1Every wise woman buildeth her house; But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.
1ပညာရှိသောမိန်းမသည် မိမိအိမ်ကို တည် ဆောက်တတ်၏။ မိုက်သောမိန်းမမူကား၊ ကိုယ်လက်နှင့် ဖြိုဖျက်တတ်၏။
2He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
2ဖြောင့်သောလမ်းသို့လိုက်သောသူသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့တတ်၏။ ကောက်သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက်သောသူမူကား၊ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုတတ်၏။
3In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for [his] pride; But the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
3မိုက်သောသူ၏ နှုတ်၌မာနကြိမ်လုံးရှိ၏။ ပညာ ရှိသောသူ၏ နှုတ်ခမ်းတို့သည် ကယ်တင်သောအမှုကို ပြုတတ်၏။
4Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.
4နွားထီးမရှိသော တင်းကုပ်သည် စင်ကြယ်၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ နွားခွန်အားကိုသုံး၍ များသောစီးပွားကို ရတတ်၏။
5A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness uttereth lies.
5သစ္စာရှိသောသက်သေသည် မုသာမသုံးတတ်။ သစ္စာပျက်သော သက်သေမူကား၊ မုသာကိုသုံးတတ်၏။
6A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and [findeth it] not; But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding.
6မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသောသူသည် ပညာကိုရှာ၍ မတွေ့ရာ။ ဥာဏ်ရှိသောသူမူကား၊ ပညာအတတ်ကို ရလွယ်၏။
7Go into the presence of a foolish man, And thou shalt not perceive [in him] the lips of knowledge.
7မိုက်သောသူနှင့်တွေ့၍ သူ၏နှုတ်၌ ပညာ အတတ်မရှိသည်ကို သိမြင်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူကို ရှောင်သွား လော့။
8The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit.
8ပညာသတိရှိသော သူ၏ပညာကား၊ ကိုယ်သွား ရသော လမ်းကို သိခြင်းတည်း။ မိုက်သောသူ၏ မိုက်ခြင်း မူကား၊ ပရိယာယ်တည်း။
9A trespass-offering mocketh fools; But among the upright there is good will.
9မိုက်သောသူတို့သည် ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို မထီ လေးစားပြုကြ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့မူကား၊ တယောက်ကိုတယောက် ကျေးဇူးပြုကြ၏။
10The heart knoweth its own bitterness; And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
10စိတ်နှလုံးသည် မိမိဒုက္ခကို သိ၏။ စိတ်နှလုံး ရွှင်လန်းခြင်း အကြောင်းကိုလည်း သူတပါးမဆိုင်တတ်။
11The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; But the tent of the upright shall flourish.
11မတရားသောသူ၏အိမ်သည် ပြိုလဲတတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူ၏တဲမူကား၊ ပွင့်လန်းတတ်၏။
12There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.
12လူထင်သည်အတိုင်း မှန်သောလက္ခဏာရှိသော် လည်း၊ အဆုံး၌ သေခြင်းသို့ပို့သော လမ်းတမျိုးရှိ၏။
13Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.
13လူသည် ရယ်စဉ်အခါပင်၊ ဝမ်းနည်းသော စိတ် သဘောရှိ၏။ ထိုရယ်မောရွှင်လန်းခြင်းအဆုံး၌လည်း ညှိုးငယ်ခြင်းရှိတတ်၏။
14The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways; And a good man [shall be satisfied] from himself.
14စိတ်နှလုံးဖေါက်ပြန်သောသူဖြစ်စေ၊ သူတော် ကောင်းဖြစ်စေ၊ မိမိအကျင့်တို့နှင့်ဝလိမ့်မည်။
15The simple believeth every word; But the prudent man looketh well to his going.
15ဥာဏ်တိမ်သော သူသည်သူတပါး ပြောသမျှကို ယုံတတ်၏။ ပညာသတိရှိသောသူမူကား၊ မိမိသွားရာ လမ်းကို စေ့စေ့ကြည့်ရှုတတ်၏။
16A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil; But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident.
16ပညာရှိသောသူသည် ကြောက်၍ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ရှောင်တတ်၏။ မိုက်သောသူမူကား မာနကြီး၍ ရဲရင့် တတ်၏။
17He that is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated.
17စိတ်တိုသောသူသည် မိုက်စွာသောအမှုကို ပြုတတ်၏။ မကောင်းသောအကြံကို ကြံသောသူကိုလည်း သူတပါးမုန်းလိမ့်မည်။
18The simple inherit folly; But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
18ဥာဏ်တိမ်သော သူသည်မိုက်ခြင်းကို အမွေခံ တတ်၏။ ပညာသတိရှိသောသူမူကား၊ သိပ္ပံသရဖူကို ဆောင်းတတ်၏။
19The evil bow down before the good; And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.
