¹A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

¹ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ၏။ သန့်ရှင်း သော တောင်တော်ပေါ်မှာ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်၏ မြို့တော် တွင် အထူးသဖြင့် ထောမနာချီးမွမ်းခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် တော်မူ၏။

²Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

²မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံးရွှင်လန်းရာ ဇိအုန်တောင်ထိပ် သည် အဆင်းလှပေ၏။ မြောက်မျက်နှာဘက်၌ မဟာ မင်းကြီး၏ မြို့တော်သည် တည်၏။

³God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.

³ထိုမြို့၏ ဘုံဗိမာန်တို့တွင် ဘုရားသခင်၌ ခိုလှုံ ရသည်ကို သိရ၏။

⁴For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together.

⁴ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့သည် စည်းဝေး၍ အတူရှောက်သွား ကြ၏။

⁵They saw it, then were they amazed; They were dismayed, they hasted away.

⁵မြင်သောအခါ မှိုင်တွေ၍ ထိတ်လန့်လျက် ပြေးကြ၏။

⁶Trembling took hold of them there, Pain, as of a woman in travail.

⁶ထိုအရပ်၌ သူတို့သည် ကြောက်လန့်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၍ သားဘွားသောမိန်းမ ခံရသကဲ့သို့ ဝေဒနာ ရှိကြ၏။

⁷With the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.

⁷တာရှုသင်္ဘောတို့ကို ချိုးဖက်သော အရှေ့လေ နှင့်တွေ့သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah

⁸ငါတို့သည် ကြားဘူးသည်အတိုင်း၊ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏မြို့၊ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်၏ မြို့တော်၌တွေ့မြင်ရကြ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မြို့တော် ကို အစဉ်အမြဲတည်စေတော်မူမည်။

⁹We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

⁹အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဗိမာန်တော် ထဲမှာ ကရုဏာတော်ကို အောက်မေ့ကြပါ၏။

¹⁰As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹⁰အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ နာမတော်သည် မြေကြီးစွန်း တိုင်အောင် နှံ့ပြားသည်နည်းတူ၊ ဂုဏ်အသရေတော် လည်း နှံ့ပြားလျက်ရှိ၏။ လက်ျာလက်တော်သည် ဖြောင့် မတ်ခြင်းတရားနှင့် ပြည့်ဝလျက်ရှိပါ၏။

¹¹Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.

¹¹တရားစီရင်တော်မူချက်များကြောင့် ဇိအုန် တောင်သည် ဝမ်းမြောက်၍၊ ယုဒအမျိုးသမီးတို့သည် ရွှင်လန်းကြပါ၏။

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;

¹²သားမြေးတို့အား ကြားပြောမည်အကြောင်း ဇိအုန်းမြို့ကိုပတ်ပတ်လည်၍ ပြအိုးတို့ကို ရေတွက်ကြလော့။

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹³ရင်တားတို့ကို မှတ်၍ဘုံဗိမာန်များကိုလည်း ဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide [even] unto death.

¹⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် ကာလ အစဉ်အမြဲ ငါတို့၏ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ သေသည် ကာလတိုင်အောင် ငါတို့ကို ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူလတံ့ သတည်း။
