¹And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!

¹တပည့်တော်တို့အား တဖန်မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ မှားယွင်းစရာအကြောင်းရှိရမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း မှားယွင်းစရာအကြောင်းကိုဖြစ်စေသောသူသည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။

²It were well for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

²ဤသူငယ်တစုံတယောက်ကို မှားယွင်းစေသည်ထက်၊ လည်ပင်း၌ ကြိတ်ဆုံကျောက်ကို ဆွဲ၍ ပင်လယ် ၌ ချခြင်းကို ခံရလျှင် အနေသာ၍ကောင်း၏။

³Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

³သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် သတိပြုကြလော့။ သင်၏ ညီအစ်ကိုသည် သင့်ကိုပြစ်မှားလျှင် သူ့ကို ဆုံး မလော့။ သူသည် နောင်တရလျှင် သူ၏အပြစ်ကိုလွှတ်လော့။

⁴And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

⁴တနေ့ခြင်းတွင် ခုနစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် သင့်ကိုပြစ်မှား၍၊ ခုနစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် သင့်ထံသို့ လှည့် ၍ နောင်တရပါ၏ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ သူ၏အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁵And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

⁵တမန်တော်တို့က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းစိတ်ကို တိုးပွားစေတော်မူပါဟု သခင်ဘုရားကို တောင်း ပန်ကြလျှင်၊

⁶And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.

⁶သခင်ဘုရားက၊ သင်တို့သည် မုန်ညင်းစေ့ခန့်မျှလောက်သော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းရှိလျှင် ထိုသဖန်းပင်ကို၊ အချင်းအပင်၊ သင်သည် အမြစ်နှင့်တကွနှုတ်၍ ပင်လယ်၌စိုက်လျက်နေလော့ဟု ဆိုကြသော် သင်တို့ စကားကို နားထောင်လိမ့်မည်။

⁷But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say unto him, when he is come in from the field, Come straightway and sit down to meat;

⁷အစေအပါးသည် လယ်ထွန်သော်၎င်း၊ သိုး၊ နွားကျောင်းသော်၎င်း၊ လယ်ပြင်မှလာ၍ အိမ်သို့ဝင်သော အခါ၊ ထိုအစေအပါးကို၊ အသော့လာ၍ စားပွဲ၌ လျောင်းလော့ဟု သင်တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူပြောမည်နည်း။

⁸and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

⁸ထိုအစေအပါးကို၊ ငါစားစရာဘို့ပြင်လော့။ ငါစားသောက်စဉ်တွင် ခါးကိုစည်း၍ ငါ့ကို လုပ်ကျွေး လော့။ ထိုနောက်မှ သင်သည် စားသောက်ရမည်ဟု ပြောမည်မဟုတ်လော။

⁹Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?

⁹ထိုအစေအပါးသည် သခင်စီရင်သည်အတိုင်း ပြုသောကြောင့်၊ သခင်၌ ကျေးဇူးတင်သလော။ ကျေးဇူး မတင်။

¹⁰Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.

¹⁰ထိုနည်းတူမှာ ထားတော်မူသမျှတို့ကို သင်တို့သည် ကျင့်ပြီးမှ၊ ငါတို့သည် သခင်၌ ကျေးဇူးပြုသော အစေအပါးဖြစ်သည်မဟုတ်။ ဝတ်ပြေရုံမျှသာရှိသည်ဟု ဝန်ခံကြလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹And it came to pass, as they were on their way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.

¹¹ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ကြွတော်မူစဉ်၊ ရှမာရိပြည် နှင့်ဂါလိလဲပြည်စပ်ကြား၌ ရှောက်သွားတော်မူ၏။

¹²And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off:

¹²ရွာတရွာသို့ ဝင်တော်မူသည်တွင်၊ နူနာစွဲသော သူတကျိပ်တို့သည် ခရီးဦးကြိုပြု၍ အဝေးကရပ်လျက်၊

¹³and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

¹³သခင်ယေရှု၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါဟု ဟစ်ကြော်ကြ၏။

¹⁴And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.

¹⁴ယေရှုသည် မြင်တော်မူလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထံသို့သွား၍ ကိုယ်ကိုပြကြလော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ သူတို့သည် သွားစဉ်တွင် သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။

¹⁵And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God;

¹⁵ထိုသူတို့တွင် တယောက်သောသူသည် အနာရောဂါကင်းလွတ်သည်ကို သိမြင်လျှင်၊ ပြန်လာ၍ ကြီး သော အသံနှင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလေ၏။

¹⁶and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

¹⁶ခြေတော်ရင်း၌ ပြပ်ဝပ်၍ ကျေးဇူတော်ကြီးလှပါသည်ဟု ဝန်ခံလေ၏။ ထိုသူသည် ရှမာရိလူဖြစ် သတည်း။

¹⁷And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

¹⁷ယေရှုကလည်း၊ တကျိပ်သောသူတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြသည်မဟုတ်လော။ ကိုးယောက် သောသူတို့သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိကြသနည်း။

¹⁸Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?

