¹Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in Leb-kamai, a destroying wind.

¹ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဗာဗုလုန် မြို့တဘက်၌၎င်း၊ ငါ၏ရန်သူတို့နှင့်ပေါင်းဘော်သော သူတို့တဘက်၌၎င်း၊ ဖျက်ဆီးတတ်သော လေကို ငါထစေ မည်။

²And I will send unto Babylon strangers, that shall winnow her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

²စံကောနှင့်ပြာတတ်သောသူတို့ကို ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ သို့ ငါစေလွှတ်သဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် တပြည်လုံးကိုပြာ၍ ရှင်းလင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ အမှုရောက်သောကာလ၊ သူတို့ သည် မြို့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တို့၌ ရန်ဘက်ပြုလျက်နေကြ လိမ့်မည်။

³Against [him that] bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against [him that] lifteth himself up in his coat of mail: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

³လေးကိုကိုင်သောသူ၊ သံချပ်အင်္ကျီကိုဝတ်သော သူတို့ကို လေးတင်၍ ပစ်ကြလော့။ မြို့သားလုလင်တို့ကို မနှမြောဘဲ၊ မြို့သားအလုံးအရင်းရှိသမျှတို့ကို ရှင်းရှင်းဖျက်ဆီး ကြလော့။

⁴And they shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.

⁴ထိုသို့သူရဲတို့သည် ခါလဒဲပြည်တွင်၊ လမ်းမတို့၌ လဲ၍အထိုးခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁵For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, of his God, of Jehovah of hosts; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

⁵ဣသရေလအမျိုးနှင့်ယုဒအမျိုးနေရာ ပြည်သည်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏သန့်ရှင်းတော်မူသော ဘုရားကို ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ်နှင့်ပြည့်သော်လည်း၊ သူတို့ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရား သည် ထိုအမျိုးတို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်တော်မမူ။

⁶Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.

⁶ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ထဲက ထွက်ပြေး၍၊ အသီးအသီး ကိုယ်အသက်ကို ကယ်နှုတ်ကြလော့။ မြို့သားတို့၏အပြစ် နှင့်ရော၍ ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်ကို မခံကြနှင့်။ ဤအချိန်ကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏အမျက်တော်ကို ဖြေချိန်ဖြစ်၍၊ အကျိုး အပြစ်နှင့်အလျောက် စီရင်တော်မူမည်။

⁷Babylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

⁷ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကိုင်တော်မူ၍ မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံးကို ယစ်မူးစေသောရွှေဖလားဖြစ်၏။ ထိုဖလား၌ပါသော စပျစ်ရည်ကို လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် သောက်၍အရူးဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁸Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

⁸ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းပြိုလဲ၍ ပျက်စီးပြီ။ သူ၏အတွက် ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းကြလော့။ သူ၏အနာ ပျောက်နိုင်လျှင်၊ ပျောက်စေခြင်းငှါ ဗာလစံစေးကို ယူကြလော့။

⁹We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

⁹ငါတို့သည် ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့၏အနာကို ပျောက်စေ ခြင်းငှါ ပြုသော်လည်း၊ အနာမပျောက်နိုင်။ သူ့ကို စွန့်ပစ်၍၊ အသီးအသီး ငါတို့ နေရင်းပြည်သို့ သွားကြ ကုန်အံ့။ သူခံရသော အပြစ်သည် ကောင်းကင် တိုင်အောင် ရောက်၍၊ မိုဃ်းတိမ်ကို ထိလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹⁰Jehovah hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God.

¹⁰ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ဖြောင့်မတ်ကြောင်းကို ဘော်ပြတော်မူပြီ။ လာကြလော့။ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားအမှုတော်ကို ဇိအုန်မြို့၌ ကြားပြောကြ ကုန်အံ့။

¹¹Make sharp the arrows; hold firm the shields: Jehovah hath stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it: for it is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of his temple.

