¹Praise ye Jehovah. Sing unto Jehovah a new song, And his praise in the assembly of the saints.

¹ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ အသစ်သောသီချင်း ကို ဆို၍၊ သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့ စည်းဝေးရာ၌ ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။

²Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

²ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် မိမိကိုဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသော ဘုရားကိုအမှီပြု၍ ဝမ်းမြောက်စေ။ ဇိအုန် သားတို့သည် မိမိတို့ရှင်ဘုရင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ ရွှင်လန်း ကြစေ။

³Let them praise his name in the dance: Let them sing praises unto him with timbrel and harp.

³သူတို့သည် ကခုန်လျက် နာမတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြစေ။ ပတ်သာနှင့်စောင်းကို တီးလျက် ထောမနာ သီချင်းဆိုကြစေ။

⁴For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိလူစု ကို နှစ်သက်တော်မူ၏။ စိတ်နှိမ့်ချသောသူတို့ကို ကယ်တင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အသရေတင့်တယ်စေတော်မူ၏။

⁵Let the saints exult in glory: Let them sing for joy upon their beds.

⁵သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့သည် ဘုန်းကြီး၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် ဝမ်းသာကြစေ။ ကျိန်းဝပ်ရာပေါ်မှာ ရွှင်လန်းစွာ သီချင်း ဆိုကြစေ။

⁶[Let] the high praises of God [be] in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand;

⁶တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့အား တရားအတိုင်း အပြစ် ပေး၍၊ လူစုတို့အား ဒဏ်ခတ်ခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ သူတို့၏ ရှင်ဘုရင်များကို သံကြိုးနှင့် ချည်နှောင်၍၊ မှူးမတ်များ ကို သံခြေချင်းခတ်ခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ကျမ်းစာ၌မှတ်သားသော အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကိုသူတို့အား ပြုခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း သူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကို နှုတ်နှင့်ချီးမွမ်း ၍၊ သန်လျင်ကို လက်နှင့်ကိုင်ကြစေ။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သန့်ရှင်းအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထိုသို့သောဘုန်းနှင့်ဆိုင်ကြ၏။ ဟာလေလုယ။

⁷To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishments upon the peoples;

⁸To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;

⁹To execute upon them the judgment written: This honor have all his saints. Praise ye Jehovah.
