1A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
1परमप्रभु महान् हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको पवित्र पर्वतमा, मानिसहरूले हाम्रो परमेश्वरको शहरमा अधिक प्रशंसा गर्दछन्।
2Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, The city of the great King.
2परमेश्वरको पवित्र शहर यस्तो आनन्दमय उचाइमा छ! यसले पृथ्वीभरिका मानिसहरूलाई आनन्द दिन्छ! सियोन पर्वत परमेश्वरको साँचो पर्वत हो, यो महान् राजाको शहर हो।
3God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.
3त्यस शहरको राजमहलमा, परमेश्वरलाई किल्ला भनिन्छ।
4For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together.
4एक समय, केही राजाहरू आपस्तमा भेट गरे। तिनीहरूले यस शहरमाथि आक्रमण गर्ने योजना गरे। तिनीहरू सबैले यस शहरतर्फ कदम बढाए।
5They saw it, then were they amazed; They were dismayed, they hasted away.
5तर त्यसपछि ती राजाहरू यो शहर देखेर छक्क परे। तिनीहरू सबै भयग्रस्त भए अनि लम्पट परे!
6Trembling took hold of them there, Pain, as of a woman in travail.
6डरले ती राजाहरूलाई कस्सेर समात्यो। ती राजाहरू डरले कामे।
7With the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.
7हे परमेश्वर तपाईंले शक्तिशाली पूर्वेली बतास चलाउनु भयो अनि तिनीहरूका ठूल-ठूला जहाजहरू सबै भताभुङ्ग पारिदिनु भयो।
8As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah
8हो, हामीले तपाईंको महान् शक्तिका कथाहरू सुनेका छौं। तर यसलाई हामीले हाम्रो परमेश्वरको शहरमा पनि देख्यौं, सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वरको शहरलाई उहाँले अनन्त सम्मको लागि बलियो बनाउनु भयो!
9We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.
9हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंको मन्दिरमा तपाईंको प्रेमपूर्ण अनुग्रहलाई हामी सतर्क भएर सोच्दछौं।
10As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.
10हे परमेश्वर, तपाईं प्रख्यात हुनुहुन्छ, मानिसहरूले तपाईंलाई पृथ्वीभरि प्रशंसा गर्दछन्। तपाईं कति धार्मिक हुनुहुन्छ भनेर सबैलाई थाहा छ।
11Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.
11हे परमेश्वर! सियोन पर्वत खुशी हुन्छ। यहूदाका शहरहरू तपाईंको सही निर्णयले गर्दा रमाउँदछन्।
12Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;
12सियोनको चारैतर्फ हिंड्। शहरमा हेर। त्यहाँका अग्ला महलहरू गन।
13Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.
13अग्ला पर्खालहरू हेर, सियोनका राजमलहरूको प्रशंसा गर। तब तिमीले आफ्ना भावी सन्तानहरूलाई यसको विषयमा भन्न सक्नेछौ।
14For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide [even] unto death.
14यी परमेश्वर सदा-सर्वदाका लागि हाम्रा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँले हामीलाई सघैं पथ-प्रर्दशन गर्नु हुनेछ।
