1Untuk pemimpin kor. Menurut lagu: Jangan memusnahkan. Mazmur Asaf. Nyanyian. (75-2) Kami menyembah Engkau, ya Allah, kami bersyukur kepada-Mu dan mewartakan karya-Mu yang mengagumkan.
2When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly.
2(75-3) Allah berkata, "Pada waktu yang Kutentukan, Aku akan menghakimi dengan adil.
3The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. Selah
3(75-4) Bila bumi goncang dengan semua penduduknya Akulah yang mengokohkan tiang-tiangnya."
4I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
4(75-5) Kepada orang yang suka membual, Aku berkata supaya jangan lagi membual.
5Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck.
5(75-6) Dan kepada orang jahat, supaya jangan lagi bersikap congkak. Jangan memegahkan diri atau bicara dengan sombong.
6For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, [cometh] lifting up.
6(75-7) Sebab penghakiman tidak datang dari timur atau barat tidak juga dari utara atau selatan.
7But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.
7(75-8) Tetapi Allah sendirilah yang menghakimi, Ia merendahkan yang satu dan meninggikan yang lain.
8For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.
8(75-9) Kemarahan TUHAN seperti piala di tangan-Nya, piala itu berisi air anggur keras. Allah menuangkan isinya, semua penjahat di bumi harus meminumnya sampai habis.
9But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
9(75-10) Tetapi aku akan tetap mewartakan Allah Yakub, menyanyikan pujian-pujian bagi-Nya.
10All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
10(75-11) Ia akan mematahkan kekuatan orang jahat, sedangkan orang baik bertambah kuat.
