²And he saw a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

²Huan, meithai tagah tak kuahiamin dal dangka muja nih hongkhia leng a mu a.

³And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, This poor widow cast in more than they all:

³Huchiin, Chih taktakin ka honhilh ahi, Hiai tengteng sangin tua meithai tagah takin a khe tam jaw;

⁴for all these did of their superfluity cast in unto the gifts; but she of her want did cast in all the living that she had.

⁴hiai tengtengin a neih let uh a khia uh; aman bel a kitunhingna dinga a neih sunsun a khe vek ahi, achia.

⁵And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and offerings, he said,

⁵Huan, kuate hiamin Pathian biakin thu, suang hoihtak leh thil piak khawma a zep kilawm dan uh, a gen lai un, aman,

⁶As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

⁶Hiai na thil muh uh, hihchip louha suang kichiang himhim hiaiah a om kei ding; tuabangni a hongtung ding, achia.

⁷And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when therefore shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign when these things are about to come to pass?

⁷Huan, amau, a kiang ah, Sinsakpa, huaite chik chiah a hongom ding ua? huaite a hongtun ding chiangin chiamtehna bang a om dia? chiin, a dong ua.

⁸And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [he]; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.

⁸Huan, aman, Pimanga na om louhna ding un pilvang un. Mi tampiin, Kris tuh ka hi, a hun a tungding a hita, chiin, keimah min sial in a hong ding uh; huaite jui kei un.

⁹And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.

⁹Huan, kidou thu leh buai thu na jak hun chiang un lau kei un; huaite a tung masa ding a, tawpna bel hi pah lou ding ahi ngala, a chi a.

¹⁰Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;

¹⁰Huan, a kianguah, Nam tuam leh nam tuam a kidou ding ua, gam tuam leh gam tuam a kidou ding uh;

¹¹and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.

¹¹jin nakpi takin a ling dinga, mun tuamtuam ah kial khawng a ke ding a, hi bang a lenglai dinga; van a kipanin thil lauhuai leh chiamtehna thupitak bang a hongom ding hi.

¹²But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name's sake.

¹²Himahleh, huai thil tengteng a tun main, nou a honman ding ua, kikhopnaina leh suangkulha-te kiangah piin a honhihgim ding uh, keimah min jiakin kumpipate leh gam ukte ma ah a honpi ding uh.

¹³It shall turn out unto you for a testimony.

¹³Hiai noute-a din theihpihna hun lemtang ahi ding.

¹⁴Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:

¹⁴Huchiin, dawnna ding ngaihtuah khol lou dingin na lungtang uah kihihkip un;

¹⁵for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay.

¹⁵na melma tengteng un hondou ua honsel theihlouhna ding un kam leh pilna honpe ding ka hi ngala.

¹⁶But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to death.

¹⁶Huan, na nu u leh na pate, na unaute, na sanggamte, na lawmte un leng honmansak ding uh; a khen a honhihlum ding uh;

¹⁷And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

¹⁷keimah min jiakin mi tengteng huat na hi ding uh.

¹⁸And not a hair of your head shall perish.

¹⁸Himahleh, na samzang khat uh leng a mangthang kei ding.

¹⁹In your patience ye shall win your souls.

¹⁹Na kuhkalna uah na hin uh nahumbit ding uhi.

²⁰But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.

²⁰Himahleh, sepaihten Jerusalem khua a um uh na muh chiang un, a mangthang dek chih thei un.

²¹Then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.

²¹Huai hun chiangin Judia gama omten tangah taimang san u heh; a sunga omten pawt san u heh, gama omte tuh a sungah lut kei u heh.

²²For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

²²Huai nite tuh phu lakna ahi, thu a gelh tengteng uh a hongtun theihna ding in.

²³Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.

²³Huai nitein gaite leh naunou pomte tung a gik ding, khovel ah haksatna thupitak a tun ding jiakin leh hiai chite tunga hehna a tun ding jiakin.

²⁴And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

²⁴Huan, temsau in a si ding ua, nam chih kiangah sala piin a om ding uh; huan, jentelte ni a tawp mateng Jerusalem khua Jentelte sikdenin a om ding hi.

²⁵And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;

²⁵Huan, ni ah bang, kha ah bang, aksi ah bang, chiamtehna a om dinga; tuipi mau leh a kihoh jiakin lei ah leng nam chih haksatna leh mangbatna a tung ding;

²⁶men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

²⁶mite, launa jiak leh khovela thil hongtung ding ngaihtuah jiakin, a sibup ding uhi; van thilhihtheihnate ling ding ahi ngala.

²⁷And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

²⁷Huai hun chiangin Mihing Tapa thilhihtheihna leh thupina thupi toh mei laka hong a mu ding uh.

²⁸But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.

²⁸Huan, huai thilte a hongtun kipat chiangin en tou unla, dak khia un; na tatna uh hongnaita ahihmanin, achia.

²⁹And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees:

²⁹Huan, a kiang uah gentehna thu a gen a: Theipi kung leh sing tengteng en un;

³⁰when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh.

³⁰a hongsel nou takin huai tuh na mu ua, nipi hongtung ding ahi chih noumauin na thei uhi.

³¹Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.

³¹Huchi mahbangin nou leng huai bangte a hongtung na muh hun chiang un, Pathian Gam a hongnaita chih thei un.

³²Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished.

³²Chihtaktakin ka hon hilh ahi, thil tengteng a tun kim masiah tulai khangthakte a mang kei ding uh.

³³Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

³³Lei leh van a mang dia, ka thute jaw a mang kei ding.

³⁴But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:

³⁴Ahihhangin pilvang un, huchilou injaw nek vah luat toh, zu kham toh dam sung khosak ngaihtuah toh, na lungtang uh a dim lokha ding a, huai niin thang awk bangin thakhatin na tunguah a hongtung guih kha ding.

³⁵for [so] shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth.

³⁵Tuabang takin leitung tengteng a omte tungah a tung chiat ding ahi ngala.

³⁶But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

³⁶Huchiin, huai thil hongtung ding tengteng pel ding leh Mihing Tapa maa dingtak dinga seh na hih theihna ding uleh thahatna na neihna dingun chiklai peuhin leng thum kawmin limsak gige un, a chi a.

³⁷And every day he was teaching in the temple; and every night he went out, and lodged in the mount that is called Olivet.

³⁷Huan, ni tengin Pathian biakin ah thu hilh jel a; jan tengin a pawta, Oliv tang a chih uah a giak jel hi.Huan, jingin a thu ngaikhe dingin mi tengteng Pathian biakin ah a kiangah a hong jel uh.

³⁸And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.

³⁸Huan, jingin a thu ngaikhe dingin mi tengteng Pathian biakin ah a kiangah a hong jel uh.
