¹For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves. My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

¹मी राजासाठी या गोष्टी लिहितो तेव्हा माझे मन सुंदर शब्दांनी भरुन जाते. एखाद्या कसबी लेखकाच्या लेखणीतून शब्द यावेत त्याप्रमाणे माझ्या जिभेतून शब्द येतात.

²Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

²तू कोणाही पेक्षा खूप सुंदर आहेस. तू चांगला वक्ता आहेस म्हणून देव तुला सदैव आशीर्वाद देईल.

³Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.

³तुझी तलवार म्यानात ठेव हे सर्वशक्तीमान, तुझा गौरवशाली गणवेश परिधान कर.

⁴And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

⁴तू खूप अद्भूत दिसतोस जा आणि चांगल्यासाठी व न्यायासाठी होत असलेली लढाई जिंकून ये. तुझा बलवान उजवा हात विस्मयजनक गोष्टी करण्यासाठी वापर.

⁵Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; [They are] in the heart of the king's enemies.

⁵तुझे बाण तीक्ष्ण आहेत. तू खूप लोकांचा पराभव करशील ते तुझ्यापुढे जमिनीवर पडतील.

⁶Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

⁶देवा तुझे सिंहासन नेहमीसाठी आहे. चांगुलपणा हा तुझा राजदंड आहे.

⁷Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

⁷तुला चांगुलपणा आवडतो आणि तू वाईटाचा तिरस्कार करतो म्हणून देवा, तुझ्या देवाने तुलाच तुझ्या मित्रांचा राजा निवडले.

⁸All thy garments [smell of] myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.

⁸तुझ्या वस्त्रांना बोळ, अगरु, ऊद आणि दालचिनी यांचा सुगंध येतो. हस्तिदंताने अच्छादलेल्या महालातून तुला आनंदीत करण्यासाठी संगित ऐकू येते.

⁹Kings' daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

⁹राजांच्या मुली करवल्या आहेत. तुझी वधू तुझ्या उजव्या हाताला शुध्द सोन्याचा मुगुट धारण करुन उभी आहे.

¹⁰Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father's house:

¹⁰मुली, माझे ऐक, लक्षपूर्वक ऐक म्हणजे तुला कळेल. तुझी माणसे आणि तुझ्या वडिलांचे कुटुंबयांना विसरुन जा.

¹¹So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.

¹¹राजाला तुझे सौंदर्य आवडते. तो तुझा नवा नवरा (स्वामी) असेल. तू त्याला मान देशील.

¹²And the daughter of Tyre [shall be there] with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.

¹²सोराचे लोक तुझ्यासाठी भेटी आणतील. श्रीमंत लोक तुला भेटायची इच्छा धरतील.

¹³The king's daughter within [the palace] is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.

¹³राजकन्या म्हणजे एक किमती आणि सोन्यात मढवलेला सुंदर हिरा आहे.

¹⁴She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.

¹⁴सुंदर वस्त्रप्रावरणांनी सजलेल्या वधूला राजाकडे नेले जाते. तिच्या करवल्या तिच्या मागून जातात.

¹⁵With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led: They shall enter into the king's palace.

¹⁵त्या अतिशय आनंदात आहेत. आनंदविभोर होऊन त्या राजाच्या राजवाड्यात प्रवेश करतात.

¹⁶Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.

¹⁶राजा, तुझी मुले तुझ्यानंतर राज्य करतील. तू त्यांना तुझ्या संपूर्ण राज्याचे अधिपती करशील.

¹⁷I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: Therefore shall the peoples give thee thanks for ever and ever.
