1Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise [him], O ye servants of Jehovah,
1(134:1) Аллилуия. Хвалите имя Господне, хвалите, рабы Господни,
2Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.
2(134:2) стоящие в доме Господнем, во дворах дома Бога нашего.
3Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
3(134:3) Хвалите Господа, ибо Господь благ; пойте имени Его, ибо это сладостно,
4For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [And] Israel for his own possession.
4(134:4) ибо Господь избрал Себе Иакова, Израиля в собственность Свою.
5For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.
5(134:5) Я познал, что велик Господь, и Господь наш превыше всех богов.
6Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
6(134:6) Господь творит все, что хочет, на небесах и на земле, на морях и во всех безднах;
7Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;
7(134:7) возводит облака от края земли, творит молнии при дожде, изводит ветер из хранилищ Своих.
8Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;
8(134:8) Он поразил первенцев Египта, от человека до скота,
9Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;
9(134:9) послал знамения и чудеса среди тебя, Египет, на фараона и навсех рабов его,
10Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,
10(134:10) поразил народы многие и истребил царей сильных:
11Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,
11(134:11) Сигона, царя Аморрейского, и Ога, царя Васанского, и все царства Ханаанские;
12And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.
12(134:12) и отдал землю их в наследие, в наследие Израилю, народуСвоему.
13Thy name, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; Thy memorial [name], O Jehovah, throughout all generations.
13(134:13) Господи! имя Твое вовек; Господи! память о Тебе в род и род.
14For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.
14(134:14) Ибо Господь будет судить народ Свой и над рабами Своими умилосердится.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
15(134:15) Идолы язычников – серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих:
16They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;
16(134:16) есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят;
17They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.
17(134:17) есть у них уши, но не слышат, и нет дыхания в устах их.
18They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.
18(134:18) Подобны им будут делающие их и всякий, кто надеется на них.
19O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:
19(134:19) Дом Израилев! благословите Господа. Дом Ааронов! благословите Господа.
20O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
20(134:20) Дом Левиин! благословите Господа. Боящиеся Господа! благословите Господа.
21Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
21(134:21) Благословен Господь от Сиона, живущий в Иерусалиме! Аллилуия!
