1For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthan. A Psalm of Asaph. I will cry unto God with my voice, Even unto God with my voice; and he will give ear unto me.
1मैले ठूलो-ठूलो आवाजले कराएर परमेश्वरलाई गुहार मागें। हे परमेश्वर, मेरो रोदन सुनिदिनु होस्!
2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; My soul refused to be comforted.
2मेरो स्वामी, जब म संकटमा परें म तपाईं कहाँ आएँ तपाईंलाई पाउने प्रयासमा म रातभरी जागें र पनि आत्मामा शान्ति भएन।
3I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah
3मैले परमेश्वरको बारेमा सोचें, अनि आफ्नो हालत बताउने प्रयास गरें, तर मैले सकिनँ।
4Thou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
4तपाईंले मलाई सुत्न दिनु भएन म केही भन्न चाहन्थे तर म एकदम हताश थिएँ।
5I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.
5मैले बितेका कुराहरू सम्झिरहेको थिएँ। धेरै अगाडि हुन गएको घटनाहरू सम्झिरहेको थिएँ।
6I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search.
6रातमा, मैले आफ्ना गीतहरूको बारेमा सोच्ने प्रयास गरें। मैले आफैंलाई बुझ्ने कोशिश गरें।
7Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?
7म छक्क पर्छु, “के हाम्रो स्वामीले हामीलाई सदाको लागि त्याग्नु भयो? के फेरि उहाँ हामीसित खुशी हुनु हुन्न?
8Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?
8के फेरि हामीसँग उहाँ बात मार्न सक्नु हुनेछ? के परमेश्वरको प्रेम सदाको निम्ति बिलायो छ?”
9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah
9करूणा के हो भन्ने कुरा उहाँले भुल्नु भयो? उहाँको समवेदना जति क्रोधमा परिवर्तन भयो?”
10And I said, This is my infirmity; [But I will remember] the years of the right hand of the Most High.
10तब मैले सोचें, “जुन कुराले मलाई सधैं सताई रहन्छ त्यो होः ‘के सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वरले आफ्नो शक्ति गुमाउनु भयो?”‘
11I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old.
11म सम्झना गर्छु उहाँले कस्तो-कस्तो कार्य गर्नुभयो भनेर। परमेश्वर, म ती आश्चर्यपूर्वक कुराहरू सम्झना गर्छु जुन तपाईंले धेरै-धेरै अगाडि गर्नु भएको थियो।
12I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.
12तपाईंले के गर्नु भएको थियो त्यो मैले सोचें। म तपाईंका सबै शक्तिशाली कार्यहरू सोच्दछु।
13Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great god like unto God?
13परमेश्वर, तपाईंका बाटोहरू पवित्र छन्, तपाईं बाहेक कोही पनि महान् छैन।
14Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples.
14तपाईं परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ जसले अचम्मका कामहरू गर्नु हुन्छ। तपाईंले मानिसहरूलाई आफ्नो महान् शक्तिहरू देखाउनु भयो।
15Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah
15तपाईंको शक्तिले मानिसहरूलाई बचाउनु भयो तपाईंले याकूब र यूसफका सन्तानहरूलाई बचाउनु भयो।
16The waters saw thee, O God; The waters saw thee, they were afraid: The depths also trembled.
16परमेश्वर, पानीले तपाईंलाई देख्यो र भयभित भयो। गहिरो पानी भएका ठाउँहरू पनि डरले कामे।
17The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad.
17बाक्लो बादलहरूले पानी बर्षाए। मानिसहरूले डरलाग्दो उच्चबादलहरूमा बिजुली चम्केको देखें।
18The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: The earth trembled and shook.
18त्यहाँ बिजुलीको गडगडाहट थियो, तब बिजुलीको चमक्ले संसार नै उज्यालो पार्यो अनि पृथ्वी काम्न थाल्यो र थर्थर भयो।
19Thy way was in the sea, And thy paths in the great waters, And thy footsteps were not known.
19परमेश्वर, तपाईं गहिरो पानी भएर हिंड्नु भयो तपाईंले गहन समुद्र पार गर्नुभयो, तर तपाईंले कुनै छाप छोड्नु भएन।
20Thou leddest thy people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
20तपाईंले आफ्ना भक्तजनहरूलाई भेडा सहर डोर्याउन मोशा र हारूनलाई खटाउनु भयो।