¹¹မြှားတို့ကို ပွတ်ကြလော့။ ဒိုင်းလွှားတို့ကို ကိုင်စွဲ ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မေဒိရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို နှိုးဆော်တော်မူပြီ။ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးမည် အကြံ ရှိတော်မူ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမျက် တော်ကိုဖြေခြင်း၊ ဗိမာန်တော်ကိုဖျက်ဆီးသောအပြစ်နှင့် အလျောက် ဒဏ်ပေးခြင်းအမှုဖြစ်သတည်း။

¹²Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for Jehovah hath both purposed and done that which he spake concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

¹²ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ရိုးရှေ့မှာ အလံကိုထူကြလော့။ များစွာသော လူစောင့်တို့ကို ထား၍ကင်းထိုးကြလော့။ ချောင်းမြောင်းသော တပ်သားတို့ကို ပြင်ကြလော့။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သားတို့ကို ခြိမ်းသည်အတိုင်း ကြံစည်၍ လက်စသတ်တော်မူသည်။

¹³O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, the measure of thy covetousness.

¹³များစွာသော ရေအနားမှာနေ၍ စည်းစိမ်ကြီး သောသူ၊ သင်၏ဆုံးရှုံးချိန်၊ သင်၏လောဘ အလိုပျက်ချိန် ရောက်လေပြီ။

¹⁴Jehovah of hosts hath sworn by himself, [saying], Surely I will fill thee with men, as with the canker-worm; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

¹⁴ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်ကိုတိုင်တည်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင့်ကို ကျိုင်းကောင်များနှင့်ပြည့်စေသကဲ့သို့ လူများနှင့်ပြည့် စေမည်။ သူတို့သည်သင့်တဘက်၌ ကြွေးကြော်သံကို လွှင့် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁵He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens:

¹⁵တန်ခိုးတော်အားဖြင့် မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော် မူပြီ။ ပညာတော်အားဖြင့် လောကဓာတ်ကို တည်တော် မူပြီ။ ဥာဏ်တော်အားဖြင့် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ကို ကြက်တော်မူပြီ။

¹⁶when he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.

¹⁶အသံတော်ကို လွှတ်တော်မူသောအခါ၊ မိုဃ်းရေ အသံဗလံဖြစ်တတ်၏။ မြေကြီးစွန်းမှမိုဃ်းတိမ်ကို တက်စေတော်မူ၏။ မိုဃ်းရွာသည်နှင့် လျှပ်စစ်ပြက်စေ တော်မူ၏။ လေကိုလည်း ဘဏ္ဍာတော် တိုက်ထဲကထုတ် တော်မူ၏။

¹⁷Every man is become brutish [and is] without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

¹⁷လူမည်သည်ကား၊ မိမိဥာဏ်အားဖြင့် တိရစ္ဆာန် ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၏။ ရုပ်တုကို သွန်းသော သူတိုင်းမိမိလုပ်သော ရုပ်တုအားဖြင့် မှောက်မှားလျက်ရှိ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သွန်းသောရုပ်တုသည် မုသာဖြစ်၏။ သူ၌လည်း ထွက်သက်ဝင်သက်မရှိ။

¹⁸They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

¹⁸ထိုသို့သော အရာတို့သည် အချည်းနှီးသက် သက်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ လှည့်စားသောအရာလည်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ စစ်ကြောခြင်းကို ခံရသည်ကာလ ကွယ်ပျောက်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။

¹⁹The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and [Israel] is the tribe of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

¹⁹ယာကုပ်အမျိုး၏ အဘို့ဖြစ်သောဘုရားသည် ထိုသို့သောအရာနှင့်တူတော်မမူ။ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာ တို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းသောဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အမွေခံတော်မူရာဖြစ်၏။ နာမတော်သည် ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားပေတည်း။

²⁰Thou art my battle-axe and weapons of war: and with thee will I break in pieces the nations; and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

²⁰အိုသံတူကြီး၊ သင်သည် ငါစစ်တိုက်စရာ လက်နက်ဖြစ်၏။ သင့်ကို ငါကိုင်၍ အတိုင်းတိုင်း အပြည်ပြည်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ပြီ။

²¹and with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider;

²¹သင့်ကိုကိုင်၍ မြင်းနှင့်မြင်းစီးသူရဲကို၎င်း၊ ရထားနှင့်ရထားစီး သူရဲကို၎င်း ငါချိုးဖဲ့ပြီ။

²²and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and him that rideth therein; and with thee will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin;

²²သင့်ကိုကိုင်၍ ယောက်ျားနှင့်မိန်းမတို့ကို၎င်း၊ အသက်ကြီးသူနှင့် အသက်ငယ်သူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ လူပျိုနှင့် အပျိုမတို့ကို၎င်း ငါချိုးဖဲ့ပြီ။

²³and with thee will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke [of oxen]; and with thee will I break in pieces governors and deputies.

