1Praise ye Jehovah. I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart, In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
1परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर! म परमप्रभुलाई सभामा (जहाँ असल मानिसहरू भेला हुँदछन्) आफ्ना सम्पूर्ण हृदयबाट धन्यवाद दिंदछु।
2The works of Jehovah are great, Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
2परमप्रभुले आश्चर्यकामहरू गर्नुहुन्छ। मानिसहरूले त्यस्तै असल कुराहरू चाहन्छन् जुन परमेश्वरबाट आउँदछ।
3His work is honor and majesty; And his righteousness endureth for ever.
3परमप्रभुले साँच्चि नै महिमापूर्ण र अचम्मका कामहरू गर्नुभयो। उहाँको धार्मिकता सदा-सर्वदा रहने छ।
4He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: Jehovah is gracious and merciful.
4परमेश्वरले आश्चर्यकामहरू गर्नु भएकोले उहाँलाई सम्झिइने कि परमप्रभु कृपालु र करूणामय हुनुहुन्छ।
5He hath given food unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant.
5परमेश्वरले आफ्ना अनुयायीहरूलाई भोजन दिनुहुन्छ, उहाँले आफ्नो करार सदा सर्वदा सम्झनु हुन्छ।
6He hath showed his people the power of his works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.
6उहाँको प्रभावशाली कर्महरूले प्रमाण दियो कि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अन्य जातिहरूको जमीन दिंदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो।
7The works of his hands are truth and justice; All his precepts are sure.
7प्रत्येक कुरा परमेश्वरले धर्मी रूपमा र निष्पक्ष रूपमा गर्नुहुन्छ। उहाँका सारा आज्ञाहरू सबै नै विश्वास योग्यका छन्।
8They are established for ever and ever; They are done in truth and uprightness.
8परमेश्वरका आज्ञाहरू अनन्तसम्म रहनेछन्। ती आज्ञाहरू तिनीहरूलाई दिनुको कारण परमेश्वर इमान्दार र शुद्ध हुनुहुन्छ।
9He hath sent redemption unto his people; He hath commanded his covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is his name.
9परमेश्वरले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई बचाउनु भनी कसैलाई पठाउनु भयो। परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूसँग एउटा करार गर्नुभयो जुन सर्वदा रहने छ। परमेश्वरको नाउँ पवित्र र भययोग्य छ।
10The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: His praise endureth for ever.
10ज्ञान परमेश्वरको भय र आदरबाट प्रारम्भ हुन्छ। मानिसहरू जसले परमेश्वरलाई मान्दछ उनीहरू ज्ञानी हुन्। स्तुति प्रशंसाहरू परमेश्वर प्रति सर्वदा गाइनेछ।
