1A Psalm of David. I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises.
1म प्रेम र निष्पक्ष न्यायको गीत गाउनेछु। परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको निम्ति गाउने छु।
2I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
2म सतर्कतासाथ शुद्ध जीवन जिउनेछु। म मेरो घरमा शुद्ध प्रकारले जिउनेछु। परमप्रभु तपाईं मकहाँ कहिले आउनुहुनेछ?
3I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.
3म आफू समक्ष कुनै मूर्तिहरू राख्ने छैन, म त्यस मानिसलाई घृणा गर्नेछु जो तपाईंको विरूद्ध जाँन्छ। म त्यस्तो गर्नेछैन!
4A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.
4म ईमान्दार हुनेछु। म दुष्टपूर्ण कामहरू गर्नेछैन।
5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.
5यदि कसैले उसको छिमेकिहरू बारे गुप्त भावमा नराम्रा कुराहरू गर्दछ भने, म त्यस मानिसलाई रोक्छु। आफूलाई घमण्ड गर्दै र अरू भन्दा म श्रेष्ठ छु भनेर सोच्नेहरूलाई म अनुमति दिनेछैन।
6Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.
6म मानिसहरूलाई संसारभरि नै हेर्नेछु जसमाथि भरोसा गर्न सकिन्छ अनि तिनीहरूलाई मात्र मेरो सेवा गर्न दिन लाउने छु। खाली त्यस्ता मानिसहरू मात्र मेरो दासहरू हुन सक्छन् जो शुद्ध जिउँदछ।
7He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.
7म मेरो घरमा झूटाहरू बस्न दिने छैन। म झूट बोल्नेहरूलाई आफू नजिक बस्न दिने छैन।
8Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.
8यस देशमा बसिरहेका दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई सँधै नाश गर्नेछु। परमेश्वरको शहर जानलाई म ती सब दुष्टहरूलाई वाध्य पार्नेछु।
