¹For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.

¹ယာယီတဲဖြစ်သော ငါတို့မြေအိမ်သည်ပျက်လျှင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ လူလက်ဖြင့်မလုပ်ဘဲ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော နိစ္စထာဝရအိမ်ရှိကြောင်းကို ငါတို့ သိကြ၏။

²For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven:

²ငါတို့သည် မြေအိမ်၌ရှိစဉ်တွင်၊ ကောင်းကင်အိမ် ထဲသို့ဝင်စားခြင်းငှါ အလွန်တောင့်တလိုချင်သော စိတ် ရှိ၍၊ ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်းလျက်၊ နေကြ၏။

³if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

³ထိုသို့ဝင်စားလျှင် နေရာမဲ့ဖြစ်မည်မဟုတ်။

⁴For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.

⁴ဤတဲ၌နေသော ငါတို့သည် လေးသောဝန်ကို ထမ်း၍ ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်းကြ၏။ နေရာထဲက ထွက်ချင်သောကြောင့် ညည်းတွားသည် မဟုတ်။ သေတတ်သောအရာကို အသက်ရှင်ခြင်း၌ ဆုံးရှုံးစေခြင်းငှါ၊ မြဲသောနေရာထဲသို့ ဝင်စားချင်သောကြောင့် ညည်းတွားကြ၏။

⁵Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

⁵ထိုသို့သော အကျိုးကိုခံစေခြင်းငှါ ငါတို့ကို ပြင်ဆင်သောသူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်ပေတည်း။ ထိုဘုရား သခင်သည် ဝိညာဉ်တော်တည်းဟူသော စားရန်ကို ငါတို့အား ပေးတော်မူပြီ။

⁶Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord

⁶ထို့ကြောင့်ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာ၌ နေမြဲနေစဉ်ကာလ၊ သခင်ဘုရားနှင့် ကွာဝေးရာအရပ်၌နေသည်ကို ငါတို့သည်သိလျက်၊

⁷(for we walk by faith, not by sight);

⁷အစဉ် ရဲရင့်သောစိတ်ရှိကြ၏။ မျက်မှောက်မမြင်ဘဲ ယုံကြည်မျှော်လင့်ခြင်းရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ ငါတို့သည် ကျင့်ဆောင်ပြုမှုသည်ဖြစ်၍၊

⁸we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

⁸ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာနှင့် ကွာဝေးရာအရပ်သို့သွား၍၊ သခင်ဘုရားထံတော်၌ နေမြဲနေခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိလျက်၊ ရဲရင့်သောစိတ်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံကြ၏။

⁹Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.

⁹ထို့ကြောင့်ငါတို့သည် နေမြဲအရပ်၌ နေသည် ဖြစ်စေ၊ ကွာဝေးရာအရပ်၌နေသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သခင်ဘုရား နှစ်သက်တော်မူသော သူဖြစ်ခြင်းငှါ စေတနာစိတ်ရှိ၍ ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်ကြ၏။

¹⁰For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.

¹⁰အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှသည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာ၌ကျင့်သောအကျင့်၊ ကောင်းမကောင်းရှိသည်အတိုင်း အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို အသီးအသီးခံခြင်းငှါ၊ ခရစ်တော်၏ တရားပလ္လင်ရှေ့၌ ပေါ်လာရကြမည်။

¹¹Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.

¹¹သို့ဖြစ်၍ သခင်ဘုရားနှင့်ဆိုင်သော ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်သော အကြောင်းအရာတို့ကို ငါတို့သည် သိလျှင်၊ လူများကိုနှိုးဆော်သွေးဆောင်ရသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ ထင်ရှားကြ၏။ သင်တို့၏စိတ်ရှေ့၌ လည်းထင်ရှားကြသည်ဟု ငါထင်မှတ်၏။

¹²We are not again commending ourselves unto you, but [speak] as giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that ye may have wherewith to answer them that glory in appearance, and not in heart.

