1And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
1Aku mendapat penglihatan yang lain. Kali ini kulihat empat buah kereta perang keluar dari antara dua gunung perunggu.
2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
2Kereta-kereta itu ditarik oleh pasangan-pasangan kuda, yang pertama kuda merah, yang kedua kuda hitam,
3and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses.
3yang ketiga kuda putih dan yang keempat kuda yang belang.
4Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
4Aku bertanya kepada malaikat itu, "Tuan, apa artinya kereta-kereta perang ini?"
5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
5Ia menjawab, "Mereka berangkat ke empat jurusan setelah menghadap TUHAN semesta alam.
6[The chariot] wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country.
6Kereta perang yang ditarik oleh kuda hitam menuju ke Babel di utara. Kuda putih menuju ke barat dan kuda yang belang menuju ke negara di selatan."
7And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
7Ketika kuda yang belang itu keluar, mereka tampak tak sabar untuk pergi memeriksa bumi. Malaikat itu berkata, "Pergilah untuk memeriksa bumi!" Lalu pergilah mereka.
8Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
8Kemudian malaikat itu berseru kepadaku, "Kuda yang pergi ke Babel itu telah meredakan kemarahan TUHAN."
9And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
9TUHAN memberikan pesan ini kepadaku.
10Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;
10Kata-Nya, "Ambillah persembahan yang diberikan oleh Heldai, Tobia dan Yedaya, yaitu orang-orang yang baru kembali dari pembuangan di Babel. Bawalah segera persembahan mereka itu ke rumah Yosia anak Zefanya.
11yea, take [of them] silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
11Dari emas dan perak pemberian mereka itu, buatlah sebuah mahkota dan pasanglah pada kepala Imam Agung Yosua anak Yozadak.
12and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;
12Sampaikan kepadanya bahwa Aku TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa berkata, 'Orang yang disebut Sang Tunas, akan berhasil di tempat ia berada dan ia akan membangun kembali Rumah TUHAN.
13even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
13Dialah yang akan membangun Rumah-Ku dan menerima kehormatan seperti seorang raja, dan ia akan memerintah atas rakyatnya. Seorang imam akan mendampingi dia dan mereka akan bekerja sama dengan rukun.'
14And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
14Mahkota itu disimpan di Rumah-Ku untuk memperingati Heldai, Tobia, Yedaya, dan Yosia.
15And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.
15Orang-orang akan datang dari tempat yang jauh dan menolong membangun Rumah-Ku. Kalau pembangunan itu selesai, mereka akan tahu bahwa Aku TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa telah mengutus engkau kepada mereka. Semua itu akan terjadi jika mereka benar-benar mematuhi perintah-perintah-Ku, TUHAN Allah mereka."
