Matthew

7

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
1Hawmsak kei un, hawmsak na hih louhna ding un.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
2Na hawmsak bangmahin hawmsakin na omding uh, na tehna ngei mah un a hontehsak nawn ding uh.
3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
3Huan bangdia, nangmah mita singtum om ngaihtuah loua, na unau mita nin neng neu chik mu na hia?
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?
4Bang chin na unau kiangah. Namita kipanin huai nin neng neu chik honla khesak ve, na chih theih ding? Ngaiin, nangmah mit mahmah ah singtum a om nilouh ngala.
5Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
5Milepchiah: na mit a kipan singtum la khe masa in; huchiin na unau mita kipan nin neng neu chik lak khiakding ki chiantakin na mu thei ding.
6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you.
6Ui kiang ah thil siiangthou pe kei un; vok maah na tuikepsuang uh leng pai kei un, a chilse kha ding ua, huan, kiheiin a honbaljak khading uh.
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
7Ngen un. piakin na om ding uhi, zongin na muding uh; kiu un, a honhon ding uhi;
8for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
8kuapeuh a ngenin a mu ua; kuapeuh a zongin a mu ua; kuapeuh a kiu tuh honin a om ding uhi.
9Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone;
9Ahihleh, nou khawng, kuapeuh na tapa un tanghou honngen taleh, kuan suang na pe ding ua?
10or if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent?
10Ahihleh, ngasa hongen taleh, kuan gul na pe ding ua?
11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
11Huchihileh, nou migilou inbawn, na tate uh thil hoih piak nadan na theih un, na Pa uh vana omin a ngente thil hoih pe zo semsem lou ding hia?
12All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.
12Huaijiakin, thil bangkim min na tung ua a hih ua na deih ding bang uh, mi tungah leng hih sam un; huaituh dan thu leh jawlneite thu ahi him ahi.
13Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.
13Kong kochik ah lut un; manthatnaa paina kong tuh a ja a, a lam leng a lian ngala, huai lam a lut tuh tam leng a tam mahmah uh;
14For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.
14hinna a paina kong a kochik a a lam leng a neua, a mute leng tawm chik ahi uh.
15Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
15Jawlnei takloute lakah pilvang un, huaite tuh belam vun silhin na kianguah a hongpai nak ua, a sung lam uah lah nge duhgawl pipi ahi ngal ua.
16By their fruits ye shall know them. Do [men] gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
16A mau tuh a gah uah na thei ding uh. Khaulingnei gui ah grep gah a lou ngei ua hia?
17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
17Lenling ah leng theipi a lou ngei ua hia? Huchi mahbangin sing hoih peuhmah a gah hoih naka; sing sia tuh a gah se nak.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
18Sing hoih a gah se theikei, sing sia lah a gah hoih thei sam kei.
19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
19sing chih gah hoih lou peuh tuh a phuk ua mei ah a pai uh.
20Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
20Huajiakin amau tuh a gah uah na thei mai ding uh.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
21Toupa, Toupa, nonchi napeuh vangamah a lut kei ding uh; ka Pa vana om deihlam hihte tuh a lut ding uh
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
22Huai ni chiangin mi tampiin, Toupa, na minin thute ka gen ua, na minin dawite ka delh khia un, na minin thil lamdang tampi ka hih jel uh hi lou hiam? a chi ding ua.
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
23Huai hun chiangin, Nou thil gilou hihte aw, ka honthei ngei kei, ka kianga kipanin paimang in, chiin, amau ka hilh ding.
24Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:
24Huchiin, mi chih hiai ka thu ja a, jawm peuh tuh, mi pil suangpi tunga in lam mi toh ka teh ding ahi.
25and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and if fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.
25Vuah a hongju a, tui a hong khanga, huih a hongnunga, huai in tuh a honmut jialjiala; himahleh a chim keia; suangpi tunga lep kip a hih jiakin.
26And every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
26Huan, mi chih, hiai ka thu jaa jawm lou peuh tuh, mihai piaunel tung lela in lammi toh ka teh ding ahi.
27and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.
27Vuah a hongju a tui a hongkhanga, huih a hongnunga, huai in tuh a honmut jialjiala; a chimta huai tuh a nak chip ngei hi, a chi a.
28And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching:
28Huan, hichi ahi a, Jesun huai thu a gen zoh takin, mipin a thuhilh tuh lamdang a sa mahmah uaLaigelhmite bang lou a, thuneihna nei bang taka amaute thu a hilh jiakin.
29for he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as their scribes.
29Laigelhmite bang lou a, thuneihna nei bang taka amaute thu a hilh jiakin.