¹²ငါတို့သည်သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ တဖန်ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် ချီးမွမ်းကြသည်မဟုတ်။ စိတ်သဘောကိုမထောက်၊ အသွေးအဆင်းကိုထောက်၍ ဝါကြွားသောသူတို့၏ စကားကို သင်တို့သည် ချေနိုင်မည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါတို့ ကြောင့် ဝါကြွားခြင်းအခွင့်ကိုသာ ပေးကြ၏။

¹³For whether we are beside ourselves, it is unto God; or whether we are of sober mind, it is unto you.

¹³ငါတို့သည် သူရူးဖြစ်လျှင် ဘုရားသခင်အဘို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ စိတ်ကောင်းသောသူဖြစ်လျှင် သင်တို့အဘို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁴For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died;

¹⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ တယောက်သောသူသည် လူအပေါင်းတို့အတွက်ကြောင့် အသေခံသည်မှန်လျှင်၊

¹⁵and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.

¹⁵လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် သေလျက်နေကြသည် ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့သည် တဖန်ကိုယ်အလို သို့လိုက်၍ မရှင်၊ သူတို့အတွက်ကြောင့် အသေခံပြီးမှ ထမြောက်တော်မူသော သူတို့၏အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ ရှင်စေ မည်အကြောင်း၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့အတွက်ကြောင့် အသေ ခံတော်မူသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ငါတို့သည်သဘောထားလျက်၊ ခရစ်တော်၏ချစ်ခြင်း မေတ္တာတော်သည် ငါတို့ကို အနိုင် အထက်သွေးဆောင်၏။

¹⁶Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know [him so] no more.

¹⁶သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ယခုမှစ၍ ငါတို့သည် ဇာတိအမျိုကိုထောက်၍ အဘယ်သူကိုမျှမသိမမှတ်။ ဇာတိအမျိုးကိုထောက်၍ ခရစ်တော်ကို အထက်က သိမှတ်သော်လည်း၊ ယခုမှစ၍ ထိုသို့သောသိမှတ်ခြင်းမရှိ။

¹⁷Wherefore if any man is in Christ, [he is] a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.

¹⁷လူမည်သည်ကား၊ ခရစ်တော်၌ရှိလျှင် အသစ် ပြုပြင်သောသတ္တဝါဖြစ်၏။ ဟောင်းသောအရာ တို့သည်ပြောင်းလဲ၍ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့သည် အသစ်ဖြစ်ကြပြီ။

¹⁸But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;

¹⁸ထိုသို့ဖြစ်သော် ဘုရားသခင်၏ တန်ခိုးတော်အားဖြင့် ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ယေရှုခရစ် အားဖြင့် ငါတို့၏ရန်ကိုငြိမ်းစေ၍ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့စေတော်မူ၏။ ထိုမိဿဟာယတရားကို ဟောရသော အခွင့်အရာကို ငါတို့၌အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။

¹⁹to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

¹⁹ထိုတရားဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ခရစ်တော်အထဲ၌ ရှိနေလျက်၊ လောကီသားတို့၏ အပြစ်များ ကို မှတ်တော်မမူ၊ ရန်ကိုငြိမ်းစေ၍ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့စေတော်မူ၏။ ထိုမိဿဟာယတရားကိုလည်း ငါတို့၌အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။

²⁰We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech [you] on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.

²⁰ထို့ကြောင့်ငါတို့သည်ခရစ်တော်၏ သံတမန်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည်ရန်ငြိမ်း၍ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် မိဿ ဟာယဖွဲ့ကြလော့ဟု ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါတို့အားဖြင့် နှိုးဆော်သွေးဆောင်တော်မူသကဲ့သို့၊ ငါတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်၏ ကိုယ်စားဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့ကို တောင်းပန် သွေးဆောင်ကြ၏။

²¹Him who knew no sin he made [to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

²¹အဘယ်ကြောင့်နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည်အပြစ်နှင့် ကင်းစင်သောသူကို ငါတို့အတွက်ကြောင့် အပြစ်ရှိသောသူဖြစ်စေတော်မူ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့သည်ထိုသူအားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူဖြစ်မည်အကြောင်းတည်း။
