¹And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples,

¹ယေရုရှလင်မြို့နှင့် အနီးသံလွင်တောင်ခြေရင်း၌ ဗက်သနိရွာသို့ရောက်ကြသေအခါ တပည့်တော်နှစ် ယောက်တို့ကို စေလွှတ်တောမမူ၍၊

²and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him.

²သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ ရှိသောရွာသို့သွားကြ။ ထိုရွာသို့ရောက်လျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှမစီးဘူသော မြည်းကလေး ချည်နှောင်လျက်ရှိသည်ကို သင်တို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ မြည်းကြိုးကို ဖြည်၍ဆောင်ခံကြ။

³And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither.

³သူတပါးက၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ပြုသနည်းဟု သင်တို့အားဆိုလျှင်၊ သခင်အလိုရှိသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြလော့။ ထိုသို့ပြောလျှင် သူတို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းပေးလိုက်မည်ဟု မှာထားတော်မူ၏။

⁴And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him.

⁴တပည့်တော်တို့သည်သွား၍ လမ်း၌တံခါးပြင်မှာ ချည်ထားသောမြည်းကလေးကို တွေ့ပြီးလျှင် မြည်း ကြိုးကို ဖြည်ကြ၏။

⁵And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

⁵ထိုအရပ်၌ ရပ်နေသောလူအချို့တို့က၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မြည်းကြိုးကိုဖြည်သနည်းဟုဆိုလျှင်၊

⁶And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go.

⁶ယေရှုမှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ပြန်ပြောပြီးမှ ထိုသူတို့သည် အခွင့်ပေးကြ၏။

⁷And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him.

⁷ယေရှုထံတော်သို့ မြည်းကလေးကိုဆောင်ခဲ့၍ မိမိတို့အဝတ်ကို မြည်းကျောပေါ်မှာ တင်ကြပြီးလျှင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် စီးတော်မူ၏။

⁸And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields.

⁸လူအများတို့သည် မိမိတို့အဝတ်ကိုလမ်း၌ ခင်းကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် သစ်ကိုင်းသစ်ခတ်များကို ခုတ်၍ လမ်း၌ ခင်းကြ၏။

⁹And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

⁹ရှေ့နောက်လိုက်သွားသောသူတို့က၊ ဟောရှဏ္ဏဖြစ်စေသတည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏အခွင့်နှင့် ကြွတော်မူ သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိစေသတည်း။

¹⁰Blessed [is] the kingdom that cometh, [the kingdom] of our father David: Hosanna in the highest.

¹⁰ထာဝရဘုရား၏အခွင့်နှင့် ယခုတည်လုသော ငါတို့အဘဒါဝိဒ်၏နိုင်ငံတော်သည် မင်္ဂလာရှိစေ သတည်း။ ကောင်းကင်ဘဝဂ်ဝယ် ဟောရှဏ္ဏဖြစ်စေသတည်းဟု ကြွေးကြော်ကြ၏။

¹¹And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

¹¹ယေရှုသည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့၎င်း၊ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့၎င်း ဝင်၍အရာရာတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုတော်မူပြီးလျှင် မိုဃ်းချုပ်သောကြောင့် တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသောသူတို့နှင့်တကွ ဗေသနိရွာသို့ ထွက်ကြွတော်မူ၏။

¹²And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered.

¹²နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ ဗေသနိရွာမှပြန်ကြစဉ်တွင် ဆာမွတ်တော်မူ၏။

¹³And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.

¹³အရွက်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်ကိုအဝေးကမြင်လျှင်။ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီးဆွတ်ချိန်ကာလ မ ရောက်သေးသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုအပင်၌ အသီးကိုတွေ့ကောင်းတွေ့လိမ့်မည်ဟု ကြွသွား၍ရောက်သောအခါ၊ အရွက်ကိုသာ တွေ့တော်မူသည်ရှိသော်၊

¹⁴And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it.

¹⁴ယခုမှစ၍အစဉ်မပြတ် သင်၏အသီးကို အဘယ်သူမျှမစားစေနှင့်မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော် တို့သည် လည်း ကြားကြ၏။

¹⁵And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;

¹⁵ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ ယေရှုသည် ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ ဝင်တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌ ရောင်းဝယ်သောသူတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်၍ ပွဲစားခုံတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ချိုးငှက်ရောင်းသောသူတို့၏ ထိုင်ရာကို၎င်း တွန်းလှဲ တော်မူ၍၊

¹⁶and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple.

