¹For the Chief Musician; [set to] Shushan Eduth. Michtam of David, to teach; and when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the Valley of Salt twelve thousand. O God thou hast cast us off, thou hast broken us down; Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.

¹အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အမျက်ထွက်သဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်၍ အရပ်ရပ်သို့ ကွဲပြားစေတော်မူပြီ။ တဖန် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူပါ။

²Thou hast made the land to tremble; thou hast rent it: Heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

²မြေကြီးကို လှုပ်၍ ခွဲတော်မူပြီ။ ကွဲအက်ရာတို့ကို တဖန် စေ့စပ်စေတော်မူပါ။ တုန်လှုပ်လျက် ရှိပါသေး၏။

³Thou hast showed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.

³ကိုယ်တော်၏လူတို့ကို ခက်ထန်စွာ စီရင်၍၊ မှိုင်တွေခြင်း စပျစ်ရည်ကို တိုက်တော်မူပြီ။

⁴Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

⁴ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသူတို့သည် သစ္စာတရားကြောင့် ထူရသော အလံကို ပေးသနားတော် မူပြီ။

⁵That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.

⁵ချစ်တော်မူသော သူတို့သည် ချမ်းသာရမည်အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ လက်ျာလက်ရုံးတော်အားဖြင့် ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ။

⁶God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁶သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းပါရမီတော်ကို တိုင်တည်၍ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဗျာဒိတ်ထားတော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် ဝမ်းမြောက်မည်။ ရှေခင်မြို့ကို ပိုင်းခြားမည်။ သုကုတ်လယ်ပြင်ကို တိုင်းထွာမည်။

⁷Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.

⁷ဂိလဒ်ပြည်ကို ငါပိုင်ရ၏။ မနာရှေပြည်ကိုလည်း ငါပိုင်ရ၏။ ဧဖရိမ်ပြည်ကား၊ ငါ့ဦးခေါင်း၏အစွမ်း ဖြစ်ရ၏။ ယုဒပြည်ကား၊ ငါ၏ လွှတ်တော်ဖြစ်ရ၏။

⁸Moab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, shout thou because of me.

⁸မောဘပြည်ကား၊ ငါ့ရေချိုးအိုးဖြစ်ရ၏။ ဧဒုံပြည်ကား၊ ငါ့ခြေနင်းရာ ဖြစ်ရ၏။ ဖိလိတ္တိပြည်အပေါ်မှာ အောင်သံနှင့် ကြွေးကြော်မည်။

⁹Who will bring me into the strong city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

⁹အားကြီးသော မြို့ထဲသို့ ငါ့ကို အဘယ်သူသွင်းပေးမည်နည်း။ ဧဒုံပြည်သို့ ငါကို အဘယ်သူ လမ်းပြမည်နည်း။

¹⁰Hast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

¹⁰အို ဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်တော်မူသော ကိုယ်တော်သည် ပြုတော်မူမည်မဟုတ်လော။ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဗိုလ်ခြေနှင့်အတူ ကြွတော်မမူသော ကိုယ်တော်သည် ပြုတော်မူမည် မဟုတ်လော။

¹¹Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.

¹¹ဒုက္ခနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ မစတော်မူပါ။ လူတို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းငှါ မတတ်နိုင်ကြပါ။

¹²Through God we shall do valiantly; For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.

¹²ဘုရားသခင်အားဖြင့် ငါတို့သည် ရဲရင့်စွာ ပြုကြမည်။ ငါတို့၏ ရန်သူများကို ကိုယ်တော်တိုင် နင်းတော်မူမည်။ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် မေသောပေါတာမိရှုရိလူတို့နှင့် ဇေဘရှုရိရှင်လူတို့ကိုစစ်တိုက်ပြီးမှ၊ ယွာဘသည် ပြန်၍ဧဒုံလူတသောင်း နှစ်ထောင် တို့ကိုဆားချိုင့်၌လုပ်ကြံသောအခါ စပ်ဆိုသောဆာလံ။
