1For the Chief Musician; A Psalm of David, a song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; Let them also that hate him flee before him.
1देवा, ऊठ आणि तुझ्या वैऱ्यांची दाणादाण उडव. त्याचे सगळे वैरी त्याच्यापासून दूर पळोत.
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
2तुझे वैरी वाऱ्यावर दूरवर जाणाऱ्या धुरासारखे दूरवर जावोत. आगीत वितळणाऱ्या मेणाप्रमाणे तुझ्या वैऱ्यांचा सर्वनाश होवो.
3But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.
3परंतु चांगले लोक आनंदात आहेत. चांगल्या लोकांचा देवाबरोबर आनंदात वेळ जातो. चांगले लोक आनंदात जगतात आणि सुखी होतात.
4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; His name is Jehovah; and exult ye before him.
4देवासाठी गाणे म्हणा त्याच्या नावाचे गुणगान करा, देवासाठी रस्ता तयार करा. तो त्याच्या रथात बसून वाळवंटातून जातो त्याचे नाव यादे आहे. त्याच्या नावाची स्तुती करा.
5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.
5देव त्याच्या पवित्र मंदिरात अनाथांचा बाप होतो. तो विधवांची काळजी घेतो.
6God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
6देव एकाकी लोकांना घर देतो, देव त्याच्यामाणसांना तुंरुगातून बाहेर काढतो, ते फार आनंदी आहेत. परंतु जे लोक देवाच्या विरुध्द जातात ते त्याच्या आगीसारख्या तुरुंगात राहातील.
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah
7देवा, तू तुझ्या माणसांना मिसरमधून बाहेर काढलेस. तू वाळवंटातून चालत गेलास.
8The earth trembled, The heavens also dropped [rain] at the presence of God: Yon Sinai [trembled] at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
8आणि भूमी थरथरली. देव, इस्राएलचा देव सिनाय डोंगरावर आला आणि आकाश वितळायला लागले.
9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, Thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
9देवा, थकलेल्या जीर्ण झालेल्या भूमीला पुन्हा शक्ती येण्यासाठी तू पाऊस पाठवलास.
10Thy congregation dwelt therein: Thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor.
10तुझे प्राणी पुन्हा त्या ठिकाणी आले. देवा, तू तिथल्या गरीब लोकांना बऱ्याच चांगल्या वस्तू दिल्यास.
11The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host.
11देवाने आज्ञा केली आणि बरेच लोक चांगली बातमी सांगण्यासाठी गेले.
12Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
12शक्तिमान राजांची सैन्ये पळून गेली. सैनिकांनी युध्दातून घरी आणलेल्या वस्तूंची विभागणी बायका घरी करतील. जे लोक घरीच राहिले होते ते ही संपत्तीत वाटा घेतील.
13When ye lie among the sheepfolds, [It is as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
13त्यांना कबुतराचे चांदीने मढवलेले पंख मिळतील. त्यांना सोन्याने मढवलेले आणि चकाकणारे पंख मिळतील.
14When the Almighty scattered kings therein, [It was as when] it snoweth in Zalmon.
14देवाने साल्मोन डोंगरावर शत्रूंच्या राजाची दाणदाण उडवली त्यांची अवस्था पडणाऱ्या हिमासाखी झाली.
15A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.
15बाशानचा पर्वत उंच सुळके असेलला मोठा पर्वत आहे.
16Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, Jehovah will dwell [in it] for ever.
16बाशान, तू सियोन पर्वताकडे तुच्छेतेने का पाहतोस? देवाला तो पर्वत (सियोन) आवडतो. परमेश्वराने कायमचे तिथेच राहाणे पसंत केले.
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.
17परमेश्वर पवित्र सियोन पर्वतावर येतो. त्याच्या मागे त्याचे लाखो रथ असतात.
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, [among] the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell [with them].
18तो उंच पर्वतावर गेला, त्याने कैद्यांची पलटण बरोबर नेली. त्याने माणसांकडून जे त्याच्या विरुध्द होते, त्यांच्याकडूनही नजराणे घेतले. परमेश्वर, देव तेथे राहाण्यासाठी गेला.
19Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah
19परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. तो रोज आपल्याला आपले ओझे वाहायला मदत करतो देव आपल्याला तारतो.
20God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.
20तो आपला देव आहे आपल्याला तारणारा तोच तो देव आहे. परमेश्वर, आपला देव आपल्याला मरणापासून वाचवतो.
21But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.
21देवाने त्याच्या शत्रूंचा पराभव केला हे तो दाखवून देईल. जे त्याविरुध्द लढले. त्यांना देव शिक्षा करील.
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depths of the sea;
22माझा धनी म्हणाला, “मी शत्रूला बाशान पर्वतावरुन परत आणीन. मी शत्रूला पश्चिमेकडून परत आणीन.
23That thou mayest crush [them], [dipping] thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from [thine] enemies.
23म्हणजे तुम्हाला त्यांच्या रक्तातून चालत जाता येईल. तुमच्या कुत्र्यांना त्यांचे रक्त चाटता येईल.”
24They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
24विजयाच्या मिरवणुकीचे नेतृत्व करणाऱ्या देवाला लोक बघतात. माझा देव, माझा राजा विजयांच्या मिरवणुकीचे नेतृत्व करीत आहे, ते लोक बघतात.
25The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.
25गायक वाजत गाजत पुढे येतील. नंतर तरुण मुली खांजिऱ्या वाजवतील. त्यांच्या नंतर वाद्य वाजवणारे असतील.
26Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, [ye that are] of the fountain of Israel.
26मोठ्या मंडळात देवाचा जय जयकार करा. इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
27There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah [and] their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
27छोटा बन्यामीन त्यांचे नेतृत्व करीत आहे आणि तेथे यहूदाचे मोठे कुटुंब जबुलूनाचे नेते आणि नफतालीचे नेते आहेत.
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
28देवा, आम्हाला तुझी शक्ती दाखव. तू पूर्वी आमच्यासाठी तुझी शक्ती वापरलीस ती दाखव.
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee.
29राजे त्यांची संपत्ती तुझ्याकडे आणतील, तुझ्या यरुशलेममधील प्रासादात ती आणतील.
30Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.
30त्या “प्राण्यानी” तुला हवे ते करावे म्हणून तू तुझ्या काठीचा उपयोग करत्या देशातील “बैलांना” आणि “गायींना” तुझ्या आज्ञेचे पालन करायला लाव. तू त्या देशांचा युध्दात पराभव केला आहेस आता त्यांना तुझ्यासाठी चांदी आणायला सांग.
31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.
31त्यांना मिसरमधून संपत्ती आणायला सांग देवा, इथिओपियातल्या लोकांना त्यांची संपत्ती तुझ्याकडे आणायला भाग पाड.
32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; Selah
32पृथ्वीवरच्या राजांनो, देवासाठी गाणे म्हणा, त्याच्यासाठी स्तुतिगीत गा.
33To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
33देवासाठी गाणे म्हणा देव पुरातन आकाशातून त्याचा रथ नेतो, त्याचा जोरदार आवाज ऐका.
34Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.
34तुमच्या इतर देवांपेक्षा हा देव अधिक शक्तिमान आहे. इस्राएलाचा देव त्याच्या लोकांना अधिक शक्तिमान बनवतो.
35O God, [thou art] terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto [his] people. Blessed be God.
35देव त्याच्या मंदिरात भीतिदायक दिसतो. इस्राएलचा देव त्याच्या लोकांना शक्ती आणि सामर्थ्य देतो. देवाचे गुणगान करा.
