1Rejoice in Jehovah, O ye righteous: Praise is comely for the upright.
1हे असल धार्मिक मानिसहरू परमप्रभुमा आनन्दित होऊ! उहाँको गुण गाउनु मानिसहरूका लागि राम्रो हुन्छ।
2Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp: Sing praises unto him with the psaltery of ten strings.
2वीणा बजाएर परमप्रभुको स्तुति गर! दश तारे साराङ्गी बजाएर परमप्रभुको भजन गाओ।
3Sing unto him a new song; Play skilfully with a loud noise.
3उहाँको निम्ति एउटा नयाँ गीत गाऊ। सुखमय सुन्दर वाद्यहरू बजाऊ!
4For the word of Jehovah is right; And all his work is [done] in faithfulness.
4परमेश्वरको वचन सत्य छ। उहाँले गर्नुभएको प्रत्येक कुरामा तिमीहरू भर पर्न सक्छौ।
5He loveth righteousness and justice: The earth is full of the lovingkindness of Jehovah.
5परमेश्वर स्वच्छ हुनु मन पराउनु हुन्छ अनि राम्रो काम गर्नु हुन्छ। परमेश्वरको साँचो प्रेमले पृथ्वी भरिन्छ।
6By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
6परमप्रभुले आदेश गर्नुभयो र यो संसार बनियो। परमेश्वरको मुखबाट निस्केको सासबाट पृथ्वीमा प्रत्येक कुराको सृजना भयो।
7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: He layeth up the deeps in store-houses.
7परमप्रभुले समुद्रबाट पानी एक ठाउँमा थुपार्नु भयो। उहाँले सागरलाई आफ्नो ठाउँमा राख्नुभयो।
8Let all the earth fear Jehovah: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
8यस पृथ्वीमा प्रत्येक मानिसले डराउनु पर्छ र परमप्रभुको सम्मान गर्नु पर्छ। संसारमा भएका सबै मानिसहरू उहाँदेखि डराउनु पर्नेछ।
9For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
9किन? किनभने परमेश्वरले आदेश गर्दा मात्र ती कुराहरू प्रकट हुन्छन। अनि यदि उहँले भन्नुहुन्छ, “रोक!” तब ती सबै रोकिने छन्।
10Jehovah bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
10यदि परमप्रभुले चाहनु भयो भने, प्रत्येकका योजनाहरू व्यार्थ पार्न सक्नुहुन्छ। उहाँले तिनीहरूका योजनाहरू ध्वंश पार्न सक्नु हुन्छ।
11The counsel of Jehovah standeth fast for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.
11तर परमप्रभुको सल्लाह सदा-सर्वदा असल हुन्छ। उहाँका योजनाहरू पुस्तौं-पुस्तासम्म असल हुन्छन्।
12Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, The people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
12परमप्रभु जुन मानिसहरूको परमेश्वर स्वरूप हुनुहुन्छ, तिनीहरू सौभाग्यशाली हुन्छन्। किन? किनभने परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई उहाँको आफ्नै खास मानिसहरू सरह रोज्नु भएकोछ।
13Jehovah looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;
13परमप्रभुले स्वर्गबाट तल हेर्नु भयो अनि उहाँले सारा मानिसहरूलाई देख्नु भयो।
14From the place of his habitation he looketh forth Upon all the inhabitants of the earth,
14उहाँले उच्च-आसनबाट तल पृथ्वीमा बाँचिरहेका सारा मानिसहरूलाई हेर्नु भयो।
15He that fashioneth the hearts of them all, That considereth all their works.
15परमेश्वरले प्रत्येक मानिसको रचना गर्नुभयो। परमेश्वर तिनीहरूले के सोच्दछन् जान्नुहुन्छ।
16There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
16कुनै पनि राजा आफ्नो महान् शक्तिद्वारा बाँच्दैन। कुनै पनि बलियो सिपाही उसको महान् बलबाट बाँच्दैन।
17A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither doth he deliver any by his great power.
17घोडाहरूले साँच्चै लडाइँमा विजय ल्याउँदैनन्। तिनीहरूका बलले तिनीहरूलाई वास्तवमा भाग्न सहायता गर्न सक्दैन।
18Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;
18परमप्रभुले हेर्नुहुन्छ साथै हेरचाह गर्नुहुन्छ तिमीहरूमध्ये जसले उहाँलाई मान्दछन्। जसले उहाँलाई सम्मान् गर्छ उहाँ महान् प्रेमले, मानिसहरूको रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ।
19To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
19परमेश्वरले ती मानिसहरूलाई मृत्युबाट बचाउनु हुन्छ। जब तिनीहरू भोका हुन्छन् उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई बल दिनुहुन्छ।
20Our soul hath waited for Jehovah: He is our help and our shield.
20यसैले हामी आशा लिएर परमप्रभुलाई पर्खनेछौं। उहाँले हामीलाई साथ दिनुहुन्छ र रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ।
21For our heart shall rejoice in him, Because we have trusted in his holy name.
21परमेश्वरले हामीलाई खुशी पार्नु हुन्छ, हामी साँच्चै उहाँको पवित्र नाउँमा भरोसा गर्छौं।
22Let thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, According as we have hoped in thee.