²³သင့်ကိုကိုင်၍ သိုးထိန်းနှင့်သိုးစုကို၎င်း၊ လယ် လုပ်သော သူနှင့် နွားယှဉ်ကို၎င်း၊ ဗိုလ်များနှင့် မင်းများကို ၎င်း ငါချိုးဖဲ့ပြီ။

²⁴And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith Jehovah.

²⁴သို့ရာတွင်၊ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သူ၊ ခါလာဒဲပြည်သား အပေါင်းတို့သည် ဇိအုန်မြို့၌ပြုလေသမျှသော ဒုစရိုက် ရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ ငါသည် သင်တို့ မျက်မှောက်၌ သူတို့အား အပြစ်ပေးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁵Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith Jehovah, which destroyest all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

²⁵ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောသဘောရှိ၍၊ မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံးကို ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောတောင်ကြီး၊ သင့်တဘက်၌ ငါနေ၏။ သင့် အပေါ်မှာ ငါ၏လက်ကိုဆန့်လျက်။ ကျောက်တို့မှ သင့်ကို လှိမ့်ချ၍၊ မီးနှင့်ကျွမ်းလောင်သော တောင်ဖြစ်စေမည်။

²⁶And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith Jehovah.

²⁶တိုက်ထောင့်အထွဋ်ကျောက်၊ တိုက်မြစ်ကျောက် တစုံတခုကိုမျှ သင်၏အထဲကမနှုတ်မယူရ၊ အစဉ်မပြတ် ပျက်စီးလျက်နေရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော် မူ၏။

²⁷Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz: appoint a marshal against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough canker-worm.

²⁷ထိုပြည်၌အလံကိုထူကြလော့။ အပြည်ပြည်တို့၌ တံပိုးကိုမှုတ်၍၊ လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကိုသူ၏ တဘက်၌ပြင်ဆင် ကြလော့။ အာရရတ်ပြည်၊ မိန္နိပြည်၊ အာရှကေနတ်ပြည် တို့ကို သူ၏တဘက်၌ စည်းဝေးစေကြလော့။ ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မင်းကိုခန့်ထား၍၊ အမွေး ကြမ်းသော ကျိုင်းကောင်ကဲ့သို့ မြင်းစီးသူရဲတို့ကို စစ်ချီ စေကြလော့။

²⁸Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, the governors thereof, and all the deputies thereof, and all the land of their dominion.

²⁸လူမျိုးများတို့နှင့်တကွ၊ မေဒိရှင်ဘုရင်မှစ၍ ဗိုလ်များ၊ မင်းများ၊ မေဒိနိုင်ငံသားအပေါင်းတို့ကို သူ၏ တဘက်၌ ပြင်ဆင်ကြလော့။

²⁹And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

²⁹ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်သည်တုန်လှုပ်၍ လိမ့်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုပြည်သည်နေသူမရှိ၊ သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းရာ ဖြစ်စေခြင်း ငှါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကြံစည်တော်မူသော အကြံအစည် ရှိသမျှသည် ပြည့်စုံရလိမ့်မည်။

³⁰The mighty men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they remain in their strongholds; their might hath failed; they are become as women: her dwelling-places are set on fire; her bars are broken.

³⁰ဗာဗုလုန်စစ်သူရဲတို့သည် စစ်မပြိုင်ဘဲရဲတိုက် များ၌နေကြ၏။ အားလျော့၍မိန်းမကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ မြို့သားနေရာတို့ကိုမီးရှို့၍၊ တံခါးကျင်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ကြ၏။

³¹One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to met another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter:

³¹ရန်သူတို့သည် မြို့တော်ကို တဘက်တချက် တိုက်ဝင်ကြပြီဟူ၍၎င်း၊ လမ်းဝကို ပိတ်ထား၍ ရေကန် နားမှာမီးရှို့ကြောင်းနှင့်၊ စစ်သူရဲတို့သည် ကြောက်လန့် လျက်ရှိကြပြီဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ဗာဗုလုန်ရှင်ဘုရင်အား ကြားလျှောက်အံ့သောငှါ၊ မင်းလုလင်ချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက်၊ စေလွှတ်သူချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက် တွေ့ကြုံလျက် ပြေးလာကြ၏။

³²and the passages are seized, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

³³ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဗာဗုလုန်သတို့သမီးသည် စပါးနယ်ရသော ကောက်နယ် တလင်းကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၏။ စပါးရိတ်ရာအချိန်နီးပြီ။

³³For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing-floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.