19လူဆိုးတို့သည် သူတော်ကောင်းရှေ့၌၎င်း၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ၏ အိမ် တံခါးဝ၌၎င်း ဦးချတတ်ကြ၏။
20The poor is hated even of his own neighbor; But the rich hath many friends.
20ဆင်းရဲသောသူသည် မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်း မုန်းခြင်း ကိုပင် ခံရမည်။ ငွေရတတ်သောသူ၌မူကား၊ များစွာ သော အဆွေခင်ပွန်းရှိလိမ့်မည်။
21He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth; But he that hath pity on the poor, happy is he.
21မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူသည် အပြစ်ရှိ၏။ ဆင်းရဲသော သူကိုသနားသောသူမူကား၊ မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
22Do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth [shall be to] them that devise good.
22မကောင်းသော အကြံကိုကြံတတ်သော သူတို့ သည် မှားယွင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျေးဇူးပြုမည်ဟု ကြံတတ် သောသူတို့မူကား၊ ကရုဏာအကျိုး နှင့်သစ္စာအကျိုးကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။
23In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to penury.
23ကြိုးစား၍ လုပ်လေရာရာ၌ကျေးဇူးရှိ၏။ စကား များခြင်းအကျိုးမူကား၊ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းသက်သက်တည်း။
24The crown of the wise is their riches; [But] the folly of fools is [only] folly.
24ပညာရှိသောသူတို့၏ စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာသည် သူတို့ ဦးရစ်သရဖူဖြစ်၏။ မိုက်သောသူတို့၏ မိုက်ခြင်းမူကား၊ အမိုက်သက်သက်ဖြစ်၏။
25A true witness delivereth souls; But he that uttereth lies [causeth] deceit.
25မှန်သောသက်သေသည် သူ့အသက်ကို ကယ် တင်တတ်၏။ မမှန်သောသက်သေမူကား၊ မုသာကို သုံးတတ်၏။
26In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence; And his children shall have a place of refuge.
26ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းသည် အားကြီး သော ကိုးစားရာအခွင့်ကိုဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ သားတော်တို့ သည်လည်း ၊ ခိုလှုံရာအရပ်ကို ရကြလိမ့်မည်။
27The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.
27ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသဘောသည် အသေခံရာ ကျော့ကွင်းတို့မှ လွှဲရှောင်ရာအသက် စမ်းရေ တွင်းဖြစ်၏။
28In the multitude of people is the king's glory; But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
28ပြည်သားများပြားရာ၌ ရှင်ဘုရင်၏ဘုန်းတော် တည်၏။ ပြည်သားနည်းပါးရာ၌ကား၊ မင်းအကျိုးနည်း ခြင်းရှိ၏။
29He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
29စိတ်ရှည်သောသူသည် ပညာကြီး၏။ စိတ်တို သောသူမူကား၊ အထူးသဖြင့် မိုက်ပေ၏။
30A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; But envy is the rottenness of the bones.
30ကျန်းမာသောနှလုံးသည် ကိုယ်အသက်ရှင်စေ သောအကြောင်း၊ ငြူစူသော သဘောမူကား၊ အရိုး ဆွေးမြေ့ခြင်းအကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။
31He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.
31ဆင်းရဲသားတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲသောသူသည် ဖန် ဆင်းတော်မူသော ဘုရားကိုကဲ့ရဲ့၏။ ဘုရားကို ရိုသေ သောသူမူကား၊ ဆင်းရဲသောသူတို့ကို သနားတတ်၏။
32The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing; But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.
32မတရားသောသူသည် မတရားသဖြင့် ပြုစဉ် အခါ၊ လှဲခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူမူကား၊ သေသောအခါ၌ပင် မြော်လင့်စရာရှိ၏။
33Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding; But [that which is] in the inward part of fools is made known.
33ဥာဏ်ရှိသောသူ၏ နှလုံး၌ပညာကျိန်းဝပ်တတ် ၏။ မိုက်သောသူတို့၏အထဲ၌ ရှိသောအရာမူကား၊ ထင်ရှားတတ်၏။
34Righteousness exalteth a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people.
34ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရားသည် ပြည်သားတို့ကို ချီးမြှောက်တတ်၏။ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်မူကား၊ ပြည်သားများ တို့ကို ရှုတ်ချတတ်၏။
35The king's favor is toward a servant that dealeth wisely; But his wrath will be [against] him that causeth shame.
35ပညာရှိသော အကျွန်အားရှင်ဘုရင်သည် ကျေးဇူးပြုတတ်၏။ အရှက်ခွဲတတ်သော ကျွန်မူကား၊ အမျက်တော်ကို ခံရမည်။
