¹Now Pashhur, the son of Immer the priest, who was chief officer in the house of Jehovah, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things.

¹ထိုသို့ယေရမိဟောပြောကြောင်းကို၊ ဗိမာန်တော် မှူးဖြစ်သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဣမေရသား ပါရှုရသည် ကြားသောအခါ၊

²Then Pashhur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the upper gate of Benjamin, which was in the house of Jehovah.

²ပရောဖက် ယေရမိကို ရိုက်ပုတ်၍၊ ဗိမာန်တော် နားမှာ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အထက်တံခါးဝတွင် ထိတ်ခတ်၍ ထား၏။

³And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashhur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, Jehovah hath not called thy name Pashhur, but Magor-missabib.

³နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ ပါရှုရသည် ယေရမိကို ထိတ်မှ လွှတ်သောအခါ၊ ယေရမိက၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို ပါရှုရဟူ၍ မှည့်တော်မမူ။ မာဂေါမိဿဘိတ်ဟူ၍ မှည့် တော်မူ၏။

⁴For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it; and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

⁴ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါသည် သင်နှင့်သင်၏ အဆွေခင်ပွန်းတို့၌၊ သင့်ကိုကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သော အရာဖြစ်စေမည်။ သူတို့သည်လည်း၊ သင့် မျက်မှောက်၌ ရန်သူ၏ထားဖြင့် ဆုံးကြလိမ့်မည်။ ယုဒ ပြည်တပြည်လုံးကို ဗာဗုလုန်ရှင်ဘုရင်လက်သို့ ငါအပ် သဖြင့်၊ သူသည် ပြည်သားတို့ကို ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ သိမ်းသွား ၍၊ ထားနှင့်သတ်လိမ့်မည်။

⁵Moreover I will give all the riches of this city, and all the gains thereof, and all the precious things thereof, yea, all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies; and they shall make them a prey, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

⁵ဤမြို့၏ အစွမ်းသတ္တိရှိသမျှကို၎င်း၊ လုပ်ဆောင် ၍ ရသမျှသော ဥစ္စာကို၎င်း၊ ဆည်းဖူးသမျှသော ရတနာ ကို၎င်း၊ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်၏ ဘဏ္ဍာတော် အလုံးစုံတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ရန်သူလက်သို့ ငါအပ်သဖြင့်၊ ရန်သူတို့သည် လုယက်၍ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ သိမ်းသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁶And thou, Pashhur, and all that dwell in thy house shall go into captivity; and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and there shalt thou be buried, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied falsely.

⁶သင်ပါရှုရနှင့် သင်၏အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့ကိုလည်း သိမ်းသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည် ဗာဗုလုန် မြို့သို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်မည်။ သင်ဟောပြောသော မုသာ စကားကို နားထောင်သော သင်၏အဆွေခင်ပွန်း အပေါင်းတို့နှင်တကွ၊ သင်သည် ထိုမြို့၌ သေ၍သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ပါရှုရအားပြောဆို၏။

⁷O Jehovah, thou hast persuaded me, and I was persuaded; thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am become a laughing-stock all the day, every one mocketh me.

⁷အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သွေးဆောင်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ်လိုက်ပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ထက်အားကြီး၍ နိုင်တော်မူပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကို နေ့တိုင်းခံရပါ၏။ လူတိုင်း ပြက်ပြယ်ခြင်းကို ပြုတတ်ကြပါ၏။

⁸For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, Violence and destruction! because the word of Jehovah is made a reproach unto me, and a derision, all the day.

⁸အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဟောပြောလေရာရာ၌ အနိုင် အထက်ပြုခြင်း၊ ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းအမှုကြောင့် အော်ဟစ်၍ ကြွေးကြော်ရပါ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၌ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်း၊ အစဉ်ပြက်ပြယ်ခြင်းကို ခံစေရာအကြောင်း ဖြစ်ပါ၏။

⁹And if I say, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with forbearing, and I cannot [contain].