¹⁶ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲ၌ အဆောက်အဦးကို အဘယ်သူမျှ မဆောင်မရွက်ရမည်အကြောင်း မြစ်တားတော် မူလျက်၊

¹⁷And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.

¹⁷ငါ့အိမ်ကို လူအမျိုးမျိုး ဆုတောင်းရာအိမ်ဟူ၍ ခေါ်ဝေါ်ကြလတံ့ဟု ကျမ်းစာ၌လာသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း သင်တို့သည် ထိုအိမ်ကို ထားပြတွင်းဖြစ်စေကြပြီးတကားဟူ၍ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူ၏။

¹⁸And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

¹⁸ကျမ်းပြုဆရာနှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီးတို့သည်ကြားလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို သတ်ရသောအခွင့်ကို ရှာကြံကြ၏။ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူခြင်းကို အံ့ဩမိန်းမောသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ကြ၏။

¹⁹And every evening he went forth out of the city.

¹⁹ညအချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ မြို့ပြင်သို့ထွက်တော်မူ၏။

²⁰And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.

²⁰နံနက်အချိန်တွင် လမ်း၌သွားကြစဉ်၊ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်သည် အမြစ်မှစ၍သွေ့ခြောက်လျက်ရှိသည်ကို မြင်ကြ၏။

²¹And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

²¹ပေတရုသည် သတိရလျှင်၊ အရှင်ဘုရားကြည့်တော်မူပါ။ ကျိန်းတော်မူသော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်သည် သွေ့ခြောက်ပါပြီတကားဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။

²²And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

²²ယေရှုကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်ကို ယုံကြည်ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။

²³Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.

²³ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ အကြင်သူသည် ယုံမှားသောစိတ်နှင့်ကင်း၍ မိမိဆိုသည်အတိုင်းဖြစ်မည်ဟု ယုံ ကြည်လျက်။ ထိုတောင်ကို နေရာမှရွေ့လော့၊ ပင်လယ်၌ ကျလော့ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ ထိုသူဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်။

²⁴Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

²⁴ထိုကြောင့်ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည် ကျေးဇူးကိုရမည်ဟု ယုံကြည်သောစိတ်နှင့် ဆုတောင်းသမျှ တို့ကို ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁵And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

²⁵သင်တို့သည် ဆုတောင်းသောအခါ သူတပါး၌အပြစ်တင်ခွင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ သူ့အပြစ်ကိုလွှတ်ကြလော့။ လွှတ်လျှင် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော သင်တို့အဘသည် သင်တို့၏အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်တော်မူမည်။

²⁶[But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.]

²⁶သင်တို့သည် သူ့အပြစ်ကို မလွှတ်လျှင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသောသင်တို့အဘသည် သင်တို့၏ အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်တော်မမူဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁷And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;

²⁷ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ တဖန်ရောက်ကြပြီးမှ ဗိမာန်တော်တွင် စင်္ကြံသွားတော်မူစဉ်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြုဆရာ၊ လူအကြီးအကဲတို့သည် အထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊

²⁸and they said unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? or who gave thee this authority to do these things?

²⁸ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ်အခွင့်နှင့်ပြုသနည်း။ ဤသို့ပြုသောအခွင့်ကို အဘယ်သူပေး သနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြသော်၊

²⁹And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

²⁹ယေရှုက၊ ငါသည်တစုံတခုကိုမေးဦးမည်။ သင်တို့ဖြေကြလော့။ ဖြေလျှင်ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ်အခွင့် နှင့် ငါပြုသည်ကို ငါပြောမည်။

³⁰The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.

³⁰ယောဟန်၏ ဗတ္တိဇံတရားသည် ဘုရားကဖြစ်သလော။ လူကဖြစ်သလော။ ဤအမေးကို ဖြေကြလော့ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³¹And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

³¹ထိုသူတို့သည် အချင်းချင်းဆင်ခြင်ကြ၍၊ ဘုရားကဖြစ်သည်ဟု ငါတို့ဖြေလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည်ယောဟန် ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့်မယုံသနည်းဟု သူမေးလေဦးမည်။

³²But should we say, From men--they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet.

³²လူကဖြစ်သည်ဟု ငါတို့ဖြေလျှင်၊ လူများကိုကြောက်ရ၏။ ယောဟန်သည် ပရောဖက် အမှန်ဖြစ်သည် ကို လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အယူရှိကြ၏ဟု အချင်းချင်းဆင်ခြင်ပြီးမှ၊

³³And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

³³အကျွန်ုပ်တို့မသိပါဟု ယေရှုအားပြန်ပြောကြ၏။ ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ထိုအတူ ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ် အခွင့်နှင့် ငါပြုသည်ကို ငါမပြောဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
