¹And Jehovah said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people;

¹တဖန် မောရှေအား ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် အာရုန်၏သား၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့အားဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊ အမျိုးသားချင်း သေသောအတွက် သင်တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူမျှ ညစ်ညူးခြင်းမရှိရ။

²except for his kin, that is near unto him, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,

²သို့ရာတွင် ပေါက်ဘော်ရင်းတည်းဟူသော မိဘ၊ သားသမီး၊ ညီအစ်ကို၊-

³and for his sister a virgin, that is near unto him, that hath had no husband; for her may he defile himself.

³လင်မနေသော ကညာနှမရင်းအတွက် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းကို ခံရသော အခွင့်ရှိ၏။

⁴He shall not defile himself, [being] a chief man among his people, to profane himself.

⁴အမျိုးသားချင်း သူကြီးအတွက်၊ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်ရှုတ်ချ၍ ညစ်ညူးခြင်းမရှိရ။

⁵They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

⁵ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် ဆံပင်ကို မရိတ်ရ။ ပါးမုန်းကို မရိတ်ရ။ အသား၌ ခုတ်ရှခြင်းကို မပြုရ။

⁶They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God; for the offerings of Jehovah made by fire, the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

⁶သူသည် မိမိဘုရားသခင်အဘို့ သန့်ရှင်းရမည်။ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ နာမတော်ကို မရှုတ်မချရ။ ထာဝရဘုရားအား မီးဖြင့်ပြုသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာ၊ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ အစာအာဟာရကို ပူဇော်သော ကြောင့် သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းရှိရမည်။

⁷They shall not take a woman that is a harlot, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.

⁷သူသည် ပြည်တန်ဆာမိန်းမ၊ သီလပျက်သောမိန်းမ၊ လင်နှင့်ကွာသောမိန်းမနှင့် မစုံဘက်ရ။ မိမိဘုရား သခင်အဘို့ သန့်ရှင်း၏။

⁸Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I Jehovah, who sanctify you, am holy.

⁸သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင်ပွဲတော်ကို ဆက်သောကြောင့်၊ သူ့ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေ၍၊ သူသည် သင့်အဘို့ သန့်ရှင်းရမည်။ သင်တို့ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေသော ငါထာဝရဘုရား သန့်ရှင်း၏။

⁹And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the harlot, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

⁹ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သမီးသည်၊ ပြည်တန်ဆာလုပ်၍ ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ်ရှုတ်ချလျှင်၊ မိမိအဘကို ရှုတ်ချရာ ရောက်၏။ ထိုသူကို မီးရှို့ရမည်။

¹⁰And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head go loose, nor rend his clothes;

¹⁰မိမိအမျိုးသားချင်းတို့တွင်၊ အဝတ်တန်ဆာဆင်လျက်၊ အရာ၌ ခန့်ထား၍ မိမိခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ဆီလောင်းခြင်း ဘိသိက်ကိုခံသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းသည်၊ မိမိခေါင်း၌ တန်ဆာကို မချွတ်ရ။ မိမိအဝတ်ကို မဆုတ်ရ။

¹¹neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;

¹¹အသေကောင်ကို မချဉ်းရ။ မိဘအတွက် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းကို မခံရ။

¹²neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am Jehovah.

¹²သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်ထဲက မထွက်ရ။ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်ကို မရှုတ်မချရ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ ဘိသိက်ဆီနှင့်ဆိုင်သော သင်းကျစ်ကို ဆောင်းရသောသူ ဖြစ်၏။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။

¹³And he shall take a wife in her virginity.

¹³ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းသည်၊ အပျိုကညာနှင့်သာစုံဘက်ရမည်။

¹⁴A widow, or one divorced, or a profane woman, a harlot, these shall he not take: but a virgin of his own people shall he take to wife.

¹⁴မုတ်ဆိုးမ၊ လင်နှင့်ကွာသောမိန်းမ၊ သီလပျက်သောမိန်းမ၊ ပြည်တန်ဆာမိန်းမနှင့် မစုံဘက်ရ။ မိမိအမျိုးသားချင်း အပျိုကညာနှင့်သာ စုံဘက်ရမည်။

¹⁵And he shall not profane his seed among his people: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth him.

¹⁵မိမိသားကို၊ အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့တွင် မရှုတ်မချရ။ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းကို သန့်ရှင်းစေသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁶And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁶တဖန်မောရှေအား ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် အာရုန်အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊-

¹⁷Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed throughout their generations that hath a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

¹⁷သင်၏ အမျိုးအစဉ်အဆက်တွင် ကိုယ်၌အပြစ်ရှိသောသူသည်၊ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ ပွဲတော်ကို ဆက်ကပ်အံ့သောငှါ မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။

¹⁸For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or anything superfluous,

¹⁸မျက်စိကန်းသောသူ၊ ခြေဆွံ့သောသူ၊ နှာခေါင်းပိသောသူ၊ အင်္ဂါပိုလွန်သောသူ၊-

¹⁹or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

¹⁹လက်ကျိုးသောသူ၊ ခြေကျိုးသောသူ၊

²⁰or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

²⁰ကျောကုန်းသောသူ၊ ပုသောသူ၊ မျက်စိနာသောသူ၊ ဝဲစွဲသောသူ၊ ယားနာစွဲသောသူ၊ ဝှေးစေ့ပျက်သော သူသည် မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။-

²¹no man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

²¹ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အာရုန်အမျိုးတွင်၊ ကိုယ်၌ အပြစ်ပါသောသူ တစုံတယောက်မျှ ထာဝရဘုရားအား မီးဖြင့်ပြုသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို ဆက်ကပ်အံ့သောငှါ မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။ ကိုယ်၌ အပြစ်ပါသောကြောင့်၊ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ မုန့်တော်ကို ဆက်ကပ်အံ့သောငှါ မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။ -

²²He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy:

²²သန့်ရှင်းသော မုန့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အလွန်သန့်ရှင်းသော မုန့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မိမိဘုရားသခင်၏ မုန့်တော်ကို စားရမည်။

²³only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

²³ကိုယ်၌ အပြစ်ပါသောကြောင့်၊ ငါ့သန့်ရှင်းရာ ဌာနအရပ်တို့ကို ရှုတ်ချမည်ကို စိုးရိမ်၍၊ ကုလားကာ အတွင်းသို့ မဝင်ရ။ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်သို့ မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထိုအရပ်တို့ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေ သည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁴So Moses spake unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

²⁴မောရှေသည် အာရုန်နှင့် သူ၏သား ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုလေ၏။