³⁴ဗာဗုလုန်ရှင်ဘုရင်နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာသည် ငါတို့ကို ကိုက်စား၍ နှိပ်စက်ပါပြီ။ ငါတို့ကို ဟင်းလင်း သောအိုးဖြစ်စေပါပြီ။ နဂါးမျိုတတ်သကဲ့သို့ ငါတို့ကို မျို၍၊ ငါတို့ ပျော်မွေ့စရာအရာ တို့နှင့်မိမိဝမ်းကို ပြည့်စေ ပါပြီ။ ငါတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်ပါပြီ။

³⁴Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath, like a monster, swallowed me up, he hath filled his maw with my delicacies; he hath cast me out.

³⁵ဇိအုန်မြို့သမီးက၊ ငါ၏ကိုယ်နှင့်ငါ၏အသား၌ ပြုသောအဓမ္မအမှုသည် ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့အပေါ်သို့ ရောက်ပါ စေဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကလည်း၊ ငါ၏အသွေးသည် ခါလအဲပြည်သားတို့အပေါ်သို့ ရောက်ပါစေဟူ၍၎င်း ဆိုရ၏။

³⁵The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and, My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

³⁶သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်၏အမှုကို ငါစောင့်မည်။ သင်ခံရသောအပြစ်ကို ပြန်ပေးမည်။ သူ၏ပင်လယ်ကို၎င်း၊ သူ၏စမ်းရေတွင်း တို့ကို၎င်း ငါခန်းခြောက်စေမည်။

³⁶Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.

³⁷ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည် အမှိုက်ပုံ၊ မြေခွေးနေရာတွင်း၊ အံ့ဩဘွယ်ရာ၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့သံပြုရာ၊ လူဆိတ်ညံရာအရပ် ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။

³⁷And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling-place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

³⁸ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ မြို့သားတို့ သည်ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့ ဟောက်သောအသံ၊ ခြင်္သေ့သငယ်ကဲ့သို့ မြည်သောအသံကိုတညီတည်း ပြုကြလိမ့်မည်။

³⁸They shall roar together like young lions; they shall growl as lions' whelps.

³⁹သူတို့သည်ပျော်မွေ့ကြမည်အကြောင်းနှင့်၊ နောက်တဖန်မနိုးဘဲ၊ အစဉ်မပြတ်အိပ်ပျော်မည် အကြောင်း၊ သူတို့သည် ရွှင်လန်းအားကြီးသောအခါ၊ သောက်စရာဘို့ ငါတိုက်၍ ယစ်မူးစေမည်။

³⁹When they are heated, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith Jehovah.

⁴⁰အသေသတ်ခြင်းငှါ ဆွဲ၍ချသော သိုးသငယ်ကို ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ သိုးထီး၊ ဆိတ်ထီးကိုကဲ့သို့၎င်း ငါဆွဲ၍ချမည်။

⁴⁰I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats.

⁴¹ရှေရှက်မြို့ကိုတိုက်၍ ရလေပြီတကား။ မြေ တပြင်လုံး၌ ကျော်စောသော မြို့ကိုလုယူလေပြီတကား။ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည် အပြည်ပြည်တို့တွင် အံ့ဩရာဖြစ်လေပြီ တကား။

⁴¹How is Sheshach taken! and the praise of the whole earth seized! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

⁴²ပင်လယ်သည် ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်အပေါ်သို့တက်၍၊ များစွာသော လှိုင်းတံပိုးတို့သည် လွှမ်းမိုးကြပြီ။

⁴²The sea is come up upon Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

⁴³မြို့များတို့သည် သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းရာအရပ်၊ သွေ့ခြောက်သော လွင်ပြင်ဖြစ်ကြပြီ။ အဘယ်သူမျှ မနေရ။ လူသားတစုံတယောက်မျှ ထိုလမ်းကိုမရှောက်ရ။

