Colossians

3

1If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
1Huchiin, Kris toh kaihthoh khawma na omtak ngal uleh, tunglama Pathian taklama tu Kris omnaa thil omte tuh zong un,
2Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
2Tung lama thil omte ah na lungsim uh nga un, leia thil omtea nga louin.
3For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
3Na sita ua, tuin na hinna uh Pathian ah Kris toh selin a om hi.
4When Christ, [who is] our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.
4Kris i hinna uh a hongkilak chiangin nou leng amah kiangah thupiin na kilak sam ding uhi.
5Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
5Huchiin, noumaua leilam thil deihna omte hihlum un, kingaihnate, nitnate, huknate, utna giloute, huaihamnate; huaihamna tuh milimbiakna ahi ngala.
6for which things' sake cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience:
6Huai thilte jiakin ahi, Pathian thangpaihna tuh thumanglou tate tunga a tun nak;
7wherein ye also once walked, when ye lived in these things;
7Nou leng tumalama huai thiltea na nuntak lai un, huaite ah na om jel uhi.
8but now do ye also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth:
8Tun jaw, nou leng hiai tengteng, hehnate, thangpainate, huatnate, gensiatnate, na kam ua pau zahmohte koih mang un.
9lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings,
9Juau kihilh tuah kei un, mihing lui tuh a thilhih toh na suahkheta ua.
10and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:
10Mihing thakin na kivanta ngal ua; huai mihing thak tuh a siampa batpih banga theihnaa siamthakin a om lellel hi.
11where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.
11Huai ah tuh Grik mi leh Juda mi leh Juda mi, zeksum leh sumlouh, melmak mite, Skithia mite, bawite, bawiloute leng a om theih kei; Kris tuh bangkim hijawin, bangkim ah a om behlap lai hi.
12Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;
12Huchiin, Pathian mi tel, misiangthou leh deih takte bang in lainatna lungtang te, migitnate, kingaihniamna te, thunuailutnate, thuakzohnatein kivan un.
13forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:
13Kua peuhin kua tungah leng thubuai nei bang hile uchin, kithuakzou chiat in, kingaidam tuah unla, Toupan a honngaihdamtak bangin, kingaidam sam un.
14and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness.
14Huan, huai tengteng tungah leng itna kisilhthuah un; huaiin thil bangkim kituak takin a gakkhawm hi.
15And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.
15Huan, Kris khamuannain na lungtang uah vaihawm hen, huchibang hi dingin pumpi khata sap na hi him uhi; kipahna dan leng thei un.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
16Kris thu tuh a hauhna tengtoh noumau ah omsak kiihkeih un, pilna chitenga kisinsak leh kihilh tuaha oma kipahna lungtang toh pathian kianga phatna la bang, Pathian la bang, khalam la bang saa omin.
17And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
17Huan, na hih peuhmah uh, thugen ah hiam, thilhih ah hiam amah jiaka Pa Pathian kianga kipahthugen kawmin Toupa Jesu minin hih vek un.
18Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
19Pasalte aw, na jite uh it unla, a lak uah hanhat kei un.
20Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
20Naupangte aw, bangkim ah na nu u leh na pate uh thumang un, huai tuh Toupa pahtak lam ahi.
21Fathers, provoke not your children, that they be not discouraged.
21Pate aw, na tate uh hihnuak kei un, huchilou injaw a lunglel kha ding uh.
22Servants, obey in all things them that are your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord:
22Sikhate aw, saa na heutute uh thu bangkim ah mang un, mihing hihkipakte lel banga mit nasem hi louin, lungtang sakhata Toupa kihta kawmin.
23whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men;
23Na hih peuhmah uh, mihing ading banga hih louin, Toupa ading banga hihin, kilawp takin hih un;
24knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye serve the Lord Christ.

25For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
25Thil dik lou hihpan a thil diklou hih man a mu nawn ding hi; mi khentuamna himhim a om ngal keia.
