¹A Song of Ascents. They that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.

¹Nyanyian ziarah. Orang yang percaya kepada TUHAN, adalah seperti Bukit Sion yang kukuh tak tergoyahkan, dan bertahan selama-lamanya.

²As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore.

²Seperti gunung-gunung melindungi Yerusalem, demikianlah TUHAN melindungi umat-Nya sekarang dan selama-lamanya.

³For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity.

³Orang jahat tidak akan terus berkuasa di tanah pusaka orang jujur, supaya orang baik tidak ikut berbuat jahat.

⁴Do good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts.

⁴Ya TUHAN, berbuatlah baik kepada orang baik, kepada orang yang tulus hati.

⁵But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.

⁵Tetapi orang yang berbuat curang kiranya dihukum TUHAN bersama orang jahat. Semoga umat-Mu sejahtera!