⁹ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို မကြား မပြော၊ နာမတော်ကို အမှီပြု၍ မဟောဘဲနေမည်ဟု သဘောထားသော်လည်း၊ ငါ့အရိုးတို့၌ ချုပ်ထား၍၊ လောင်သောမီးကဲ့သို့ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့နှလုံး၌ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်၊ အလွန်ငြီးငွေ့သဖြင့် အောင့်၍မနေနိုင်၊

¹⁰For I have heard the defaming of many, terror on every side. Denounce, and we will denounce him, [say] all my familiar friends, they that watch for my fall; peradventure he will be persuaded, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

¹⁰လူများ ကဲ့ရဲ့ပြစ်တင်ခြင်းကို ကြားရ၏။ ခပ် သိမ်းသော အရပ်တို့၌ ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သော အကြောင်းရှိ၏။ သူတပါးတို့က သိတင်းကို ကြားပြော ကြလော့။ ငါတို့သည် တဆင့်ကြားပြောလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။ ငါ၏အနားမှာ အစဉ်နေသော ငါ၏မိတ်ဆွေ အပေါင်းတို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် သူ့ကိုနိုင်၍ အငြိုးထားသော စိတ်ပြေစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သူ့ကို သွေးဆောင်ကောင်း သွေး ဆောင်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။

¹¹But Jehovah is with me as a mighty one [and] a terrible: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail; they shall be utterly put to shame, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which shall never be forgotten.

¹¹သို့သော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အားကြီး သော သူရဲကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ဘက်၌ ရှိတော်မူ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါ့ကိုညှဉ်းဆဲသော သူတို့သည် မနိုင်ဘဲ ထိမိ၍ လဲကြ လိမ့်မည်။ အကြံမမြောက်သောကြောင့် အလွန်ရှက်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။ မပြေမပျောက်နိုင်သော ထာဝရရှက်ကြောက် ခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹²But, O Jehovah of hosts, that triest the righteous, that seest the heart and the mind, let me see thy vengeance on them; for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

¹²ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့ကို စုံစမ်း၍၊ နှလုံး ကျောက်ကပ်သဘောကို သိမြင်တော်မူသော ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏အမှုကို ရှေ့တော်၌ ဖွင့်ပြပါသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတို့၌ အပြစ်ဒဏ် စီရင်တော်မူကြောင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်မြင်ရပါလိမ့်မည်။

¹³Sing unto Jehovah, praise ye Jehovah; for he hath delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evil-doers.

¹³ထာဝရဘုရားအား သီချင်းဆိုကြလော့။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မတရား သဖြင့် ပြုသော သူတို့လက်မှ၊ ဆင်းရဲသောသူကို ကယ်နှုတ်တော်မူသတည်း။

¹⁴Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

¹⁴ငါဘွားသော နေ့ရက်သည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိပါစေ သော။ ငါ့ကို ငါ့အမိဘွားသော နေ့ရက်သည် ကောင်းကြီး မင်္ဂလာကို မခံပါစေနှင့်။

¹⁵Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man-child is born unto thee; making him very glad.

¹⁵ငါ့အဘထံသို့သွား၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် သား ယောက်ျားကို ရပါပြီဟု သိတင်းပြောလျက်၊ ငါ့အဘကို အလွန်ဝမ်းမြောက်စေသော သူသည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိပါ စေသော။

¹⁶And let that man be as the cities which Jehovah overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime;

¹⁶ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နောင်တမရ၊ ဖျက်ဆီးတော် မူသော မြို့တို့ကဲ့သို့၊ ထိုသူသည်ဖြစ်ပါစေသော။ နံနက် အချိန်၌ ကြွေးကြော်သံကို၎င်း၊ မွန်းတည့်အချိန်၌ အော် ဟစ်သံကို၎င်း ကြားပါစေသော။

¹⁷because he slew me not from the womb; and so my mother would have been my grave, and her womb always great.

¹⁷အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သူသည် ငါ့ကိုဘွားစကပင် မသတ်ဘဲ၊ ငါ့အမိ၏ ဝမ်းသည်ငါ၏ သင်္ချိုင်းဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့ကိုအစဉ် ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်မည် အကြောင်းမပြုဘဲ နေပါ သည်တကား။

¹⁸Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labor and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

¹⁸ငါသည် ပူပန်ခြင်း၊ ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းကို ခံရမည် အကြောင်းနှင့် ရှက်ကြောက်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်အသက် ကို လွန်စေရမည်အကြောင်း၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ့ကို ဘွားမြင်ရပါသနည်း။
