1A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah; But a just weight is his delight.
1မမှန်သောချိန်ခွင်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာတော်မူဘွယ်၊ မှန်သောအလေးမူကား၊ နှစ်သက် တော်မူဘွယ်ဖြစ်၏။
2When pride cometh, then cometh shame; But with the lowly is wisdom.
2မာနထောင်လွှားသောအခါ အရှက်ကွဲခြင်း ဖြစ်တတ်၏။ စိတ်နှိမ့်ချသောသူတို့၌ကား ပညာရှိ၏။
3The integrity of the upright shall guide them; But the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them.
3ဖြောင့်သောသဘောသည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့ကိုပဲ့ပြင်တတ်၏။ ကောက်သောသဘောမူကား၊ လွန်ကျူးသောသူတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးတတ်၏။
4Riches profit not in the day of wrath; But righteousness delivereth from death.
4အမျက်ဒေါသထွက်သောကာလ၌ စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာသည် အကျိုးမပေးနိုင်။ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းပါရမီမူကား၊ သေခြင်းမှကယ်တင်တတ်၏။
5The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way; But the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
5ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း ပါရမီသည်စုံလင်သောသူတို့ကို ပဲ့ပြင်တတ်၏။ မတရားသောသူမူကား၊ မိမိမတရားသော အမှုအားဖြင့် ဆုံးရှုံးတတ်၏။
6The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them; But the treacherous shall be taken in their own iniquity.
6ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့၏ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သဘောသည် သူတို့ကိုကယ်တင်တတ်၏။ လွန်ကျူးသော သူတို့မူကား၊ မိမိတို့အဓမ္မ၌ ကျော့မိတတ်ကြ၏။
7When a wicked man dieth, [his] expectation shall perish; And the hope of iniquity perisheth.
7ဆိုးသောသူသည် သေသောအခါ မြော်လင့်ခြင်း ပျက်တတ်၏။ မတရားသောသူ၏တောင့်တခြင်းလည်း ပျက်တတ်၏။
8The righteous is delivered out of trouble, And the wicked cometh in his stead.
8ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် ဒုက္ခထဲက ထွက် မြောက်၍၊ သူ့ကိုယ်စား မတရားသောသူခံရ၏။
9With his mouth the godless man destroyeth his neighbor; But through knowledge shall the righteous be delivered.
9အဓမ္မလူသည် မိမိနှုတ်ဖြင့် မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းကို ဖျက်တတ်၏။ တရားသောသူမူကား၊ ပညာအတတ် အားဖြင့် အမှုလွတ်တတ်၏။
10When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth; And when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
10တရားသောသူသည် ကောင်းစားသောအခါ တမြို့လုံး ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ရှိ၏။ မတရားသောသူသည် ဆုံးရှုံးသောအခါမူကား၊ ကြွေးကြော်ခြင်းရှိ၏။
11By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted; But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
11တရားသောသူသည် ကောင်းကြီးပေးသော အားဖြင့် သူ၏နေရာမြို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့၎င်း၊ မတရားသော သူ၏နှုတ်ဖြင့် ဖြိုဖျက်ခြင်းသို့၎င်း ရောက် တတ်၏။
12He that despiseth his neighbor is void of wisdom; But a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
12ပညာမဲ့သောသူသည် မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုတတ်၏။ ဥာဏ်ကောင်းသောသူမူကား၊ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ နေတတ်၏။
13He that goeth about as a tale-bearer revealeth secrets; But he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth a matter.
13လည်၍စကားများစွာ ပြောတတ်သောသူသည် လျှို့ဝှက်အပ်သောအရာကို ဘော်ပြတတ်၏။ သစ္စာစောင့် သောသူမူကာ၊ ဝှက်ထားတတ်၏။
14Where no wise guidance is, the people falleth; But in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
14အကြံပေးနိုင်သော ဥာဏ်မရှိလျှင် ပြည်သားတို့ သည် ရှုံးတတ်၏။ အကြံပေးနိုင်သောသူ အများရှိလျှင် မူကား၊ ဘေးလွတ်တတ်၏။
15He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it; But he that hateth suretyship is secure.
15အကျွမ်းမဝင်သောသူ၏ အမှု၌အာမခံသော သူသည် အလွန်နာလိမ့်မည်။ လက်ဝါးချင်းရိုက်သော အမှု ကို မုန်းသောသူမူကား၊ စိုးရိမ်စရာမရှိ။
16A gracious woman obtaineth honor; And violent men obtain riches.
