¹အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ။ သူတော် ကောင်းမျိုးသည် ပြတ်၍ သစ္စာရှိသောလူမျိုးသည် လူသားတို့တွင် ကွယ်ပျောက်ပါ၏။

²They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.

²အိမ်နီးချင်းတို့သည် တဦးကိုတဦး မုသာသုံး၍ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်း၊ နှစ်ခွသော စိတ်နှင့်ပြောတတ် ကြပါ၏။

³Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that speaketh great things;

³ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်လျှာအားဖြင့် နိုင်မည်။

⁴Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; Our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

⁴ကိုယ်နှုတ်ခမ်းသည် ကိုယ်အမှုကို စောင့်လိမ့် မည်။ ငါတို့၏သခင်ကား အဘယ်သူနည်းဟု ပြောဆို သော သူတို့၏ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်းနှင့် ဝါကြွားသော လျှာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဖြတ်တော်မူမည်။

⁵Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.

⁵ဆင်းရဲသောသူသည် ခံရသောညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူ၏ ငိုကြွေးခြင်းကြောင့် ယခုငါထမည်။ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုခံရသော သူအား ချမ်းသာပေးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁶The words of Jehovah are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, Purified seven times.

⁶ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူချက်တို့သည် သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းရှိ၍ မြေနှင့် ကင်းစင်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိုက်၌ခုနစ်ကြိမ် စစ်သော ငွေကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁷Thou wilt keep them, O Jehovah, Thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever.

⁷အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုသူတို့ကို ဤလူမျိုးမှ အစဉ်ကာကွယ်စောင့်မတော်မူမည်။

⁸The wicked walk on every side, When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

⁸ဆိုးယုတ်သောသူတို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည် ကာလ၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ် လှည့်လည်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြ၏။
