¹Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called [to be] an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

¹လူဇာတိအားဖြင်း ဒါဝိဒ်အမျိုးဖြစ်တော်မူ ထသော၊

²which he promised afore through his prophets in the holy scriptures,

²သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်တော်မူ၍၊

³concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,

³သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်အားဖြင့် ၊

⁴who was declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; [even] Jesus Christ our Lord,

⁴တန်ခိုးနှင့်တကွ ဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော် ထင်ရှားဖြစ်တော်မူသော ငါတို့သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်တည်း ဟူသော မိမိသားတော်ကို အကြောင်းပြု၍ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ရှေးကမိမိပရောဖက်များအားဖြင့်၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော ကျမ်းစာ၌ ဂတိထားတော်မူသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ရွေးချယ်ခွဲထား၍ တမန်တော်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထားသော ယေရှုခရစ်၏ ကျွန်ငါပေါလုသည်၊

⁵through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;

⁵ဘုရားသခင်ချစ်တော်မူ၍၊

⁶among whom are ye also called [to be] Jesus Christ's:

⁶သန့်ရှင်းသူအရာ၌ ခန့်ထားသော ရောမ မြို့သူမြို့သားအပေါင်းတို့ကို ကြားလိုက်ပါ၏။

⁷To all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called [to be] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁷သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်နှင့်ငါတို့အဘတည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင့် အထံတော်ကကျေးဇူးတော်နှင့် ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းသည် သင်တို့၌ ရှိပါစေသော။ သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်၏ နာမတော်ကို အမှီပြု၍ လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့သည် ယုံကြည် နားထောင်စေခြင်းငှါ။ ထိုသခင်ထံ၌ ကျေးဇူးတော်နှင့် တမန်တော်အရာကို ငါတို့သည် ခံရကြပြီ။ ထိုသခင်ခေါ် ထားတော် မူသောသင်တို့သည်လည်း ထိုလူမျိုးတို့၌ အပါ အဝင်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁸First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.

⁸သင်တို့၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအရာသည် မြေတပြင်လုံး၌ အနှံ့အပြား ကျော်စောသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်တို့ အကြောင်းကြောင့် ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့်၊ ငါ၏ဘုရား သခင်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ရှေးဦးစွာ ငါချီးမွမ်း၏။

⁹For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers

⁹ငါသည်သင်တို့ကို မခြားမလပ်အောက်မေ့၍ အစဉ်မပြတ်ဆုတောင်းပဌနာပြုသည်ဟု သားတော်၏ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောလျက်၊ အမှုတော်ကို စိတ် ဝိညာဉ်နှင့်တကွ ငါဆောင်ရွက်၍ ငါကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ၏အသက်သေခံဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁰making request, if by any means now at length I may be prospered by the will of God to come unto you.

¹⁰မကြာမမြင့်မှီဘုရားသခင်အလိုတော်အားဖြင့် အဆင်သင့်၍၊ သင်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ငါလာရသော အခွင့် တစုံတခုရှိပါမည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်းပဌာနပြု၏။

¹¹For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

¹¹သင်တို့သည် မြဲမြံခိုင်ခံ့မည့်အကြောင်း၊ ငါသည် သင်တို့၌ ဝိညာဉ်ဆုကျေးဇူးတစုံတခုကို အပ်ပေးခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်တို့ကိုအလွန်တွေ့မြင်ချင်ပါ၏။

¹²that is, that I with you may be comforted in you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.

¹²ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်၊ ငါနှင့်သင်တို့သည် ယုံကြည်သော အားဖြင့် အချင်းချင်း အားရသက်သာခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ မည်အကြောင်းကို ဆိုလိုသတည်း။

¹³And I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you (and was hindered hitherto), that I might have some fruit in you also, even as in the rest of the Gentiles.

¹³ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါသည်အခြားသော တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့တွင် အကျိုးကိုရသကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့တွင်လည်း အကျိုးတစုံတခုကိုရခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်တို့ရှိရာသို့သွားမည်ဟု အဖန်ဖန်အကြံရှိကြောင်းကို သင်တို့မသိဘဲနေစေခြင်းငှါ ငါအလိုမရှိ၊ ထိုသို့အကြံရှိသော်လည်း၊ ယခုတိုင်အောင် မြစ်တားသော အကြောင်းရှိ၏။

¹⁴I am debtor both to Greeks and to Barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

¹⁴ဟေလသလူဖြစ်စေ၊ လူရိုင်းဖြစ်စေ၊ ပညာရှိဖြစ်စေ၊ ပညာမဲ့ဖြစ်စေ၊ လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့၏ကြွေးသည် ငါ၌တင်လျက်ရှိ၏။

¹⁵So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that are in Rome.

¹⁵သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ငါတတ်နိုင်သမျှအတိုင်း ရောမမြို့သားဖြစ်သော သင်တို့အား ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောခြင်းငှါ စေတနာစိတ်ရှိ၏။

¹⁶For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹⁶ငါသည်ခရစ်တော်၏ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကြောင့်၊ ရှက်ကြောက်ခြင်းမရှိ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုတရားသည် ရှေ့ဦးစွာ၌ ယုဒလူ၊ နောက်၌ ဟေလသလူ၊ ယုံကြည်သမျှသောသူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ကယ်တင် စေသော ဘုရားသခင်၏တန်ခိုးတော်ဖြစ်၏။

¹⁷For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

¹⁷အဘယ်သို့ဖြစ်သနည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည် ဟု ကျမ်းစာလာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်း၌ တည်သောဘုရားသခင်၏ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရားသည်၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအဘို့အလိုငှါ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအားဖြင့် ထင်ရှားလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹⁸For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;

¹⁸သမ္မာတရားကိုအဓမ္မဖြင့် ဆီးတားနှိပ်စက်သော သူတို့ ပြုတတ်သော ဘုရားမဲ့နေခြင်းအမှု၊ တရားကို လွန်ကျူးခြင်း အမှုအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ တဘက်၌ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက်တော်သည်ကောင်းကင်မှ ထင်ရှားလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹⁹because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them.