⁴³Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

⁴⁴ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့၌ ဗေလဘုရားကိုလည်း ငါသည် ဒဏ်ပေးမည်။ သူမျိုသောအရာတို့ကို တဖန်အန်စေမည်။ လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် နောက်တဖန်သူ့ထံမှာ စည်းဝေးရကြ။ မြို့ရိုးလည်းပြိုလဲလျက်ရှိရလိမ့်မည်။

⁴⁴And I will execute judgment upon Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

⁴⁵ငါ၏လူတို့၊ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ထဲကထွက်ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပြင်းစွာသောအမျက်တော်မှ၊ အသီး အသီးကိုယ်အသက်ကို ကယ်နှုတ်ကြလော့။

⁴⁵My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of Jehovah.

⁴⁶ထိုပြည်၌ကြားရသော သိတင်းကြောင့် စိတ် မပျက်၊ ကြောက်လန့်ခြင်းမရှိကြနှင့်။ တနှစ်ထက်တနှစ် သိတင်းကြားရလိမ့်မည်။ မင်းချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက် လုယူ၍ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းအမှု ရှိရလိမ့်မည်။

⁴⁶And let not your heart faint, neither fear ye for the tidings that shall be heard in the land; for tidings shall come one year, and after that in another year [shall come] tidings, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

⁴⁷ထိုနောက်မှဗာဗုလုန်မြို့၌ ထုလုပ်သော ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတုတို့ကို ငါသည် ဒဏ်ပေးသဖြင့်၊ တပြည်လုံး မိန်းမောတွေဝေ၍၊ သူရဲအပေါင်းတို့သည် မြို့ထဲမှာ လဲလျက်သေကြသော အချိန်ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

⁴⁷Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment upon the graven images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be confounded; and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

⁴⁸ထိုသို့မြောက်မျက်နှာအရပ်က လုယူသော သူတို့ သည် ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ ရောက်လာသောအခါ၊ မိုဃ်းမြေမှစ၍ အရပ်ရပ်၌ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ရွှင်လန်းသော အသံကို ပြုကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁴⁸Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.

⁴⁹ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ကြောင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသူရဲတို့ သည် လဲ၍သေသကဲ့သို့၊ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ထဲမှာ ပြည်သား သူရဲအပေါင်းတို့သည် လဲ၍သေကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁴⁹As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the land.

⁵⁰ထားဘေးနှင့်လွတ်သောသူတို့၊ သွားကြလော့။ ရပ်၍မနေကြနှင့်။ ဝေးသောအရပ်၌ ထာဝရဘုရားကို အောက်မေ့၍၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကိုလည်း စိတ်စွဲလမ်းကြ လော့။

⁵⁰Ye that have escaped the sword, go ye, stand not still; remember Jehovah from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

⁵¹ငါတို့သည်ကဲ့ရဲ့သောအသံကို ကြားသော ကြောင့် အရှက်ကွဲလျက်၊ မျက်နှာပျက်လျက်နေရကြပါ၏။ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဗိမာန်တော်တွင်၊ သန့်ရှင်းရာ အရပ်ဌာနတော်တို့၏ အထဲသို့ဝင်ကြပါပြီ။

⁵¹We are confounded, because we have heard reproach; confusion hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of Jehovah's house.

⁵²သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်ကိုးကွယ်သော ရုပ်တုဆင်းတုတို့ကို ငါသည် ဒဏ်ပေး၍၊ တပြည်လုံး၌ ဒဏ်ချက်ထိသောသူတို့သည် ညည်းတွားကြသော အချိန်ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

⁵²Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will execute judgment upon her graven images; and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

⁵³ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်သို့တက်၍၊ မြို့ရိုးအထွဋ်ကို ခိုင်ခံ့စွာ တည်သော်လည်း၊ ငါစေလွှတ်၍ လုယူသော သူတို့သည် သူရှိရာသို့ ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁵³Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall destroyers come unto her, saith Jehovah.

