1Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.
1(113:9) Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему дай славу, ради милости Твоей, ради истины Твоей.
2Wherefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?
2(113:10) Для чего язычникам говорить: „где же Бог их"?
3But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.
3(113:11) Бог наш на небесах; творит все, что хочет.
4Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
4(113:12) А их идолы – серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих.
5They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;
5(113:13) Есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят;
6They have ears, but they hear not; Noses have they, but they smell not;
6(113:14) есть у них уши, но не слышат; есть у них ноздри, но не обоняют;
7They have hands, but they handle not; Feet have they, but they walk not; Neither speak they through their throat.
7(113:15) есть у них руки, но не осязают; есть у них ноги, но не ходят; и они не издают голоса гортанью своею.
8They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.
8(113:16) Подобны им да будут делающие их и все, надеющиеся на них.
9O Israel, trust thou in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.
9(113:17) Дом Израилев! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
10O house of Aaron, trust ye in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.
10(113:18) Дом Ааронов! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
11Ye that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.
11(113:19) Боящиеся Господа! уповайте на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
12Jehovah hath been mindful of us; he will bless [us]: He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
12(113:20) Господь помнит нас, благословляет нас , благословляетдом Израилев, благословляет дом Ааронов;
13He will bless them that fear Jehovah, Both small and great.
13(113:21) благословляет боящихся Господа, малых с великими.
14Jehovah increase you more and more, You and your children.
14(113:22) Да приложит вам Господь более и более, вам и детям вашим.
15Blessed are ye of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.
15(113:23) Благословенны вы Господом, сотворившим небо и землю.
16The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah; But the earth hath he given to the children of men.
16(113:24) Небо – небо Господу, а землю Он дал сынам человеческим.
17The dead praise not Jehovah, Neither any that go down into silence;
17(113:25) Ни мертвые восхвалят Господа, ни все нисходящие в могилу;
18But we will bless Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore. Praise ye Jehovah.
18(113:26) но мы будем благословлять Господа отныне и вовек. Аллилуия.