¹⁸ဤတပါးအမျိုးသားကိုထား၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းငှါ ပြန်လာသောသူ တယောက် မျှ မရှိသလောဟု မေးတော်မူပြီးမှ၊

¹⁹And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

¹⁹သင်ထ၍ သွားလော့။ သင်၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် သင်၏အနာကိုငြိမ်းစေပြီဟု ထိုသူအား မိန့်တော် မူ၏။

²⁰And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

²⁰ဖာရိရှဲတို့သည် လာ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်သည် အဘယ်ကာလမှ တည်ပါမည်နည်းဟု မေး လျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊ ယေရှုက၊ ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သည် မျက်မြင်သောအရာ၌ မတည်။

²¹neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.

²¹ဤအရပ်၌ကြည့်ပါ။ ထိုအရပ်၌ ကြည့်ပါဟု ပြောစရာအခွင့်မရှိ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်သည် သင်တို့၏အထဲ၌ရှိသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²²And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

²²တဖန် တပည့်တော်တို့အား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည် လူသား၏နေ့ရက်တရက်ကိုမျှ တွေ့ မြင်လို၍၊ မတွေ့မမြင်ရသောအချိန်ကာလ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

²³And they shall say to you, Lo, there! Lo, here! go not away, nor follow after [them]:

²³ဤအရပ်၌ကြည့်ပါ။ ထိုအရပ်၌ကြည့်ပါဟု သင်တို့အားပြောဆိုသော်လည်း မလိုက်မသွားကြနှင့်။

²⁴for as the lightning, when it lighteneth out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.

²⁴ကောင်းကင်တဘက်မှ ပြက်သောလျှပ်စစ်သည် ကောင်းကင်အနှံ့အပြား ထွန်းလင်းသကဲ့သို့၊ လူသား သည် မိမိနေ့ရက်၌ ဖြစ်တော်မူလတံ့။

²⁵But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.

²⁵ထိုသို့မဖြစ်မှီ သူသည် များစွာသောဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခကို၎င်း၊ ယခုလူမျိုး၏ ငြင်းပယ်ခြင်းကို၎င်း ခံရမည်။

²⁶And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

²⁶နောဧလက်ထက်၌ဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ လူသားလက်ထက်၌ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။

²⁷They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

²⁷နောဧသည် သင်္ဘောထဲသို့ဝင်၍၊ ရေလွှမ်းမိုးခြင်းဖြစ်သဖြင့် လူခပ်သိမ်းတို့ကို သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းသည် နေ့တိုင်အောင် လူများတို့သည် စားသောက်လျက်၊ ထိမ်းမြားစုံဘက်လျက်နေကြ၏။

²⁸Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

²⁸ထိုနည်းတူ၊ လောတလက်ထက်၌ လူများတို့သည် စားသောက်ရောင်းဝယ်လျက်၊ စိုက်ပျိုးလျက်၊ အိမ် ဆောက်လျက်နေသကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊

²⁹but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:

²⁹လောတသည် သောဒုံမြို့မှထွက်သောနေ့၌ ကောင်းကင်မှ ကန့်နှင့်ရောသောမီးမိုဃ်းရွာ၍ ထိုလူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းသကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊

³⁰after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.

³⁰လူသားပေါ်ထွန်းသောနေ့၌ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။

³¹In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.

³¹ထိုနေ့ရက်၌ အိမ်မိုးပေါ်မှာရှိသောသူသည် မိမိ အိမ်ထဲမှာရှိသောဥစ္စာကို ယူခြင်းငှါ မဆင်းစေနှင့်။ ထိုအတူ၊ လယ်၌ရှိသောသူသည် နောက်သို့လှည့်၍ မပြန်လာစေနှင့်။

³²Remember Lot's wife.

³²လောတ၏မယားကို အောက်မေ့ကြလော့။

³³Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose [his life] shall preserve it.

³³အကြင်သူသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်ဆယ်ခြင်းငှါရှာကြံ၏။ ထိုသူသည် အသက်ရှုံးလိမ့်မည်။ အကြင်သူသည် အသက်ရှုံး၏။ ထိုသူသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်ဆယ်လိမ့်မည်။

³⁴I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

³⁴ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ ထိုနေ့ညဉ့်တွင် အိပ်ရာတခု၌ ရှိသောသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့တွင် တယောက်ကို သိမ်းယူ၍ တယောက်မူကား နေရစ်ရလတံ့။

³⁵There shall be two women grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

³⁵ကြိတ်ဆုံကြိတ်သောသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့တွင် တယောက်ကိုသိမ်းယူ၍ တယောက်မူကား နေရစ်ရလတံ့။

³⁶[There shall be two men in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.]

³⁶လယ်၌ရှိသော သူနှစ်ယောက်တို့တွင် တယောက်ကို သိမ်းယူ၍ တယောက်မူကား နေရစ်ရလတံ့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊

³⁷And they answering say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body [is], thither will the eagles also be gathered together.

³⁷သခင်၊ အဘယ်အရပ်၌ ထိုသို့ဖြစ်ပမည်နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြသော်၊ အသေကောင်ရှိရာအရပ်၌ ရွှေ လင်းတတို့သည် စုဝေးကြလတံ့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
