1For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. [A Psalm] of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
1खुशी हौ र परमेश्वर हाम्रो शक्ति हुनुहुन्छ भनी गीत गाऊ। इस्राएल का परमेश्वर तर्फ कराउँदै खुशी मनाऊ।
2Raise a song, and bring hither the timbrel, The pleasant harp with the psaltery.
2संगीत प्रारम्भ गर। खैंजडीहरू बजाऊ। सुरमय वीणा बजाऊ।
3Blow the trumpet at the new moon, At the full moon, on our feast-day.
3जब हाम्रो विश्राम शुरू हुन्छ। पूर्णिमा लागेको बेला तुरही फुक, औंसी परेको बेला नरसिङ्ग फुक।
4For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.
4त्यो इस्राएल का मानिसहरूको निम्ति नियम हो। परमेश्वरले याकूबलाई आज्ञा दिनुभयो।
5He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, When he went out over the land of Egypt, [Where] I heard a language that I knew not.
5जब परमेश्वरले यूसूफलाई मिश्रबाट निकाली ल्याउनु भयो परमेश्वरले उनीसित यो करार गर्नुभयो। मिश्रमा हामीले नजानेको भाषा सुन्यौ।
6I removed his shoulder from the burden: His hands were freed from the basket.
6परमेश्वर भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूको काँधको भारी मैले लिएँ। मैले तिमीहरूको कर्मीको डोको तिमीहरूको हातबाट लिए।
7Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah
7तिम्रा मानिसहरू संकटमा थिए। तिनीहरूले गुहार माँगे र मैले मुक्त पारें। तुफान बोकेको बादलहरूमा म लुकिरहेको थिएँ। त्यहीबाट मैले जवाफ दिएँ, मैले तिनीहरूलाई मरीबाको पानीद्वारा जाँच गरे।”
8Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
8“मेरो मानिसहरू ध्यान देऊ, अनि मेरो कुरा सुन। म तिमीहरूलाई मेरो करार-वचन दिनेछु। इस्राएल , कृपया मेरो कुरा ध्यानले सुन।
9There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any foreign god.
9कुनै पनि कृत्रिम देवताहरू नमान जुन विदेशीहरूले मान्दछन्।
10I am Jehovah thy God, Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
10म, परमप्रभु, तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ, मैले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्रबाट निकालेर ल्याएँ। इस्राएल , तिमीहरू मुख खोल अनि म खुवाउने छु।
11But my people hearkened not to my voice; And Israel would none of me.
11“तर मेरो मानिसहरू, तिमीहरूले मेरो कुरा सुनेनौ। इस्राएल ले मेरो आज्ञा पालन गरेन।
12So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels.
12यसैले तिनीहरू जे-जे चाहन्छन् त्यही गर भनेर छाडी दिएँ, इस्राएल ले आफ्नो मनले चाहेको गर्यो।
13Oh that my people would hearken unto me, That Israel would walk in my ways!
13यदि मेरो मानिसहरूले मेरो कुरा मानेको भए अनि मेरो तरिका अनुसार बसेको भए।
14I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.
14तब म तिनीहरूको शत्रुहरूलाई हराउने थिएँ। म त्यस्ता मानिसहरूलाई दण्ड दिने थिएँ जसले इस्राएल मा संकटहरू ल्याउँदछ।
15The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves unto him: But their time should endure for ever.
15परमप्रभुका शत्रुहरू डरले काम्नेछन्। तिनीहरूलाई सदा दण्ड दिइनेछ।
16He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.
16परमेश्वरले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई उत्तम गहुँ दिनुभयो। चट्टानले तृप्त नहुञ्जेल सम्म तिनीहरूलाई मह दिए।”
