1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: From whence shall my help come?
1ငါ့ကိုမစခြင်း အကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ သော တောင်ရိုးသို့ ငါမျှော်ကြည့်၏။
2My help [cometh] from Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.
2ကော်းကင်နှင့်မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား ထံတော်မှ၊ ငါ့ကို မစခြင်းအကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ၏။
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
3သင်၏ ခြေကို ချော်စေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်ပေးတော် မမူ။ သင့်ကို စောင့်သောသူသည် အိပ်တော်မမူ။
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
4အကယ်စင်စစ် ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို စောင့် သောသူသည် ငိုက်မျဉ်းအိပ်ပျော်ခြင်း ရှိတော်မမူ။
5Jehovah is thy keeper: Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand.
5ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို စောင့်တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏လက်ျာဘက်၌ရှိသော သင်ခိုလှုံရာ အရိပ်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.
6နေ့အချိန်၌ နေအားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ညဉ့်အချိန်၌ လအားဖြင့်၎င်း အထိအခိုက်မရှိရာ။
7Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; He will keep thy soul.
7ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မကောင်းသောအမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကွယ်ကာ၍၊ သင်၏အသက်ကို စောင့်တော် မူလိမ့်မည်။
8Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth and for evermore.
8ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏ ထွက်ခြင်းနှင့် ဝင်ခြင်းတို့ကို ယခုမှစ၍ အစဉ်အပြတ် စောင့်တော်မူ လိမ့်မည်။