¹⁹အဘယ်ကြောင့်နည်းဟူမူကား၊ သိအပ်သော ဘုရားသခင်၏ အကြောင်းအရာတို့သည် သူတို့တွင် ထင်ရှားလျက်ရှိ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူတို့အား ပြတော်မူပြီ။

²⁰For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, [even] his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:

²⁰အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော အရာများကို ထောက်ရှုသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရတန်ခိုးတော်နှင့် ထာဝရအဖြစ်တော်တည်းဟူသော မျက်မြင်မရသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ အရာတို့သည် ကမ္ဘာတည် သည်ကာလမှ စ၍ ထင်ရှားလျက်ရှိကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို မဖုံးနိုင်ရာ။

²¹because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.

²¹အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို သိလျက်ပင်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုချီးမွမ်းသင့်သည် အတိုင်း မချီးမွမ်းကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုလည်း မသိမမှတ်၊ အချည်းနှီး တွေးဆခြင်း၊ သတိမရှိသောစိတ်နှလုံးကို မိုက်မဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။

²²Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

²²ပညာရှိယောင်ဆောင်လျက်နှင့် လူမိုက်အရာ၌ တည်ကြသည် ဖြစ်၍၊

²³and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

²³မဖေါက်ပြန်မပျက်စီးနိုင်သော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုပယ်လျက်၊ ဖေါက်ပြန်ပျက်စီးတတ်သော လူ၏ ရုပ်တု၊ သားငှက်အစရှိသော တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်၏ရုပ်တုကို ဘုရားသခင်အရာ၌ ချီးမြှောက် ကြ၏။

²⁴Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves:

²⁴ထိုကြောင့်သူတို့သည် မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကာယ၏ အသရေကို အချင်းချင်းရှုတ်ချမည်အကြောင်း၊ ဘုရား သခင်သည် သူတို့ကိုသူတို့၏ ကိလေသာစိတ်ညစ်ညူးခြင်း လက်သို့ အပ်လိုက်တော်မူ၏။

²⁵for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

²⁵သူတို့သည် မှန်သောဘုရားသခင့်အရာ၌ အမှားကိုထားလျက်၊ ဖန်ဆင်းတတ်သော သခင်ကိုပယ်၍ ဖန်ဆင်းအပ်သောအရာကို ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်သောသူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ထိုသခင်သည် ထာဝရမင်္ဂလာ ရှိတော်မူ၏။ အာမင်။

²⁶For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature:

²⁶ထိုသို့ပြုကြသောကြောင့် ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူတို့ကို ရှက်ကြောက်ဘွယ်သော ကိလေသာလက်သို့ အပ်လိုက်တော်မူ၏။ အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ မိန်းမတို့သည် ပကတိထုံးစံကိုစွန့်၍၊ ပကတိနှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက် ထုံးစံကို လိုက်ကြ၏။

²⁷and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due.

²⁷ထိုအတူ၊ ယောက်ျားတို့သည်လည်း မိန်းမနှင့် ဆက်ဆံခြင်း ပကတိထုံးစံကိုစွန့်၍ အချင်းချင်းကိလေ သာစိတ်ပူလောင်သဖြင့်၊ ရှက်ကြောက်ဘွယ်သောအမှုကို ယောက်ျားချင်းပြုလျက်၊ မိမိတို့ မှားယွင်းခြင်းနှင့် အလျောက် မိမိတို့အပြစ်ဒဏ်ကို ခံရကြ၏။

²⁸And even as they refused to have God in [their] knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

²⁸ထိုသူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို မသိမမှတ်လိုသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ မလျောက်ပတ်သော အမှုကို ပြုစေမည် အကြောင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူတို့ကို မောဟလက်သို့ အပ်လိုက်တော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ၊

²⁹being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

²⁹သူတို့သည်အလုံးစုံသော အဓမ္မကျင့်ခြင်း၊ မတရားသော မေထုန်ကိုပြုခြင်း၊ ဆိုးညစ်ခြင်း၊ လောဘ လွန်ကျူးခြင်း၊ မနာလိုခြင်း၊ ငြူစူခြင်း၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်ခြင်း၊ ရန်တွေ့ခြင်း၊ လှည့်ဖြားခြင်း၊ သူတပါးကို မြင်ပျင်းခြင်းတို့နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသောသူ၊ ချောစားသောသူ၊

³⁰backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

³⁰ဆဲရေးသောသူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုမုန်းသောသူ၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းသောသူ၊ မာနထောင်လွှားသောသူ၊ ဝါကြွား သောသူ၊ မတတ်ကောင်းသော အတတ်ကိုစီရင်သောသူ၊ မိဘစကားကို နားမထောင်သောသူ၊ သတိမရှိသောသူ၊ သစ္စာပျက်သောသူ၊

³¹without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful:

³¹မိဘသားမယားစသည်တို့ကို မချစ်သောသူ၊ ရန်ငြိုးထားသောသူ၊ သနားခြင်း ကရုဏာစိတ်မရှိသော သူဖြစ်ကြ၏။

³²who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practise them.

³²ထိုသို့ ကျင့်သောသူတို့သည် သေပြစ်ကိုခံထိုက်သည်ဟု ဘုရားသခင်စီရင်တော်မူကြောင်းကို ထိုသူတို့ သည် သိလျက်ပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ကျင့်သည်သာမက၊ ထိုသို့ ကျင့်သောသူတို့၌ အားရဝမ်းမြောက်ကြ၏။