16နှစ်သက်ဘွယ်သောမိန်းမသည် ဂုဏ်အသရေ ကို၎င်း၊ ခွန်အားကြီးသော ယောက်ျားသည် စည်းစိမ်ကို ၎င်း ရတတ်၏။
17The merciful man doeth good to his own soul; But he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
17သနားတတ်သောသူသည် မိမိကိုယ်၌ ကျေးဇူး ပြုတတ်၏။ ကြမ်းကြုတ်သောသူမူကား၊ မိမိကိုယ်ကိုပင် နှောင့်ရှက်တတ်၏။
18The wicked earneth deceitful wages; But he that soweth righteousness [hath] a sure reward.
18မတရားသောသူပြုသော အမှုသည် အမြဲ မတည်တတ်။ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရားမျိုးစေ့ကို ကြဲသော သူမူကား၊ မြဲမြံသော အကျိုးကိုခံရလိမ့်မည်။
19He that is stedfast in righteousness [shall attain] unto life; And he that pursueth evil [doeth it] to his own death.
19ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရားသည် အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သကဲ့သို့၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကိုလိုက်ရှာသောသူသည်လည်း၊ မိမိသေခြင်းတိုင်အောင် လိုက်ရှာတတ်၏။
20They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah; But such as are perfect in [their] way are his delight.
20သဘောကောက်သောသူတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက်သော သူတို့ကိုကား၊ နှစ်သက်တော်မူ၏။
21[Though] hand [join] in hand, the evil man shall not be unpunished; But the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
21လူဆိုးတို့သည် အသင်းဖွဲ့သော်လည်း၊ အပြစ် ဒဏ်နှင့်မလွတ်ရကြ။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့၏ အမျိုး အနွှယ်မူကား လွတ်ရ၏။
22[As] a ring of gold in a swine's snout, [So is] a fair woman that is without discretion.
22သမ္မာသတိမရှိ၊ အဆင်းလှသော မိန်းမသည် ဝက်မနှာခေါင်းဖျား၌တပ်သော ရွှေတန်ဆာနှင့်တူ၏။
23The desire of the righteous is only good; [But] the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
23ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် မြတ်သောအရာကို သာတောင့်တတတ်၏။ မတရားသောသူမြော်လင့်သော အရာမူကား၊ ဒေါသအမျက်နှင့် ဆိုင်သတည်း။
24There is that scattereth, and increaseth yet more; And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] only to want.
24စွန့်ကြဲသော်လည်း ဥစ္စာတိုးပွါး တတ်သော သူရှိ၏။ အထောက်မတန်စုသိမ်း၍ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်သော သူလည်းရှိ၏။
25The liberal soul shall be made fat; And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
25စွန့်ကြဲတတ်သောသူသည် ကြွယ်ဝလိမ့်မည်။ သူတပါးကို ရေလောင်းသော သူသည် ကိုယ်တိုင် ရေလောင်းခြင်း အကျိုး ကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
26He that withholdeth grain, the people shall curse him; But blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.
26စပါးကိုသိုထားသော သူသည် လူများကျိန်ဆဲ ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ ရောင်းချသောသူ၏ခေါင်း၌မူကား၊ ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာရှိလိမ့်မည်။
27He that diligently seeketh good seeketh favor; But he that searcheth after evil, it shall come unto him.
27ကောင်းသောအရာကိုကြိုးစား၍ ရှာသော သူသည် ကျေးဇူးကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ သူ့အကျိုးကိုဖျက်ခြင်းငှါ ရှာကြံသောသူမူကား၊ ကိုယ်အကျိုးပျက်ခြင်းရှိလိမ့်မည်။
28He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; But the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.
28မိမိစည်းစိမ်ကို ကိုးစားသောသူသည် ရှုံးလိမ့် မည်။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူမူကား၊ သစ်ခက်ကဲ့သို့ စိမ်း လန်းလိမ့်မည်။
29He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind; And the foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart.
29မိမိအိမ်ကိုနှောင့်ရှက်သော သူသည် လေကို အမွေခံရလိမ့်မည်။ မိုက်သောသူသည်လည်း၊ လိမ္မာသော သူထံ၌ ကျွန်ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
30The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.
30ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ သီးသော အသီးသည် အသက်ပင်အသီးဖြစ်၏။ သူတပါးတို့၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်ကို ရသောသူသည်လည်း ပညာရှိဖြစ်၏။
31Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: How much more the wicked and the sinner!
31ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသော်လည်း မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ အပြစ်ဒဏ်ကို ခံရ၏။ မတရားသောသူနှင့် အပြစ် ထင်ရှားသောသူကိုမူကား၊ အဘယ်ဆိုဘွယ်ရာ ရှိသနည်း။