⁵⁴ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့မှ ငိုကြွေးသံကို၎င်း၊ ခါလဒဲပြည်မှာ ပြင်းစွာသော ပျက်စီးသံကို၎င်း ကြားရ၏။

⁵⁴The sound of a cry from Babylon, and of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

⁵⁵အကြောင်းမူကား ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဗာဗုလုန် မြို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး၍၊ သူပြုတတ်သောအသံကြီးကို ငြိမ်းစေ တော်မူ၏။ သူ၏လှိုင်းတံပိုးတို့သည် အားကြီးသော ရေကဲ့သို့ ဟုန်ဟုန်းမြည်သံဖြင့်၊ ကြီးစွာသောအသံဗလံကို ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။

⁵⁵For Jehovah layeth Babylon waste, and destroyeth out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is uttered:

⁵⁶ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ကို တိုက်ဖျက်လုယူသော သူသည် ရောက်လျှင်၊ မြို့သားစစ်သူရဲတို့သည် ရန်သူတို့လက်သို့ ရောက်၍၊ သူတို့စွဲကိုင်သော လေးရှိသမျှတို့သည် ကျိုးကြ ၏။ အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို ပေးတတ်သောဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ဆက်ဆက်ပေးတော်မူပြီ။

⁵⁶for the destroyer is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, their bows are broken in pieces; for Jehovah is a God of recompenses, he will surely requite.

⁵⁷ဗာဗုလုန်မင်းသား၊ တိုင်ပင်မှူးမတ်၊ စစ်ကဲ၊ မင်း အရာရှိ၊ ခွန်အားကြီးသော သူတို့ကို ငါယစ်မူးစေသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည်နောက်တဖန်မနိုးဘဲ အစဉ်မပြတ် အိပ်ပျော် ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရား ဟူ၍ ဘွဲ့နာမရှိသော ရှင်ဘုရင်မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁵⁷And I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is Jehovah of hosts.

⁵⁸ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဒုကြီးသော ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ရိုးတို့ကို အကုန်အစင်ဖြိုဖျက်၍၊ မြင့်သောမြို့တံ ခါးတို့ကိုလည်း မီးရှို့ကြလိမ့်မည်။ လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် အချည်းနှီးလုပ် ဆောင်၍၊ မီး၌ပင်ပန်းခြင်းကို ခံရကြပြီ။

⁵⁸Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labor for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.

⁵⁹ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့အပေါ်မှာ ရောက်လတံ့သော၊ ဘေးဥပဒ်အပေါင်းတည်းဟူသော၊ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ကို ရည်မှတ်၍ ရေးထားသောဤစကားအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ပရောဖက်ယေရမိသည် ရေးကူး၍၊

⁵⁹The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief chamberlain.

⁶⁰ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင် ဇေဒကိနန်းစံလေးနှစ်တွင်၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်နှင့်အတူ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့လိုက်သွားသော၊ မာသေယ၏သားဖြစ်သောနေရိ၏ သားအတွင်း ဝန်စရာယ ကိုမှာထားသော စကားဟူမူကား၊

⁶⁰And Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.

⁶¹သင်သည် ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ဤစကားအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှု၍ ဘတ်ရမည်။

⁶¹And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, then see that thou read all these words,

⁶²ထိုအခါသင်က၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ဤအရပ်၌ လူမရှိ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်မရှိ၊ အစဉ်မပြတ် ဆိတ်ညံရာအရပ်ဖြစ်စေ၍၊ သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းမည် အကြောင်းကို ခြိမ်းတော်မူပြီဟု လျှောက်ဆိုရမည်။

⁶²and say, O Jehovah, thou hast spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

⁶³ဤစာကို အကုန်အစင်ဘတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ စာပေါ် မှာ ကျောက်ကို ချည်ထား၍၊ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်အလယ်မှာ ချပစ်လျက်၊

⁶³And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates:

⁶⁴ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သည် ဤသို့နစ်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ ရောက်စေသော ဘေးဥပဒ်ထဲကနောက်တဖန် မထ မြောက်ရ။ မြို့သူမြို့သားတို့သည် အားကုန်လျက် နေရကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ မြွက်ဆိုရမည်အကြောင်းကို၊ ယေရမိသည် မှာထားလေ၏။ ဤရွေ့ကား၊ ယေရမိစကားပေတည်း။

⁶⁴and thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise again because of the evil that I will bring upon her; and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
