהב ועשית עטרות ושמת בראש יהושע בן יהוצדק הכהן הגדול׃
12and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;
12Tu lui diras: Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Voici, un homme, dont le nom est germe, germera dans son lieu, et bâtira le temple de l'Eternel.
12ואמרת אליו לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות לאמר הנה איש צמח שמו ומתחתיו יצמח ובנה את היכל יהוה׃
13even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
13Il bâtira le temple de l'Eternel; il portera les insignes de la majesté; il s'assiéra et dominera sur son trône, il sera sacrificateur sur son trône, et une parfaite union régnera entre l'un et l'autre.
13והוא יבנה את היכל יהוה והוא ישא הוד וישב ומשל על כסאו והיה כהן על כסאו ועצת שלום תהיה בין שניהם׃
14And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
14Les couronnes seront pour Hélem, Tobija et Jedaeja, et pour Hen, fils de Sophonie, un souvenir dans le temple de l'Eternel.
14והעטרת תהיה לחלם ולטוביה ולידעיה ולחן בן צפניה לזכרון בהיכל יהוה׃
15And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.
15Ceux qui sont éloignés viendront et travailleront au temple de l'Eternel; et vous saurez que l'Eternel des armées m'a envoyé vers vous. Cela arrivera, si vous écoutez la voix de l'Eternel, votre Dieu.
15ורחוקים יבאו ובנו בהיכל יהוה וידעתם כי יהוה צבאות שלחני אליכם והיה אם שמוע תשמעון בקול יהוה אלהיכם׃
