¹For the Chief Musician. A song, a Psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth:

¹हे पृथ्वीमा भएका प्रत्येकले, परमेश्वर प्रति आनन्द सहित चिच्याउँछ!

²Sing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious.

²उहाँको नाउँको महिमाको प्रशंसा गर! स्तुति-गानहरूले उहाँको सम्मान गर!

³Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

³उहाँको कार्यहरू कति अदूभूतपूर्ण छन् भन! परमेश्वर, तपाईंको शक्ति महान् छ। तपाईंका शत्रुहरू झुक्दछन्। तिनीहरू तपाईंसँग डराउँदछू!

⁴All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah

⁴सारा पृथ्वीले तपाईंको उपासना गरून, प्रत्येकले तपाईंको नाउँको स्तुति-गान गरून्।

⁵Come, and see the works of God; [He is] terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

⁵परमेश्वरले गर्नु भएको कामहरू हेर! ती कुराहरूले हामीलाई छक्क पार्छ।

⁶He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him.

⁶परमेश्वरले सुक्खा धर्तीमा समुद्र बनाउनु भयो। उहाँका सुखी भक्तजनहरूले हिंडेर नदी पार गरे।

⁷He ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

⁷परमेश्वरले आफ्ना महान् शक्तिद्वारा संसार चलाउनु हुन्छ, उहाँले मानिसहरूलाई चारैतिर विचार्नु हुन्छ। कोही पनि उहाँको विरूद्धमा जान सक्तैनन्।

⁸Oh bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

⁸हे जातिहरू हो! हाम्रा परमेश्वरको गुण-गान गर। ठूलो स्वरले उहाँको गुण-गान गर।

⁹Who holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved.

⁹मानिसहरूलाई जीवन दिनु भयो। अनि हाम्रो रक्षा उहाले गर्नुभयो।

¹⁰For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

¹⁰मानिसहरूले चाँदीलाई आगोले खारे जस्तै, परमेश्वरले हाम्रो मन जाँन्नुभयो।

¹¹Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

¹¹हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले हामीलाई पासोमा पार्नु भयो। तपाईंले हामीलाई गह्रौं भारी बोकाउनु भयो।

¹²Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

¹²तपाईंले आगो र पानी माथिबाट टाउको समातेर हामीलाई तान्नु भयो, तैपनि तपाईंले हामीहरूलाई आश्चर्यचकित पार्नु भएकोछ।

¹³I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

¹⁴Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

¹⁵I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

¹⁵म तपाईंलाई पापमय बलिहरू अर्पण गर्नेछु, म तपाईंलाई भेंडाहरू सहित धूपहरू चढाउँने छु, म साँढेहरू र बाख्राहरू चढाउने छु।

¹⁶Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

¹⁶तिमीहरू सबैले परमेश्वरको उपासना गरिरहने छौ। आऊ, अनि म तिमीहरूलाई भन्ने छु परमेश्वरले मेरो निम्ति के गर्नुभयो।

¹⁷I cried unto him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.

¹⁷मैले उहाँलाई प्रार्थना गरें, र मेरो जिब्रोबाट उहाँको गुणगान गरें।

¹⁸If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

¹⁸मेरो हृदय शुद्ध थियो, यसैले मेरो स्वामीले मलाई सुन्नुभयो।

¹⁹But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

¹⁹परमेश्वरले मलाई सुन्नुभयो। परमेश्वरले मेरो प्रार्थना सुन्नुभयो।

²⁰Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his lovingkindness from me.

²⁰परमेश्वरको प्रशंसा गर! परमेश्वर मबाट विमुख हुनु भएन, उहाँले मेरो प्रर्थाना सुन्नुभयो। उहाँले आफ्नो प्रेम मलाई दर्शाउनु भयो।
