¹Mano balsas kilo į Viešpatį, kai aš Jo šaukiausi. Mano balsas kilo, ir Jis išklausė mane!

²In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; My soul refused to be comforted.

²Savo nelaimės dieną ieškojau Viešpaties; per naktį ištiesta mano ranka nepavargo; mano siela nepriėmė paguodos.

³I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah

³Kai prisimenu Dievą­vaitoju, aš skundžiuosi ir alpsta mano dvasia.

⁴Thou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

⁴Tu laikai atmerktas mano akis. Aš nerimauju ir negaliu kalbėti.

⁵I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.

⁵Apie praėjusias dienas mąstau, prisimenu senus laikus.

⁶I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search.

⁶Naktį prisimenu giesmę ir mąstau savo širdyje, mano dvasia vis tyrinėja:

⁷Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?

⁷“Nejaugi amžiams atstums Viešpats ir nebebus palankus?

⁸Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?

⁸Ar Jo gailestingumas aplenkė mane? Ar Jo pažadai, duoti kartų kartoms, neišsipildys?

⁹Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah

⁹Argi Dievas pamiršo būti maloningas ir užsirūstinęs atsisakė būti gailestingas?”

¹⁰And I said, This is my infirmity; [But I will remember] the years of the right hand of the Most High.

¹⁰Aš sakiau: “Man skaudu, kad Aukščiausiojo dešinė pasikeitusi”.

¹¹I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old.

¹¹Prisimenu Viešpaties darbus, Tavo senovėje darytus stebuklus;

¹²I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.

¹²apgalvoju visą Tavo darbą, kalbu apie Tavo veiksmus.

¹³Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great god like unto God?

¹³Dieve, šventas yra Tavo kelias! Kuris dievas yra toks didis, kaip mūsų Dievas?

¹⁴Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples.

¹⁴Tu esi stebuklus darantis Dievas, apreiškiantis tautose savo galią.

¹⁵Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

¹⁵Tu savo ranka išpirkai savo tautą, Jokūbo ir Juozapo vaikus.

¹⁶The waters saw thee, O God; The waters saw thee, they were afraid: The depths also trembled.

¹⁶Pamatę Tave vandenys, o Dieve, pamatę Tave vandenys sudrebėjo, gelmės sunerimo.

¹⁷The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad.

¹⁷Iš debesų vanduo pasipylė, pasigirdo padangėse garsas, švilpė Tavosios strėlės.

¹⁸The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: The earth trembled and shook.

¹⁸Griaustinis danguje sudundėjo, žaibai apšvietė pasaulį, drebėjo ir virpėjo žemė.

¹⁹Thy way was in the sea, And thy paths in the great waters, And thy footsteps were not known.

¹⁹Tavo kelias ėjo per jūrą, takas­ per plačius vandenis, kur praėjai­ neliko žymės.

²⁰Thou leddest thy people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.

²⁰Tu vedei savo tautą kaip avis Mozės ir Aarono ranka.
