1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: From whence shall my help come?
1सहायताको निम्ति म पहाडहरू तिर हेर्छु। तर मेरो सहायता कहाँबाट आउँछ?
2My help [cometh] from Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.
2मेरो सहायता स्वर्ग र पृथ्वी सृजना गर्नुहुने परमप्रभुबाट आउँछ।
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
3परमेश्वरले पतनहुन दिनु हुनेछैन, तिम्रो संरक्षक निदाई जाने होइन।
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
4इस्राएल को रक्षा गर्ने निन्द्रालु हुनुहुन्न। परमेश्वर कहिल्यै निदाउनु हुन्न।
5Jehovah is thy keeper: Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand.
5परमप्रभु तिम्रो रक्षक हुनुहुन्छ, उहाँले आफ्नो महान् शक्तिद्वारा तिम्रो रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ।
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.
6तिमीलाई दिउँसो घामले अनि राती जूनले हानि पुराउँदैन।
7Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; He will keep thy soul.
7परमप्रभुले प्रत्येक संकटबाट तिम्रो रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुले तिम्रो प्राणको रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ।
8Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth and for evermore.
8तिमी आउँदा र जाँदा परमप्रभुले रक्षा गर्नुहुनेछ। परमप्रभुले तिमीलाई अहिले र अनन्तसम्म सहयोग गर्नुहुनेछ!
