Acts

20

1And after the uproar ceased, Paul having sent for the disciples and exhorted them, took leave of them, and departed to go into Macedonia.
1Huan, buaina daih khit nungin, Paulain nungjuite a samsaka, a hasuana, kamphain a khaha, Masidonia gama hoh dingin a pawtta a.
2And when he had gone through those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece.
2Huan, thu tampia nungjuite hasuan jelin huai gam tuh a tawn suaka, Grik gam a tungta hi.
3And when he had spent three months [there,] and a plot was laid against him by Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he determined to return through Macedonia.
3Huan, huaiah kha thum a tam nungin Siria gamlam ah longin a hoh deka, Judaten amah a sawm jiak un Masidonia gamah paisuak a tum nawn zota hi.
4And there accompanied him as far as Asia, Sopater of Beroea, [the son] of Pyrrhus; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
4Huan, Pirha tapa Sopater Beria khuate, Thessalonia khuate Aristarkha leh Sekunda te, Darba khua te Gaia, Timothi te, Asia gama Tikika leh Trophima te a kiangah Asia gam phain a hoh uhi.
5But these had gone before, and were waiting for us at Troas.
5Huaiten ka ma uh a kai ua, Troasi khua ah a honna ngak uh.
6And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days, where we tarried seven days.
6Kou bel tanghou silngou sohlouh ni tengteng khitin Philippi khua akipan longin ka pawt ua, ni nga nungin Troasi khua ah a kiang uah ka tung ua; huaiah ni sagih ka tam uhi.
7And upon the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and prolonged his speech until midnight.
7Huan, ni sagih ni masa penin, tanghou balkham dinga ka kikhop lai un, Paulain ajinga pai a tup jiakin a kiang uah chihtaktakin thu a gen a; jan lai tanin thu a gen jel uhi.
8And there were many lights in the upper chamber where we were gathered together.
8Huan, indan tungnung ka omkhawmna uah khawnvak tampi a om a.
9And there sat in the window a certain young man named Eutychus, borne down with deep sleep; and as Paul discoursed yet longer, being borne down by his sleep he fell down from the third story, and was taken up dead.
9Huan, a min Iutika tangval khat tohlet ah a tu a, a na lusu, a na lusa a. Huan, Paulain thu a gen sawttak jiakin aman a ihmut suak a thuakzouta keia, inchial thumna akipanin a keta a, a sisain a tawm uhi.
10And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Make ye no ado; for his life is in him.
10Himahleh, Paula a kumsuka, a tungah a bohkhuma, a poma, lunglau kei un, a laitat kei lai hi, a chi a.
11And when he was gone up, and had broken the bread, and eaten, and had talked with them a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
11Huan, Paula a kahtou nawna, tanghou a balkhama, an a ne a, sawtpi, khovak pha hialin, a kiang uah thukhotang a gena, huai nungin a paita hi.
12And they brought the lad alive, and were not a little comforted.
12Huan, valnoupa tuh damin a pi ua, khamuan petmahin a khamuangta uhi.
13But we going before to the ship set sail for Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, intending himself to go by land.
13Huan, kou bel, long ah ka napaita ua, Asso khua juan dingin longin ka napawt masa ua, huaiah Paula tuansak ding ka tum ua; aman khea hong a tup jiakin huchi bangin aman a chi him ahia.
14And when he met us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.
14Huan, Asso khua a a hontuah chiangin, ka tuangsakta ua, Mitilini khua ka tung ua.
15And sailing from thence, we came the following day over against Chios; and the next day we touched at Samos; and the day after we came to Miletus.
15Huan, huai akipanin longin ka pain awn ua, a jingin Kio tuikulh jawn ka tung ua; huan, a jing nawnin Samo tuikulh ka tawn ua, huan, a jing nawn in Milita khua ka tung nawn uh.
16For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hastening, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
16Huan, Paulain Asia gam a om sawt a ut louh jiakin, Ephesa khua longin khen a tupsa him ahia, a theih leh Jerusalem khua ah Pentikost ni huam a tuma, a kin pai ahi.
17And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called to him the elders of the church.
17Huan, Milita khua akipanin Ephesa khua ah mi a sawla, saptuam upate a kiangah a samsaka.
18And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, after what manner I was with you all the time,
18Huan, a kiang a hongtun un, aman, a kiang uah, Asia gam ka tot chil ni akipan na kiang ua ka om sung tengin ka omdan na thei ua;
19serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with trials which befell me by the plots of the Jews;
19thunuailut pen kawm leh, Judaten hon sawm jiak ua khitui kai leh, thil haksa ka tunga tungte thuak kawmin,
20how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,

21testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
21Judate leh Grikte kiangah leng Pathian lama lungsim ngat thu leh, i Toupa Jesu Kris lama ginna thu ka theisak jel ahi.
22And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
22Huan, thei un, tuin, lungsima hoh lou theiloua ka kitheih jiakin, Jerusalem khua a hoh dia kisa ka hi, huaiah ka tunga thil hongtung ding khawng ka theikei;
23save that the Holy Spirit testifieth unto me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
23Kha Siangthouin, Henna leh haksatnain nang hondawn hi, chiin, kho tengah a honhilh jel hi, tuate kia ka theih ahi.
24But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
24Himahleh, ka kitaitehna lam ka maban tun ding leh, Toupa Jesu kianga huai nasepna ka muh, sem khin phot leng, ka hinna leng khiaklah tuakin ka sep kei hi.
25And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, shall see my face no more.
25Huan, thei un, nou tengteng, Pathian gam thu tangkoupih jela ka vakvaknaten ka mel na mu nawnta kei ding uh chih ka thei hi.
26Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
26Huaijiakin, mi tengteng sisan ah ka hula hi chih tuniin ka hontheisak hi.
27For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.
27Pathian vaihawm tengteng avekin na kiang uah im ka nei hi.
28Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood.
28Pathian saptuamte, amah sisana a leite, vak dingin, noumau leh na heute uh tengteng tungah pilvang un, Kha Siangthouin a tunguah nou heutuin a honbawl hi.
29I know that after my departing grievous wolves shall enter in among you, not sparing the flock;
29Ka pai nungin nge hangte na lak uah a honglut ding ua, pawlte a hawi kei ding uh chih ka thei hi.
30and from among your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.
30Noumau laka mi nangawn, nungjui pawlte amau lama kai mang dingin thu tuam gen na hongom ding uhi.
31Wherefore watch ye, remembering that by the space of three years I ceased not to admonish every one night and day with tears.
31Huaijiakin limsak unla; kum thum hilhial, khitui ke kawma, sun leh jana mi chih taihilh ka tawp louhdan, thei gige un.
32And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build [you] up, and to give [you] the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.
32Tunah Pathian leh a hehpihna thu kiangah nou ka honkemsak hi, huaiin nou a honbawllian theia, mi lungsim siangthoute lakah goutan a honneisak thei lai hi.
33I coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
33Kuamah dangkate, dangkaengte, puansilhte ka eng ngeikei hi.
34Ye yourselves know that these hands ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
34Hiai khutten keimah leh ka lawmte taksap a khoihkhiak jel dan, noumau ngeiin na thei uhi.
35In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring ye ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
35Bangkim ka hih peuhmah na chinding ua ka hih ahi, huchibanga sem gim leh, Toupa Jesu thu theigige kawmin mi hatloute na panpih ding uh ahi; amah mahin, Bangkhat lak sangin, piakin lukhawng a nei jaw, a chih, a chi a.
36And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down and prayed with them all.
36Huan, huchibang thu a gen khitin, a khukdina, a vek un a thumpih ua.
37And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck and kissed him,

38sorrowing most of all for the word which he had spoken, that they should behold his face no more. And they brought him on his way unto the ship.
38a mel a muh nawn tak louh ding uh, thu a gen tuh a lungkhamna pen uh ahi. Huan, long phain amah a vakhata uhi.
