2

1And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
1Huan, ni thum niin, Galili gama Kana khua ah kitenna a om a, huai ah Jesu nu a om hi.
2and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.
2Jesu leh a nungjuite leng kitenna ah achial ua.
3And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
3Huan, uain a beita a, Jesu nun a kiangah, Uain a tasamta u e, a chi a.
4And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
4Huan, Jesuin a kiangah, Numei, nang non na theisak ding bang ahia om! ka hun a tungnai kei hi, a chi a.
5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
5Huan, a nun sikhate kiangah, Na kiang ua a gen peuhmah hih jel un, a chi a.
6Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
6Huan, Jadate silsiang dan bangin suang tuibel guk, buk sawmli mun nih hiam, mun thum hiam ta chiat, huaiah a tung uhi.
7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
7Huan, Jesun a kiang uah, Tuibelte tuiin dimsak un, a chi a. Huan, a gong toh kikimin a dimsak chiat ua.
8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.
8Huan, a kiang uah, Tuiin dim unla, nekbawl thusa kiangah paipih un, achia. Huan, a paipih ta uhi.
9And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,
9Huan, nekbawl thusain, tui uain a hong suakta tuh achiama, a hongkipatna lam a theikei a, (tui dim sikhaten lah a thei ua), zi nei dingpa a samta a, a kiangah,
10and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.
10Mi chihin a tungin uain hoih deuh a hawm jel ua, a tamdeuh a dawn nungun, a hoihlou deuh a hawm uh; nang bel tutanin uain hoih na nakem lailaia, a chi a.
11This beginning of his signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
11Jesun hiai a thillamdang hihpatna tuh Galili gam Kana khuaa a hih ahi; a thupidan a langsakta a; huan, a nungjuiten amah tuh a gingta uhi.
12After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and [his] brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.
12Huan, huai khitin Kapernaum khua ah a hoh suka, amah leh a nu toh, a unaute toh, a nungjuite toh; huaiah ni tam lou chik a om uhi.
13And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
13Huan, Jadate paikan Ankuangluina a naita a, Jesu Jerusalem khua ah a hohtou ta a.
14And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
14Huan, Pathian biakina bawng khawng, belam khawng, vakhu khawng juak leh, dangka khengte tu a mu a.
15and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
15Huan, khauhualin jepna ding a bawla, belam leh bawngte a vek un Pathian biakina kipanin a delh khia a, dangka khengte dangka a sungbua a, a dohkante uh leng a sawnpuk saka;
16and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
16huan, vakhu juakte kiangah, Hiai thilte hiai lai akipanin pai pih un, ka Pa in sumsinna in dingin bawl kei un, a chi a.
17His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.
17Huan, Na ina ka phatuamngaihnain a hon gai ding, chih gelh ahi chih, a nungjuiten a thei nawnta uhi.
18The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
18Huchiin, Judaten a kiangah, Hiai thil na hih, chiamtehna bang ahia non lak theih? a chi ua, a dong ua.
19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
19Jesun a kiang uah, Hiai in hihse le uchin, ni thum sungin ka tung ding nawn ding, a chi a, a dawng a.
20The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
20Huan, Judaten, Hiai in kum sawmli leh guk lam ahi, nang ni thum sungin na tung ding ding maw? a chi ua.
21But he spake of the temple of his body.
21Himahleh a sapum in thu gen ahi zo ngala.
22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
22Huai jiakin, misi laka kipana a thoh nawnin, huai thu tuh a genta chih a nungjuiten a thei nawnta ua; huan, laisiangthou thu Jesu thugen tuh a gingta uhi.
23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.
23Huan, Paikan Ankuangluinaa, Jerusalem khuaa a om laiin, a thillam dang hihte a mu ua, mi tampiin a min a gingta ta uhi.
24But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
24Himahleh, Jesu tuh a lak uah a kikangkoiha, mi tengteng a theia, mihing thu kuamah hilh chet a kiphamoh louh jiakin; Amah mahin mihing sunga om peuhmah tuh a thei ngala.
25and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
25mihing thu kuamah hilh chet a kiphamoh louh jiakin; Amah mahin mihing sunga om peuhmah tuh a thei ngala.
